Dropped off my husbands suit jacket and my sons suit set. Everything came back pressed and cleaned.

We dropped off our new King Size Rose colored quilt with satin designs on it and picked up our daughters white quilt with flowers. It was about 15 minutes before they closed and they were busy but still very attentive and super friendly as always. We've been using this cleaners for years. No complaints from us, always a positive experience! Matter of fact, we just put our King Size Gray quilted comforter on last night that was still in the plastic bag since we picked it up from being cleaned from Minuteman last visit and I even pointed out to my hubby how fresh and pleasant it smelled!! I'm really big on how things smell, I have a super sensitive nose when it comes to smells. Thanks Minutemen, I slept pretty good last night!! read more

I took a dress I needed shortened to minutemen cleaners. She pinned the dress with literally 1 pin. I saw the tops of my yellow shoes. It was the perfect length. When I picked up the dress the seamstress was not there. As soon as I got home I tried the dress in and it was dragging on the ground. I immediately called and was told to bring it back in. When I got there I was told that I "okayed" the pin (which I did bc I saw the tops of my shoes) however, it was not where I agreed to it was dragging on the ground. She said she would fix it but it would cost me another $55. What?!? I did not agree to it dragging on the ground. She did not shorten it to where she pinned it. She must have gone a little bit lower and at 4 ft 11 it was literally on the ground. So Beware, they do not fix their mistakes. My mistake was not insisting on trying it on before I left and not reading the reviews prior. read more

This was the worst customer service experience I ever had. And the most dishonest people I've ever done business with. That's all you really need to know, but if you would like to know what happened, I think it's worth every minute spent typing this review because I would hate to have anyone go through what I went through. First of all, I dropped off a brand new Azazie bridesmaid dress for a hem (still had tags). They said it would take about a week. I said no rush the wedding is a little less than a month away. Two weeks later, I go to pick up the dress and it is not ready and I am told to come back the next week. That's fine. After 3 weeks in their possession, I go to pick up my dress again. As I go to try it on, I take it out of their plastic wrap and a dead lantern fly falls out. I think nothing of it and swipe it aside. I try on the dress and the hem is very uneven but I'm only wearing this dress once and the height is good. But what I become concerned about is a large (maybe oil?) stain on the hip of the dress and drips around the front waist area. I bring this to their attention and they proceed to tell me that that's "just the material". I say no, and point to the very obvious drips. Then they say I must've brought it to them like that. That I just didn't notice before today. I tried on that dress twice. When a woman tries on a dress she's looking at it in its entirety and one would notice a large stain on the front. Then the man says maybe the stain happened in the garment factory, but it didn't happen in his store. Nonetheless he said he would clean it for me and that I could pick it up next week. I'm thinking he's going to remedy the situation. At this point I had the dress in my possession for 4 days and they had the dress in theirs for 4 weeks. It's now the week of the wedding and I need to pick up my dress. It's clean. The man goes to check me out and asks me 3 times if I have cash and I tell him no, I have card only. Finally he goes to charge me and I notice, as he's running my card, that the amount on the screen is a lot lower than the $60 hem charge which I had not paid for yet. I want to be honest with him (even though he probably forgot because the hem was supposed to be done a while ago). So I point it out and he says ok, your new amount is $70. And I asked why $70 and not $60 and he says because he's also charging me $10 for the cleaning. I tell him I don't believe I should be charged for the cleaning. At this point I want some responsibility for all the mishaps with my dress. After arguing about it he finally says that he will only charge me $60 for the hem. However, instead of pressing "cancel" on the amount he already swiped me for, I watched him press "approve". And then he proceeded to enter another $60 charge. I said, "I thought you were not charging me for the cleaning." And he said he didn't and I told him I just watched him do it. He said he didn't again and it took me opening my bank app and showing him the charge to admit he did. And then he adjusted down the price of the hem to account for already charging an amount for the cleaning. That's just bad, dishonest business and I hope you take the time to find a different cleaning service. There was plenty of opportunity to take accountability and I'm ashamed that my honesty and patience was met with so much denial and lack of customer service on their part. read more

I have been using this cleaners for awhile and recently I had two bad experiences. Once the owner was not polite or courteous and the second incident was this week. I brought a jacket in to have something sewn on it and she acted like she didn't care when I asked her about were I wanted it sewed and it being done evenly. In front of another customer she gave me the tape and said to me measure where you want it, her attitude was rude, the customer behind me noticed it also. read more

Beware!!!! My husband dropped off his cleaning a few weeks ago and went back to pick up shortly after. They've lost one of his favorite shirts. They asked to have another week to find it. Never called back so went in and they said they couldn't find it and would not offer compensation for it. Never again!!!! read more

Ruined my dress for a wedding. I bought my dress to Minuteman to have it ironed for a wedding that was out of state. I picked up my dress on the way to the airport. It appeared to be ok at the time. When I arrived at my hotel I noticed that Minuteman had completely melted the pearls that were part of the dress. The entire neckline was ruined. I had to purchase another outfit for the wedding. When I called Minuteman to inform them about my dress, the owner suddenly claimed that he could not speak English! Upon returning home I went directly to the shop with my dress. The owner stated he would contact the dress designer to obtain the exact fabric and pearl neckline. I called several times about my dress over a 2 week period. The owner was never there or the person claimed they didn't speak English. I decided to go back to the store in person. The owner claimed he couldn't get the materials needed to fix my dress. I explained the dress was new and that I never had a chance to wear it. He offered to pay for the dress but it was a low ball offer. When I refused to accept his offer he demanded to see a receipt and became belligerent. I eventually grabbed my dress and told him that I would see him in court and that I would post about his lousy business using social media. He started laughing saying that Minuteman is not affiliated with social media. Do yourself a favor and skip this place! It's inexpensive but not worth the money or headache!
