Wow! This pizza is good ! I didn't realize how close this business was to my home until I was looking for pizza places on Yelp that I hadn't tried. The outside is very clean and the staff were very respectful. Parking spaces are limited, especially on a weekend, but nothing to complain about. The pizza smelled and looked delicious when it came to us. I just ordered a veggie pizza as I wasn't trying to be too filled with bread before I had the main course. The pizza has the normal brown you see on top from baking . Oh my gosh ! A browned topping! If you want the veggies just thrown on top and not baked with the pizza, I'm sure that's doable but don't expect your toppings not to be browned with the pizza. I don't see too many standard veggie pizzas with broccoli so that was a nice treat. The sauce is ON POINT! It's so delicious and different from what you get most places; it's very savory with a hint of spice. They also have sesame seeds on the crust. Although a very nice touch, they could hold back a little on how much they add. The price point is reasonable as this isn't a huge papa John's chain, so I wouldn't expect a $5 hot and ready or a $10 large pizza special from Papa Johns. All in all a very good visit and can't wait to try some of the other menu items. read more

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the delivery didn't take long- although I'm only 5 minutes from the restaurant. I ordered a pizza with alfredo sauce, bacon, spinach, and artichokes and an order of mozzarella sticks. I've had the same pizza from another Mio's location multiple times and it was so so good. What came was a hard, overbaked, oily pizza with hardly any toppings. The alfredo sauce was barely there and was basically just oil. Some of the pieces of the pizza only had one or two tiny pieces of bacon on them and no artichokes. The mozzarella sticks were so overdone, and obviously so. They were dark and all the cheese had left the breading. I've sent an email to them, so hopefully I'll hear back. It was not worth the $25 I paid for it. read more

The owner of Mio's in Loveland has taken over the Mio's in Mariemont. He said that he will be bringing the best sellers from Mariemont into the Loveland location. I got to taste-test one item...a goat cheese curd. It is a Babybel cheese-sized piece of goat cheese, coated in seasoned bread crumbs and deepfried or baked* like a cheese stick. (*I forgot to ask) It was drizzled with a vinaigrette. I like goat cheese and thought it was good. My husband thought that a mix of those with mozzarella sticks would be a "cheese lover's" appetizer. Also, a new salad option is in the works! The owner said that he's keeping the standard Mio's menu options. However, I am looking forward to the new menu launch! read more

I've ordered delivery now twice from this place and must admit I'm very disappointed. 6months ago I told myself I would never eat here again, but I gave them a second chance. Now I wish I hadn't. Both times delivery took an hour+ (longer than quoted), my appetizer bread was soggy and cold, I tried basil instead of the spinach bread type this time only to be reminded of the disappointment. Last time I got the veggie pizza which was blackened and burned sesame crust served cold. This time I tried to play it safe and I went for soup and salad. My French onion soup was cold and bland with uncooked crunchy onions and soggy croutons - where is the melted cheese? (And my salad had everything on it although I ordered toppings on the side.) If it was cheap I probably wouldn't mind as much, but the value and quality just isn't what I expect from my local mios. I used to live in Hyde park and although I never ate at mios there I remembered people years ago speaking very highly of them. We've been going to Mio's at least once a week for the past 2 months now. Recently the pizza quality has gone down. Pizza is okay, but they really don't put a lot of toppings on their product. For example, I ordered double mushrooms on our pizza and they put barely any on. The girl at the register gave us a discount when we showed her because it was laughably bad. Also a lot of teenagers work here and they need a training on professionalism. They run around a lot, flirt loudly, and don't pay attention to their orders. read more

This was my first time trying Mio's, and my husband and I both loved it! The dining area was clean and simple. We tried the fried cheese ravioli, which was a touch spicy. Fine by me, but the husband disliked. We ordered a stuffed pizza with mushrooms and spinach, which takes a little longer to cook, but it didn't seem like a horrendously long time. The pizza was really good; it had a slightly sweet layer of tomato sauce and was really thick and dense and oozing cheese. Perhaps it's even better than Uno?! My family gets pizza from Mio's about twice a month. It is always good, and they offer coupons on their website. Speaking of their website, it offers a very usable interface for ordering and checking out. I hadn't dined-in until today, and it was nice. It was a Saturday around 11:30am, and we went in for lunch. The place was empty, but it was a comfortable space with lots of space, some TVs, etc. Instead of pizza, I got a hoagie and wings, both of which were also good. You pay more here than you will at say a Grandma's or a Marco's, but I believe the quality is commensurately better as well. read more

This used to be my favorite neighborhood pizza place, but the quality has gone downhill recently. A little bit of of adult supervision of the weekend lunch shift would go a long way. AHHH!! THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE GARLIC BREAD. I could not be more excited. It was amazing. I talked to Dan, the fabulous owner who told me he is very aware of cross contamination and explained they use new cookware and tools for gluten free orders. You can get hoagie sandwiches with gluten free buns or pizza crust gluten free. I ordered a pepperoni and onion gluten free. It was delicious! I can't wait to eat here again. I like the pizza here but agree with some other reviewers that the price point is a little high. I usually get the large pizza which is 12 slices and is enough for 3-4 adults. It runs about 16-20$ depending on the toppings you get. I like the location across the street from Kroger and there's ample parking as well. read more

Came here with my boyfriend for the first time the other day after grocery shopping. It's really everything a quality pizza parlor should be. Classic atmosphere and the pizza has nice thin crust! On Dec 22- 2017 at 9:03PM I ordered 2 baked lasagna dinners and 2 orders of meatballs for pick up. I asked the young lady how many meatballs per order and she told me 4 per order. After returning home and looking at my order and to my amazement they gave me 2 orders of meat balls in their own containers but I only had 2 meatballs in each container but each one was cut in half. So I guess she met to say 4 halves. No big deal. But the baked lasagna would taste better if it was hot. It wasn't even warm and tomato sauce takes awhile to cool down. The inside was maybe room temperature. There were about 8 or 9 young persons sitting around a table when I arrived and I believed all but a few worked at Mios and I was the only customer in there. It's a fun little places where many local families gather regularly. However, their price to portion ratio leaves a lot to be desired. A small specialty salad, for example, will run you about $8. You would think this would be a small dinner salad, but a small side salad is more of what you get. For an $8 salad I should be left feeling kind of full, not wondering what else I am going to have to order to satisfy my appetite. Really all of the portions are smaller than you would expect based on their prices. Looking for a fun, family place for good pizza or Italian fare and this place is fine. This is our usual go to place for last minute dining out. This night seemed unusually busy and I don't think they were prepared. We had some issues, such as forgetting a salad and cold soup. It shouldn't be difficult to get cheese on s sandwich in a pizza restaurant. Friday night we went there again with another couple. We placed our order at 6:30. At 7:05 our good had not arrived. I'm only giving one star because I can't give it zero stars. Been to this spot many times before, but will never go back. I have never left a review before, but this was ridiculous. I will say our server was great, but the cook staff was something like I've never seen. We received our order and the dough on our pizza was raw. When the sever asked how our pizza was we let her know that it wasn't cooked properly, and she said she would let the cook know. She went back to tell the cook and I hear him say "well if they don't like it they can get the F@&k out". I was shocked. The server comes back out yo apologize not knowing we over heard, so we ask if he said that and she confirmed it. She was very embarrassed you could tell, so we asked to speak to the manager. The manager tried to apologize, but he was one of the ones in the back when this was said. Needless to say, we took his advice and just got the F@&k out. This Mio's is absolutely fantastic. I'm going to preface this by saying that we went on a Wednesday night when there was a huge rainstorm and most of the surrounding area didn't have power. Needless to say, we got to Mio's, the phone was ringing off the hook with delivery orders and there were about 10 people waiting to be seated. The servers handled the crowd like champs! Yes, they were running around, but they did it with a smile on their face and true professionalism. I was impressed. Our deluxe pizza (with sesame seed crust! You must get the sesame seed crust!) came out quickly and was hot and delicious. Even with the crowd, our glasses were never empty. I have spoken with Dan about a customers ability to show the coupon via smartphone...online ad...online redemption. He agrees but often the manager in duty will require it.
