I work with Fowler regularly in my job at BU, and I have nothing but high praise for them in all…read moreaspects of their work, customer service, and patience. They are like unto paragons of the printing art, taking roughly-hewn works and turning them, as if by alchemy, into something beautiful. I've printed pretty much every type of project with Fowler that I can think of: a 92 page relocation guide, tons of brochures, simple paper applications, etc. In every case, Fowler was able to provide a bid that was comically lower than it's competition (in one case, they undercut a competitor by $10,000 on a job that cost less than $10,000 total - I'm still trying to figure out how they did that, or alternately, how their competitors ever got any business). For promotional items, flyers for meetup groups, or other cool print jobs that you might have, getting something cheap is REALLY nice! Also, they have probably the most patient, knowledgeable work force I've dealt with in a vendor before. I started bidding projects with Fowler before I knew anything about the commercial printing world, and they were able to walk me through the various options, terminology, and issues I might face in the future. Every job I send to them has some small problem that's entirely my fault, and they never get angry, irritable (that I can tell!) or have a problem fixing it. Dan, in particular, is incredible. If you are looking for a commercial printer that gets the job done, done well, done cheap, done fast, and done environmentally friendly (they use soy inks that are renewable, and are 100% powered by wind energy), Fowler's the place to go.

He was rude to customers, acted aggressively toward the chef, and created a very uncomfortable environment. What's worse, he kept asking me for tips several times, which felt inappropriate and pushy. I also noticed signs that they may be selling illegal items, which is a serious concern. This place needs to be reported and investigated. I will never come back, and I don't recommend anyone to go there.

The guy was rude and told me that it would take 3 days to get my money back because they did not have money in the store . He lied to me!! I called western union customer service they told me once you do cancelations the money would be available immediately. Said that, I will probably be back because it is the closest place to get the things they sell, especially as a teacher. The location is not terrible. It's right at the corner of Route one in a small plaza, so the parking is fairly plentiful. The employees seem like decent people here. I have nothing particularly wonderful to say, but I don't have anything particularly Negative to say either. I suppose my experiences here have been fairly neutral. One observation I have is that since I have been coming here for about six months, they always seem to be under renovation. There always seems to be something going on, which affects the normal traffic pattern in the store. As a result, things seem a bit disorganized, and simple items that should be in stock at all times just aren't. That can be frustrating at times. They also don't have much in the way of office furniture, especially set up in the store to look at and try out. I was fairly surprised at that, as that seems to be something that all these stores have. Overall, there's nothing terrible about this store, but if you were looking for bigger, more organized stores, there are other stationary/office type stores all within several miles right on route one.
