This concept is SO brilliant, I can't believe someone didn't think of it earlier. I mean, in today's age of overly-specialized doctors and two hour wait times ... a clinic like this is a Godsend. For anything basic - this is where it's at. Frankly, when do most of us have any condition severe enough to require a specialist? Rarely. It's more like sinus infections and flu shots, so this clinic is totally prepared to handle those type of issues. I waited maybe five minutes. Awesome. And the best part? Got there at 1:30pm as a walk in | was told they're going to lunch so l sat in my car until 2:30 pm expecting they'd be back from lunch. When I walked back in at 2:30 I see a sign he back from at 3:00. I was on the wait list at 1:30 they skipped me and called 2 other patients who they claimed had appointments. They should've told me when I got there at 1:30 that I had people ahead of me. I ended up leaving after waiting for almost 2 hours. Terrible service and careless about their patients. read more

Went in for a skin infection and had a good visit. Left with antibiotics from the pharmacy and a follow-up appointment was made 7 days later by the doctor during the visit. Came in for the $139 follow-up appointment where I was told to bring in some self-monitored blood pressure readings and the (different) doctor refused to look at or even talk about the infection healing progress, saying that I needed to go to the kiosk and pay for a third appointment if I wanted to have her look at it. She said that this was a quick-service facility and there is no time to do anything other than look at my blood pressure numbers during that visit. There were no other patients being examined or waiting at the time. The second doctor was just in it for the money. I could have read my own self-monitored numbers and made the determination that under 120/80 is normal and saved an hour of waiting in an empty room and $139 of hard-earned money. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE. Avoid unless you need antibiotics, and even then, there are better and less expensive options like Amazon Health telemedicine. read more

Disappointed with the customer service. This was my first Annual routine visit and it was clearly communicated with the NP who examined me and as per my insurance, the deduction from my side should be 100% waived off but still I got a bill of 99$ claiming for the office visit. I have tried multiple ways to reach out to them either by directly walk-in as well as reached over their customer service number, and both were HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING. I have hardly received once a callback after 4-5 calls which literally put me in a never ending loop for 45-50 min. And the service agent whom I have reached to put my call in a long wait while she is checking my details, and finally she had a network lag ending with garbled voice, which again i have patiently handled and finally the call got cut with never calling back. The total conversation with the MinuteClinic agent seemed to be scamming and this is totally UNPROFESSIONAL Approach. read more

1st time i went there i had gone for smoking cessation. Got a prescription. Was happy with service. 2nd time i went in for depression/anxiety. The NP had no clue what to do. Ended up giving me a prescrip for 2 months @ $89 for the visit. I "was" happy until i got the bill and its wasn't $89 but $124. Ok, well, i paid it. 3rd time. Went in for diabetes assessment. Pricked my finger and then said she couldn't help me. Said i had to go to the ER @ $1100 for the visit out of pocket. Got billed from CVS for $124. I'm sorry $124 for someone to poke me with a needle and then tell me they can't help me? Thats like walking into Mcdonalds asking about a burger and then being told to go to Burger king yet billing me for telling me to go elsewhere. I won't go to CVS again. DO NOT USE THIS CLINC. They do not care about you and will not go out of their way to help you. Went in without an appointment and they would not see daughter. How can you make an appointment if you are needed at that moment and you go in for minor health support. Sent us away and told us to go to the ER. The ER is hours and costs thousands. They could have seen us inbetween patients or at the end of the day. Instead they were more concerned about what time they have to clock out. Called to complain to customer service and they would not take the complaint from the mother. I have never been so angry at a company in my life. You care about corp. money only, no concern for your customers and patients, and Walgreens will be the new place we shop. STAY AWAY FROM CVS !!! read more

What a great experience and staff today. I could make an appointment. They saw me in a timely way- and the provider was so thorough, helpful, kind and supportive. Good luck with the minute clinic. While convenient , what good is that if you are prescribed the wrong medication? I had to go to my doctor who saw what they prescribed and her exact words " that is the wrong medication they gave you." When questioning the minute clinic, I was told all they could do was document it. They can shove that documentation as I will never go back. read more

What a joke. If you have a runny nose, this is the place to go. If you have anything like a break or bad sprain, don't go here. They don't even have a x-ray machine. They refer you to someplace else but still charge you, even though they didn't do a thing. Total waste of time and money read more

This is now the second time I have been to this clinic and received the same unsatisfactory treatment. I rarely get sick enough to warrant seeking treatment but my daughter was diagnosed with strep throat. I started presenting with all the same symptoms last night and I know this infection requires antibiotics. I went to the clinic to get tested. The NP that saw me didn't examine my throat. She swabbed me and the test came back negative. She then she told me it was a virus and there was nothing else to do but ride it out. I asked if it was possible that I tested two soon- which I know to be an issue with rapid tests- and my concerns were dismissed. I asked if there was any indication to treat for strep considering I have been in constant contact with my child , who has it and whose care I oversee, and it is very contagious- again I was dismissed. I asked her to examine my throat and was told it wasn't necessary. I left and went directly to an urgent care, which I was avoiding because it is a greater out of pocket expense. The doctor there did examine my throat and said it looked like strep. He them tested me and it came back positive for strep. So I have medication but this whole experience was completely unnecessary. Will never go to this location again. read more

I had to take my wife in who was very sick in bed only to be told by the nurse practitioner that the medication she needed can't be prescribed because she is currently not sick enough. Shortly after, I was asked to leave because as the nurse practitioner said "I don't want to go through this again." I guess the response of being told your loved ones have to suffer with the home remedies that haven't been working for the last few days makes them uncomfortable. Who knew? Don't they take an oath to help patients? What about ethics? These are the questions I would be asking the doctor supervising the nurse practitioners if I could find contact info for said doctor. I've tried minute clinic and CVS with no luck. If you're sick and your doctor can't see you for a few days, skip this place unless you like being aggravated and throwing money away. read more

As much as I like to rip on CVS for oversaturating the area with its stores, not all of them have a Minute Clinic contained within. I see now that this would be a worthwhile addition to any area of town. Let's face it, little health/medical problems crop up from time to time, and you want to take care of them as soon as possible, because they are annoying. You don't want to go to a doctor, because you know that in this country, going to the doctor is a total P.I.T.A. You probably won't be able to get an appointment until next week, and when you finally get there, you'll be in a waiting room for two hours with a bunch of people who are hacking and sneezing all over you. At the Minute Clinic, no appointments. Just go and enter your info at the easy-to-use touch screen. Treatment is easy, efficient, and about as inexpensive as you could expect. In this case, ear wax was bothering me - I was hearing things as if I was underwater, and when I tried to treat the problem myself, not only did I fail to get rid of any wax, I introduced volumes of water into my ears that I couldn't shake out. The clinic nurse Alina gave me a good flush in both ears, and now I can hear in stereo again. She also informed me that I should keep a watch on my blood pressure, as it is "borderline," which I guess makes sense given that I've been slacking on exercise and not exactly saying "no" to things like pizza, burgers and truffle fries as of late. At some point you have to realize that you can't eat as if you're 16 :( Sigh. read more

What a DIFFERENT Minute Clinic experience! This time I really was in and out in just minutes! I think the key is definitely to get here early. I arrived at 8:30AM, right as the Minute Clinic was opening, and waited maybe 3 minutes for them to finish setting up shop. Margie, the nurse practitioner on duty today, was super sweet and helpful. She asked all the right questions and performed the examination on my eyes, which were bothering me and the reason for my visit, quickly and efficiently. Turns out I have bacterial pink eye...wah waaaaaah (the wah waaaah was in Debbie Downer tone of course). She sent my RX over to the pharmacy and within 10 minutes my prescription was ready. I would have been out of CVS in under 1/2 hour, but I took some time to peruse the magazine shelf....of course ;) read more

Stopped in for a flu shot today, no appointment necessary. Roxanna, the nurse practitioner, is a real sweetheart. And she has magic hands; I barely felt the needle and was surprised she was already done while I was still expecting to feel something painful. The whole visit took just a few minutes (I spend more time in line at the post office) - plus the 20 minutes it's recommended you wait after receiving the vaccine to watch for rare allergic reactions. Cost without insurance $30 - about the same as the copay for a doctor's office visit under some insurance plans. (I could have gone to the health department and gotten the shot for free, but considering the health department's appointment scheduling, the time you spend waiting to be seen once at the clinic, the parking situation, etc., it was just more convenient to go to the CVS Minute Clinic.) read more

I have never had such an unprofessional experience in my life. I am sure that negative feedback will not reach the people that it needs to but I feel that it is necessary to inform you of my experience. Previously, my husband and I traveled to our local minute clinic in order to walk in a receive a DOT physical and was told that the provider did not have time to see us. We made an appointment and came back the next day which was another day we took off early and drove thirty minutes to your Mariana location. As we met the provider, Julie Arroyo we inquired to why walk in is not a feature that you honor even though it is stated as available on your website. She said it had nothing to do with her, that it was an IT issue and she continued to be rude and state that she did not have time for our questions. She stated that we need to reschedule and come back. At this point, our issue became escalated because my husband is a truck driver with limited scheduling and was paying out of pocket. We asked for her supervisor and as they were not available asked for the supervisor's contact information. Julie Arroyo became belligerent stated that if we did not leave she would involve the police. She was very unprofessional and rude. She continued to say things under her breath and was demeaning as she said we were uneducated. Ultimately, she had the police escort us out of the building and have us trespassed. Although, I do not intend on seeking out your services anymore I hope that this is not what the company had in mind as it created it's mission statement and that you will look into your employed provider and realize that although she has acquired a nursing certification she has no meaning of common decency and continues to give Minute Clinic as well as CVS a negative image in the community. I was tested for COVID on Nov 3rd. They said 3-4 days for the results. I went to the drive-thru in Gainesville, GA on 1400 Park Hill Dr. Today is Nov 12th and I got a voicemail last night saying there was something wrong with the test and that I need to be retested. This is so aggravating. I cannot go back to work until I have results. I will be getting tested again local. I do not recommend this place and they are hard to get answers from. My husband went and had a great experience here. It was quick and he received great service. He had an ear infection and throat infection. They prescribed antibiotics that he could pick up at a nearby pharmacy since he was far from home and didn't have time to wait. If you are sick and want to be in and out his is a great option. Just moved to town and had kidney infection needed help asap w tricare healthcare. It was on a Saturday and I was done within 30minutes. The provider David was awesome and asked all the correct question yet was fast and efficient. It was nice to see he rushed yet didn't miss anything. I was not feeling well and I am new to Miami so I couldn't get in fast enough @ a doctor's office so I thought minute clinic.... NEVER AGAIN AT THIS LOCATION!!! Alina Pastoriza Garcia, ARPN-NP-C of UM was the rudest most condescending practitioner I have ever come across! After NOTICEABLY sitting in the waiting area for almost 45 minutes she turned me away @ 7:15pm even though I was the only one waiting (the clinic closes at 7:30pm) and proceeded to argue about why she couldn't see me for the next 15 mins which she could have used to diagnose me. Not to mention, she called her supervisor who was supposedly @ a church function (again time wasted during which she could've quickly seen me) and lied about how crowded the waiting area was and why she needed to close due to patient volume when I was the only person waiting. I am a nurse myself so I understand we all have bad days but on my worst day I would never treat one of my patients the way that she treated me!!! I would have even been okay with a fake apology for overlooking the fact that I was in the waiting area and listening to my symptoms (would have taken no more than 2 minutes) and perhaps directing me to the pharmacy to find something that could help until I could be seen the next morning. BUT instead she was a nasty ______ (u fill it in...lol) and pointed at the wall to her mounted picture and yelled "My credentials are right there!!!" (which is why I have every letter of them by her name above!) Worst experience ever she could really use some humbling and a personality restoration!! read more

First of all I had to wait 1 hour 45 min because I was unable to sign in online. I thought it might be because they were closing for lunch in 10 min so I decided to show up early and try to be there first when lunch was over. Well when I get there 3 people are in front of me and 2 still haven't checked in. So that's why I had to wait bit don't know why it would not allow me to sign in. Then I saw Caitlin Bowen a Nurse practioner. She had a student with her. Neither of them told me ahe would be in there or introduced themselves. I proceeded to tell my symptoms and that earlier that week I had brought in my son for sinus infection and possibly flu. He did not have flu but was diagnosed with sinus infection and put on antibiotic. Not by Ms Bowen however. I proceeded to tell her I also took my grandson to the doctor for croup 2 days before and he also had strep. My symptoms were the same as my son's. I feel sure I have a sinus infection. Caitlin Bowen said nithing was wrong with me but I did have fluid behind both wars. When she gave me my papers to leave there was incorrect information on it and answers to questions SHE DID NOT EVEN ASK ME. I found her to be a really bad nurse practioner and maybe that's why she's at CVS I don't know but she could be dangerous if left to treat patients. She obviously doesn't know what she is doing. She proceeded to inform me that just because my grandson has strep and I am in the same room with him that I wouldn't get it. I informed her HE IS 4. That's a bit different than just being in the room. A child doesn't understand not to cough in my face or not give kisses. She just turned around and continued to type on the computer. Yes by rhis time I just wanted away from her and I don't think her student even smiled or spoke to me the whole time except when she took vitals. read more

I was a bit skeptical at first, but they do an excellent job. The nurse practitioner was pleasant, effecient and thorough. We were traveling when my son got sick. They ran a flu test, a strep test, did all the vitals and asked good questions. She recommended all the necessary care for my son and covered prevention for the rest of the family. Much later in the day I was back at CVS for more supplies and she enquired about my son when she saw me. read more
