If anyone is looking around for a place that offers more than spiral binding, they do offer "perfect binding" which is glued, unexposed page edges where they're bound together. More like a real book and more durable. I wish I knew about them sooner. Update: I tried to use him again for a personal book binding project. He gave me rushed service and did not give me the product I asked for. If he didn't have the time to do what I wanted he could've referred me to the printing shop one Plaza over. They did take me, and told me he will sometimes refer clients. The woman there understood exactly what I was asking for and instead of blatantly refusing my service like ad print guy did, they just let me know when to pick it up.

I've used Minuteman Press in Waltham for the past dozen years of so whenever I needed something I…read morecouldn't print from my printer. When I needed printing for a local non-profit, the price was amazing. Since then I find I get individual service, advice as to the best way to prepare my files and very competitive prices. Weddings can be incredibly stressful and are hard to keep track of all the little things. We tried…read moreto have our table placings printed at Staples 5 days before our event and they were unable to do so and could not offer any solutions to our issue. We had purchased printable, perforated place cards that already had a crease in the middle. We needed names printed onto these cards and Staples could not do it because of the machines they use. They told us there was nothing they could do and suggested we come to Ink Etc Marketing. From the moment we walked into the door the owner was friendly and engaging. We explained our time crunch and why Staples was not able to help us. He thought about it for a moment and they pulled up a picture of the design we had saved on a flash drive. He said that the perforated paper does have issues being put through printers, but he had an alternative suggestion. He suggested that we use card stock he had in stock and he would print, cut, and crease the cards so they could be folded in half without tearing in the machine. We agreed and went on our way. He called us less than 4 hours after we placed our order and we were able to pickup exactly what we needed. This was a huge relief and I would definitely recommend his services in the future. We were able to return the card stock we had bought and got beautiful place cards with plenty of time to spare.
