When I went to leave and take my items with me they became very pushy and possessive about holding on to my items saying they would "just hold on to them to run some ideas and let you know what we came up with" I asked multiple times for my stuff but they insisted and put some distance between me and my stuff. I didn't think much about it at the time but when I left and digested over the next couple of days I didn't like the feeling of someone else holding on to my stuff so I went back in to get the pieces back. When I returned I was told I couldn't get my stuff because they were busy trying to come up with designs etc. at this point I became more uneasy and I again left the store without my stuff. I called later to say I want my stuff back and when will it be ready to pick up and the owner gave me the spiel that I needed to support local business etc etc and said they had already started on the items. I really didn't want to be in this position and wasn't given a price but was told I'd be given a good deal. I was shocked when I went back to pick up the items at the price. I showed them to a friend of mine that was having hers done at Michael's in Acton and she was stunned at the price. Literally every item I paid approx $400 and she had hers done for about $50 each. I just felt like a fool and my trust was broken. I will never be back to the store I feel totally misled

We found the combination that would set it off nicely with the wall and cabinet colors, I paid, and left to await the call that the job was done. Shortly after I got home, they called. They had just opened a box of new frame samples and stumbled across one they thought was perfect for my project; did I want to come back and see it? Now, I would have been perfectly happy with the original choice, and would never have known of this new option. But I went back, and it was fabulous. Dithered for a while (I did like the first frame), but ultimately the new choice was indeed perfect. Price was the same, so they were not simply trying to get more money for the job - it really was giving me a new option for my project. When I got my framed piece, it was spectacular with the new frame choice. We are really pleased, both with the piece itself and with the way they bent over backwards to give me all the options to make it perfect for my space. That was and is very much appreciated.

Not to mention, she is incredibly sweet and delightful to work with. I would highly recommend this local business to anyone in need of custom framing!

A friend told me she had a very good experience there but I have been there twice and each time I felt like the person behind the counter could care less whether or not I was going to be satisfied with the outcome. Several times during our fifteen minutes there, we asked for help and advice ... All the salesperson did was hand us what we asked for. Finally I said: "I think we really need your advice. Nothing we are picking out seems to look right with this painting." We finally gave up and were ready to walk out, confused by the whole experience. Then she finally said: "Well, I wouldn't put a mat or glass on a painting." She stood there that whole time watching us flounder and ask for her advice yet didn't say a word until we gave up. I couldn't believe she stood there the whole time unwilling to share her expertise with us. She was going to write our order up regardless. Did she just not care or worse, was she somehow enjoying our ignorance? We left and found another framer in Bedford who was willing and able to advise us. The painting looks amazing in the frame he helped us pick out and we are very grateful.

And on top of that, they manage to install the shows harmoniously so that each artwork strengthens the next-- something that requires many years of experience, even for the most talented artists. The owner and her staff are so kind and welcoming. They generously invited me in while they were busy hanging the art for the next show. In my experience, this sort of kindness is harder to come by in such a fast-paced world, so what a breath of fresh air it was to be greeted so warmly. The gallery is conveniently located in the hip West Concord Village, near parking, food, and more fun, so I encourage you to plan your trip accordingly and spend some decent time in the gallery. It's definitely worth it.

She cancelled our first one. Still very enthusiastic about my work, she rescheduled but was a no-show without a word. I thought something had happened to her, but then found she'd posted three days later on social media. So she was alive, anyway. When I contacted her about the second missed studio visit from three days earlier, she apologized and asked to reschedule again, but I'd had it by then. I was tired of moving my heavy pieces into one room for easy viewing (and making snacks from scratch) for her not to show up.
