Great service and timely care! I got there as soon as they opened to not have a crazy wait and that paid off. The dr saw what I had done to splint my finger and said I did the right thing. I don't live in Miami and my insurance didn't work with them so I asked if I could wait to get anything xrayed until I got home and the dr got it. The staff and MA where amazing but the doctor walks in and asks if I'm sure about what I think I have (ofcourse I say yes, who is going to want to strip or anything for someone if given the chance not to in a stressful situation). He was older maybe there's no internet where he's from? Will leave the 5 stars because to err is human...but the nurse forgot to send the prescriptions the doctor ordered :( I'd like to address the review by Armando. Patients should not go into a doctor's office or urgent care and say they know what they have and expect them to provide treatment without the doctor performing an exam themselves. Awesome place! I was there yesterday for pre-surgery clearance and was seen immediately and had every test done promptly! Everyone I saw was professional and extremely happy to do their jobs. I just moved to the Miami area and I don't have a GP, and I will always return to MD Now. I was at the Pinecrest location. I didn't even feel the needle when my blood was drawn! Really clean and hygienic facility. Doctors are great however, every time I go there's never a receptionist at the front desk. They're great but when you're not feeling well the last thing you want to do is sit and wait for 10 minutes unfortunately I've walked out once before and gone to Baptist down the street. :( read more

I went for a second visit 3 days after my injury since MdNow doctor advised to come back three days later. After waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes I saw a young PA (different than first visit doctor). She did not put any gloves on and assess me. No differential diagnosis, no palpation, no questioning about symptoms, and no treatment other than a piece of paper. She was nice and kept apologizing but in my opinion ineffective. So why even bother seeking treatment from a facility that didn't resolve anything? read more

Honestly, the staff is amazing & the care is exceptional. I was in and out quick. The doctor was so friendly and made sure I was taken care of. I went into the urgent care with difficulty breathing and The nurse was so amazing, she gave me an inhaler and passed by a couple of times to make sure i was fine. Staff was nice but doctor couldn't do anything for me, payed money just to hear what I already new and doctor to tell me that I have to go to ER. Agreed to do some test(bloodwork) there. nurse couldn't even find vein and was going to try again-to stick needle in same vein. So I just left. It's not her fault but they should train their workers better, they are responsible for people's health. Went to ER had to pay again to get adequate service. read more

So I'm pretty sure that the MD stands for mediocre doctors. I've come to this place two or three times and every time I go they literally cannot do anything for me. One time I went there to get a prescription filled(it was just thyroid medication, not a controlled substance like pain medicine)and they interrogated me about why I needed the medication like I was going to sell it in a dark alley or something! I will never go back, I'd rather suffer than be "treated" by these people. Btw, they sent me a bill 6 months later for $240 even though I paid at the time of the visit. read more

I visited MD Now because of vertigo. The clinic, at 12301 S. Dixie Highway is beautiful, clean and seemingly well staffed. It wasn't busy. I was welcomed and was comfortable with the surroundings. I felt reassured and confident with how I was assessed and treated. I felt helped. It's a shame, because it was quite a good experience, that did not correlate with the discharge note. Later, when I read my discharge note, sent by email, the diagnosis we discussed, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), was not listed. Dizziness and giddiness, hypertension and dehydration were the listed diagnoses with the recommendation to follow up with a neurosurgeon within 2 days. I did have dizziness, my blood pressure was elevated and I was dehydrated, but there was no discussion of seeing a neurologist, surgical or otherwise. Also, I could not find a doctor's, technician's or nurse's name on my discharge note. The people that saw me wore no readily readable identification, so I'm not sure now if I was seen by a nurse, technician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or an MD or DO, or a combination of, or none of the above. I have fever of 100.8 just walked in at 1:30 pm and the lady told me she could not take care of me since not accepting walk-in. They open until 4 pm and nowhere in their site states a predetermined time they no longer accepting patients. I had to drive feeling horrible with fever to the one she sent me to.. definitely no consideration for patients who are sick!! Never coming here again! read more

When it comes to inhumanity and heartlessness I must ask.. Can I put no stars? I was experiencing pain in my right foot and my right hip near my tail bone. I went in and the triage nurse seemed like she was having a bad day.. very dry and straight to the point, no big deal. The doctor comes in and I explain that my pain radiated from my heel all the way up to my hip/tail bone and he laughed and said well would you like a shot for pain? And I was on an empty stomach so I asked "I haven't eaten anything at all, will I feel nausea?" (Basically asking what can I expect from the shot) And his response was "Well its a shot. It doesn't go in your stomach. ::sarcastic laugh:: . To a person in pain, this response is really frustrating. So fineeee, I give the place a third try with the xray tech. That's when I lost it. She told me to sit on the xray table and swing my feet over (no help at all) cool. Then she tells me bend your knee up so I go to lay down and bend my knee, since shes not giving me much instruction.. and she's like no where are you going?? Scoot forward and sit up! And I'm getting frustrated between her attitude, lack of instruction, and the pain in my tailbone from sitting on that wooden table. So I looked at her after I correctly positioned myself and I said "Did the doctor say anything about my tailbone/hip pain?" And She's like "I don't look at your chart, I'm just the tech." And I was like "Wow okay but if he had asked for an xray of my hip then you wouldn't know?" And it was all this back and forth like a child rebutting every question I had. So she goes "Well lets take you back to the room so he can reexamine you because I don't want to do this back and forth." and I get off the table again no help, my shoe, sock, and brace are on the floor and she watched me struggle to get it. That's when I said "Nope, I want to leave." and she was in shock! Asking me why. I was like this is just ridiculous between your attitude and the Drs sarcastic remarks, I don't want to stay here. So my family and I left. I can't comprehend how people in the medical field could be so heartless. read more

Excellent place. Extremely quick, personable staff and physicians. Went in for what i thought was a perforated ear drum as a result of my stupidly putting a q tip in my ear. Ended up being ear wax clogging the ear drum and underwent an ear lavage which resolved it. Loved the doctor and his paramedic, nurse! In and out within 60 minutes and I can HEAR NOW! Always will go to this facility with small issues. read more

The people in the office were really nice and friendly. The doctor seemed to be informed. But when I went though to pick-up my prescription, CVS said they never received it and asked me if I went to an MD Now clinic because this happens regularly. I was leaving town the next day and the clinic was closed, so I had to go without the prescription, which was extremely annoying. read more

My son and I are very sick and we walk in, hoping to be seen. The woman sitting at the front desk was not friendly. We were told if we didn't pay 20% of the cost of the visit (as per my insurance coverage) right then, we couldn't be seen. This policy is horrible considering people don't expect or plan on getting sick. Not everyone has the money in hand. To deny service, as an Urgent Care center, is horrible. We went to Baptist Health Pinecrest and was treated promptly- without any discussion of monies needing to be paid NOW. read more

The service is good but they don't run your insurance on the spot so when a month goes by you receive this insane bill. Usually they run your insurance while your being seen and they let you know what your co-pay. If you need to get an X-ray, please do not go to the urgent care in Pinecrest off of US1. do not waste your time or your money, Go somewhere else! I went for a simple chest X-ray, the X-ray technician was incompetent... I'm not even sure if she's licensed. She had to make several phone calls to get instructions on how to set up for the X-ray. After several tries, she was still unsuccessful. I ended up living the urgent care without the X-ray taken, and a $65 co-pay that has not been refunded until this day. I wish I could give them no star! I even spoke to the manager of that Urgent Care, she promised she would get back to me but never followed through. That is professionalism at its best! read more

The MD Now Urgent Care in Pinecrest is beautiful and clean, but most importantly, the wait time is minimal. I waited for maybe 5 minutes to see a doctor and he had me in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. The staff is friendly and very professional. It beats going to Urgent care or the Baptist ER where the wait time can be hours and the people are so rude, including the doctors. I highly recommend MD Now Urgent Care. read more
