He has all of the knowledge & experience of an old world signmaker & all of the tools & computer assists of a modern sign technologist. It was an tremendous advantage to be able to work with and develop my signage ideas with the owner of the business. Unlike companies like FAST SIGNS who are staffed by young kids still green behind the ears and exorbitantly inflated prices coupled with 3 to 5 day turnarounds. Which by the way they call FAST. Those outfits are a joke. I contacted Fred by phone. Emailed him my primitive MSword document. He immediately gave me a price over the phone. I drove over there. Sat down at the computer with him for 20 minutes. 20 minutes later I was able to approve his creation of the CHROME graphics for both sides of my Volvo. It measures 5 feet by a foot. Not a small sign by any measure of the imagination. This all transpired by 10:00 a.m. The following day I showed up & within 1 hour the outstanding CHROME signage with my website address was emblazoned on both sides of my Volvo. Check out the photos which I've uploaded here on YELP. The CHROME is mirror finish with a crystal clear super reflective surface. I was so impressed with Mr. Hunter's skill and business practices I commissioned him to do further work for my business. He created the additional graphics you can view on the 4 windows of my Volvo and boldly displayed on the hood area.

When I asked for my order I knew something was off. It turns out my order was lost in the email and wasn't made. It was very time sensitive so I was hoping we could figure something out. They apologized, took full responsibility, and said they can get it done by 6:00PM. The issue was that I had work plans so I wasn't going to be able to get it. The guy offered to walk it down to the Hilton for me. How cool! Not only that but 1) he took the poster board to my booth and set it up AND took photos so that I knew it was taken care of 2) they gave me 10% off for the inconvenience. The Staff at this location, Cindy, Amy Shaun have been GREAT at taking my messages and delivering them to Tom. Tom just doesn't think much of his customers to actually call them back. Even worse, my signage was delivered 45 days later than promised, and only after I repeatedly pushed for completion. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the delay, and certainly no offer to make things right. For a business that should understand the importance of timelines and customer service, this was unacceptable. This office used to be owned and run by Michael Sepinuck. He sold to Tom and the quality, and integrity of this business fell precipitously as a result... Due to Tom. If you look at their website, you will see Miachel listed with a picture, but you will NOT see a bio or picture of Tom Grave. Good luck out there, dude * For educational purposes when booking a Free On-Site Consultation (very generous to offer that): You should already know and have researched exactly what kind of sign you want and know what the signs are called and what you're looking for. The consultation is posted as ""assess your signage needs" - FYI they will not be assessing what fits the space or what works for the space, it's more that they will tell you 1) the workflow involved to get your sign up, 2) the work they offer to support the process, and 3) how much they charge to custom design. Having that information as "what to expect" and knowing how to prepare for the meeting would've made for a more productive meet. Perhaps including that in the landing page with a "what to expect" or "how to prepare best" in the confirmation email would've made the best use of everyone's time. My consultant showed up late to our scheduled appointment. It sounds like they do great work, as they came recommended from a few fellow business owners in Roslindale. My consultant (Ravee) talked over me as i was trying to explain what i didn't understand. I did say "can I finish" and he just kept talking. And then kept interrupting me. This style of collaboration is not for me.
