The team of people working at Boston Sign are really friendly and fun, too! Their pricing may seem a little high, but for the quality of work you get, they are actually really reasonably priced! They are very talented designers and they take great pride in their work! It's great to go to a meeting at their office because they will give you a tour of their shop and you get to see all kinds of examples of their work all over the walls. If there's a cool sign in Boston that you like, chances are Boston Sign did it! We once tried to use a Sign-O-Rama for some custom 'No Parking' signs at one of our properties to save a little money, but that company didn't use the Pantone colors we asked them to and the signs came out looking horrible- we never made that mistake again! Boston Sign did it all- huge outdoors banners, stainless steel entrance signs with LED lights, funky directories with salvaged metal, unique directional signs that really went with the brand identity of the properties, and they even produced all the signage for a history exhibit in one of our buildings (everything from super-graphics of historic photos and ads on the walls to the tiny placard in the exhibit cases). Boston Sign Co is so great! I can't say enough good things about them! If you're looking for high quality signs or banners, especially if you need any help with the design work- I urge you to just meet with the team at Boston Sign (at their nifty office!) & talk with the guys about what you want, listen to their ideas, see their work, and you'll know you should trust me and go with Boston Sign over the really cheap sign places! But none of them do so with such individual attention, competitive pricing, flexibility, patience, and above-and-beyond customer service. My school wanted to produce a small number of baseball caps with our logo to be given to our biggest donors. From a list we picked Imprint Express. Good choice. Throughout the long process from start to finish we had personal help from a single representative. If you have ever undertaken one of these projects you'll know how fantastic it is to have one person you're working with rather then a mini-call center where instructions are lost in a jumble of bureaucracy and a lack of accountability. They treated us with a small-scale project with incredible attention; like we were some huge contract. They even went so far as to liiterally send a person to our school to go over thread colors with us. I don't know of any other place that would do that. This is old school customer service like it should be.

I cannot thank them enough for what a huge favor they have done for me. I had a last minute…read moregraduation stole that I needed embroidery for. Many places in the area did not provide the type of service I was looking for, or they needed to have a minimum of pieces to be embroidered. I sent an inquiry through Yelp and received a response from them right away letting me know they are able to do it. I loved that they were flexible with when I am able to come in to drop the graduation stole - since I was in a rush, I went in right after work on the same day. They provided me with a quote on Yelp and I was very thrilled with it. When I dropped it off, they were very thorough with what they are able to do with their expertise. I was able to choose the font of the embroidery and the location of where I wanted everything. They were so accommodating despite how little time they had with this and were SO kind about it. After I told them how I wanted everything, they gave me an estimated date and I did not have to leave a deposit. The next day or so, the staff emailed me a draft before having a final approval. I was very pleased with it and gave her the final OK. Less than a week later, I received an email saying it was ready.... way before the estimated date which was even better. Words cannot describe what a great job they have done. I highly recommend coming to them because they really do a fabulous job with accommodation and the embroidery itself. This will be my go-to place for embroidery from now on.

Thirty years ago, it seemed like there were shops like Needham Press on every other corner…read more Nowadays, with so much scanning, printing and design power on our office/home computers (not to mention all those mail-order business card outfits with big TV advertising budgets), it's tempting to say "who needs a local print shop?" Turns out, we do. For despite all that technology at our finger tips, sometimes what we really need is a human being who can solve our problems. That's what I found at Needham Press. I had a seemingly simple need (I'll spare you the boring details) but it sure didn't look that complicated. Nevertheless, it could not be addressed by the half-dozen other shops I called and visited. (One tried gamely, but actually made my problem worse.) A few blocks down Chestnut Street is Needham's iconic Harvey's Hardware, a place where they carry hard-to-find parts in stock and take the time to understand your problem and help you solve it. The best way I can describe Needham Press is that they are the Harvey's Hardware of printing! BTW - forty years ago I worked in an in-house printing department for a big corporation. Take it from me, these guys at Needham Press know what they are doing. Beyond that, while technology may have changed, outstanding customer service has not. They deliver on both. I'll be back.
