I did not want to have hassle with a chain office supply store to get this done. I found this shop on the internet and decided to drop by. In just a few minutes I had a few posters, and a batch of flyers and postcards ready to go. They took my memory stick, helped me make sure my format was right and got to work. The business is family-owned and father and son were both there and ready to help. The service was friendly and the price was better than what I have paid at a chain store. I appreciate the convenience, service and price and recommend the shop!

We tried…read moreto have our table placings printed at Staples 5 days before our event and they were unable to do so and could not offer any solutions to our issue. We had purchased printable, perforated place cards that already had a crease in the middle. We needed names printed onto these cards and Staples could not do it because of the machines they use. They told us there was nothing they could do and suggested we come to Ink Etc Marketing. From the moment we walked into the door the owner was friendly and engaging. We explained our time crunch and why Staples was not able to help us. He thought about it for a moment and they pulled up a picture of the design we had saved on a flash drive. He said that the perforated paper does have issues being put through printers, but he had an alternative suggestion. He suggested that we use card stock he had in stock and he would print, cut, and crease the cards so they could be folded in half without tearing in the machine. We agreed and went on our way. He called us less than 4 hours after we placed our order and we were able to pickup exactly what we needed. This was a huge relief and I would definitely recommend his services in the future. We were able to return the card stock we had bought and got beautiful place cards with plenty of time to spare.

I had the worst experience at this location on a recent visit and consultation for printing…read moreservices. I was a previous customer, when I went into reorder business cards I decided that I would to choose new ones and possibly design a logo for my business. The gentleman behind the counter was less than helpful and his main concern was what type of vehicle I was driving, which was located outside the front door. I inquired about my desire to make up new cards and asked for some help and he gave me a binder with samples of business cards but offered no further help. I inquired about further creative help in designing new business cards and a logo, so asked who could help me and he said they had someone on staff named Kathy and he would give me her my number. It took two days for me to receive a call back from Kathy, she expressed to me how busy she was, too busy to call a customer back? Well anyhow, I set up a time to meet. I showed up on time and met with her after a short wait. After stating my intentions and giving Kathy a little input on how my initial greeting at Allegra went I still wanted to do business with her shop. I intially communicated with Kathy on what we talked about. When following up with a call, again Kathy stated how busy she has been. When I expressed my feelings on my experience on this small project with her up to the present time with a little dismay, thats when Kathy let me have it. She stated that she felt because I mentioned that I thought maybe another shop would do my design work for free in order to get the printing work that I had no intentions for paying for her time and effort until this point. I felt her talking down to me was so unprofessional. I guess my project was not to her liking. I would not recommend anybody I know to use this shop based on my experience with Allegra in Waltham. Con-artists. I…read morewanted a mat for under my computer chair. Looked at the websites for nearby stores to see who had them in stock so I could go get one in person. Landed on Staples. The mat was listed at $34.99 + shipping, or "free pickup in store if you order online". I didn't intend to order online, only to see if it was in stock, but when I looked at the item description it said "Get $3 off by ordering online, and picking up in store" so that's what I did - $32.99 + tax, no shipping. When I arrived at the store, there was a small line at the service desk and clearly no gigantic mat there waiting. I walked to the back of the store to see where they were kept, and found the exact mat I'd ordered... on the shelf with a price tag of $27.99. Not a sales tag, and not an old tag... As I was standing there, a guy came and grabbed the mat from in front of me and brought it to the counter. When I got to the counter, I asked about the price difference. I was told "that's the online price, for shipping" and I said it was not... shipping was billed separately. He then said it was a different product, which it was not, and he admitted. I'm not gonna lie, I went full "Karen" on these people. After asking for a manager, I eventually had 3 people talking to me, and they admitted ALL of the prices on the website are marked up over the store price! And that "pick up in store discount" is actually a markup over the regular in-store price on every single item. They guy behind me in line was older, wearing ACUs and had his daughter with him... I had offered to let him go ahead of me, since clearly this wasn't getting solved quickly, and he covered his daughters ears with his hands and said "F*ck these people, they're trying to f*ck you - I don't wanna spend my money here" and just left. The net result was a non-apology apology, and an offer to refund my card for the $32+tax and sell me the mat for the store price of $28+tax. I countered with wanting my $3 off, as promised... $25+ tax... because they'd admitted to running a scam, and it was the principle of the thing. Did I mention going "Full Karen"? They declined. I'm not often in a "Karen" kind of mood - I'm happy to eat a little crow, cut my losses, and walk away knowing that I'll never do business with a place again... but the level of con job that Staples corporate office has going is STAGGERING. They're pulling a literal "Bait and Switch" scam. So I reported it to the Massachusetts AG office of consumer affairs... Again, here's the scam. ITEM - $35 + Shipping to home or office! or ITEM - $35 + Free pickup at store + plus $3 off "regular price" (lie)! or ITEM - $28 if you walk in off the street and "pick up at store"!
