Interesting experience! [Roseville CA] This experience was super unexpected but the treatment was nice. I parked on this side of the building to head across the street at Purple Kow. Before heading there I thought I'd say hello to the owner of the salon which was my friend. I found out that she no longer owns the salon and has moved on... Enter Lin! Although there was a little language barrier she was a great salesperson. She gave me her spiel and presented me sale promotions and even though I can't compare the prices for these type of services to other salons because I have never had this type of experience done on me before I finally agreed and gave me to Katie to do my nails. I picked a color and it was just a plain, no artwork type as I've seen other Yelp friends done theirs. Katie did a beautiful job though. Lin took off to the back room. Enter Lin again! She convinced me to treat myself to a foot massage since my birthday was coming up and to celebrate and pamper myself. -sigh- okay, I agreed and gave me to Tammy to get started. Ooh! My feet felt good. Normally, I avoided these things because I felt funny about other people touching my dogs. After a while Tammy finished with painting my toenails. Enter Lin again for the payment. Btw, they also accept Venmo, Zelle and, of course, cash. I must say that the experience was entertaining, she even tried to set me up with one of their male co-worker. Messed up my nail polish on all fingers after tried to repaint messed up nail color on couple fingers. After I left, I realized all the repaint finger nails all have bubbles. Maybe I should have insisting on the same young lady doing the manicure instead of letting inexperienced pedicure person to fix up. read more

This is my second time going to MIO and the service is amazing! Lin has made each of my visits very special. If I show her a picture of what I want, She will copy it perfectly. One thing I love about Lin is she has great conversation and she gives all of her attention to me as a client. CB gave me such a good pedicure as well. I went in for the special pedicure that was 29.99 half way through I was told it's going to be more for cauls removal and gel removal so I agree to the #1 which is 40.00 for regular and additional 5 to take off my gel polish, very disappointing I will not be back. I read my book the entire time, it was so peaceful. Michael did a great job on my feet that needed a lot of work. I usually dread the scrubbing part of a pedicure because it tickles- but Michael did it so firmly that it didn't tickle at all. read more
