An X-ray was taken and his opinion was a torn rotator cuff. He said Dr Fernandez didn't do rotator cuffs and referred me to another specialist which took yet another month + to set up an appointment. I'm confused about the reason for the referral as Dr Fernandez's website specifically states that he does rotator cuffs. ???

For the first time the extent of my problem was measured. My ability to move my arm was severely limited. Diana, my therapist, was very frank with me. My therapy would be long and painful...she was right. I have only done three weeks of therapy and I'm seeing significant improvement. She measured again and was pleased with my progress. I will continue. I'm impressed by the cleanliness of their facility and the friendly staff that greats me when i arrive.

Our experience with the physical therapy service was horrible and incredibly frustrating. The staff was always friendly and pleasant, but kindness does not make up for the lack of results. My husband came close to needing another surgery to remove the scar tissue that had built up in his knee. Facing that possibility after two months of therapy was extremely disappointing. We expected care that would help him move forward in his recovery. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place.

Very disappointing first experience with FMG Medical Group - Dadeland office. Today was my first…read morevisit as a new patient. I arrived at 9:00 a.m. and was placed in an exam room by 9:15. After waiting another hour, I was finally told that the doctor would not be coming in today. My time was completely wasted. If a doctor is unavailable, patients should be notified as soon as possible. Being checked in, taken to an exam room, and left waiting for an hour before learning that I would not be seen reflects terrible communication and poor coordination. Patients make arrangements and set aside time for these appointments. Our time deserves respect. I understand that unexpected situations happen, but that does not excuse leaving a patient waiting without an update. As a new patient, I expected professionalism, clear communication, and basic consideration. Instead, this visit left me frustrated and with very little confidence in how this office is managed. FMG Medical Group needs to improve its cancellation procedures and communication with patients.

At 11:45 we left after being told that the waiting proom INSIDE Still had 7 unseen people with the same appointment time with the same doctor. I realize appointments frequently take longer than expected and running late is not uncommon. I think we should have been told at 9:30 that we were facing at least 4 hours in the waiting room. Rescheduled for next week but I am gonna try to set up up an appointment with doctor I've been to. This was not an auspicious start. Since I am a runner, having it tore was not an option. I needed to get it fixed. I went to UHZ medicine and met with a doctor first, cannot recall his name and he sent me to Dr. Yagnik... Dr. Yagnik is amazing!!!!! One of the best out there, if not the best. I got my ACL surgery with him and of course I am the 1% who gets an infection after surgery he had to go in there again to save the graft they put in. Dr. Yagnik was so concerned and was checking up on me the whole time! I truly recommend him! His assistant Dr. Lopez is also great! The entire staff at the South office and Coral Gables office had been fantastic!

Was hung up on, transferred to other departments, left plenty messages on everybody's line, and still no call back. I have been put on hold for over 5 minutes, only to later be hung up on. I cannot review their medical professionalism as I've never had the chance to deal with them. But their office team, in their phone manners, is about the worst I've ever seen or spoken to. IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING URGENT BUT NOT THREATENING ENOUGH FOR EMERGENCY, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.
