Dr. Badell is a surgeon; perfect since my husband laceration required staples. He explained everything from procedure to aftercare clearly. The facilities where top notch cleaner and newer than any hospital ER. The exam room was spacious and fully equipped. At first on my visits were good the amount of time can take 1-2 hours with only one 2-3 people on the waiting room which is amazing. Now on my last visit the Male doctor I don't know just come and says that I'm all good that don't need I doctor with a very rude attitude like I was injured a month ago and taking physical therapy obviously I got better but like wow I'm amazed never been through this with the other female doctor that check on me and was very gentle with my leg. read more

I have been waiting 2 hrs to get a drug test done and a varicellla vaccine. And I was just told to wait another 35-40 mins. When I came in there were only 3 people in here. This is worse than going to chi. The only reason why I'm waiting is because I need it for work. They are off to lunch with no end in sight. BTW you cannot make an appt. I thought I had pulled a muscle when moving something heavy, but after a week it had gotten worse not better, to the point I had limited mobility and so much pain I couldn't sleep well, I decided to go get a check up. I was checked in quickly, the wait was minimal. Front staff was efficient, and the nurses were friendly enough to banter. The Physician Assistant took a very perfunctory exam and was ready to send me home with some ointment and ice pack. I explained that the pain had gotten worse and more extensive, and she brushed it off saying, well, muscles can take weeks to heal. Finally, to get rid of my hypochondriac whining, she suggested that she could schedule me for one or two physical therapy sessions, as some people find that massaging helps with the pain. In all honesty I had done a lot of massaging at home which didn't help, but I am never one to turn down a massage. Rika the physical therapist was an angel. She listened to me, like a good healthcare professional should, examined my shoulder and arm, and told me that I had somehow yanked a bone out of place (!!!!) She said, (same as what I told the PA), a muscle pain would not extend to hurt on my neck and shoulder and down to my forearm. She proceeded to press hard here and there, like a chiropractor, to get things back in place and wow the relief was immediate. I finally felt good after over a week. Over the next few weeks she continued with more sessions to help me fully recover. So, Rika the therapist is awesome, and you can make appointments to see her directly if you need physical therapy. The staff is nice and helpful. But what counts most - a competent physician - is a total fail, hence one star. If not for the therapist who correctly diagnosed me, I probably would still be popping painkillers and hurting too much to write this review. read more

I've sat here waiting for more than 2hrs just to do an employment drug test and N95 fit test. Explain to me why I have to wait this long just to pee in a cup and put on a mask. This location is the best. It gets busy but the staff does a fantastic job with accommodating all the patients! I come here to get all my pre employment stuff done. Mara the lady in the front desk is always so helpful, professional and quick with whatever she's doing. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything gets done. If you don't have an appointment then don't go to this urgent care if you feel really sick. I came on a weekday relatively early and I sat in the waiting room for two hours until they saw my gf. So far she waited 30 plus minutes for the doctor to come in. Next time I would go Baptist urgent care. Way faster. -update: spoke to a guy who has been waiting here for almost two hours and he's here for a drug test. All you need to do is pee and leave. This is unbelievable. I'm also not impressed with the front desk guy asking this guy medical history in front of everyone. I wouldn't feel comfortable with this. Some of the questions are personal as fuck. I have no idea where the good reviews come in here! All those great Employees that use to work here to make a good experience must have left. This place is a joke. Wait time is ridiculous. They lie say you can't make an appointment. When people walk in an say I have an appointment and get attend right alway. If you have a drug test be prepared to wait a long time without peeing. If you have to pee they will make you use the public bathroom, give you a bottle of water and tell you don't worry by the time we call you in you should have to pee again, because they are so "busy". Guess what ...if you do that it makes your urine will be considered Diluted and you will have to come back. I've been here about 3 times thinking my next experience will be better but it's not. Even if you come in at 8 am you will be waiting a long ass time. They have no excuse in the am the room is empty they are not dealing with COVID patient. I feel bad for people who come here and are actually hurt and in pain. It's so sad to see then wait here for so long. Of course people are happy when they see the doctor. The doctor gives you medication and your a step closer of going home. The two young ladies in the front take most of the heat the girl with glasses is over it and has no Compassion. I truly feel she's in the wrong field. I'll do anything I can to avoid going to the doctor, less alone urgent care; however, over a long holiday weekend, I was in some stomach pain (post third world country travel) and wanted help ASAP. I was happy to see only a couple people waiting when we walked in but still ended up waiting about an hour to be seen. I'm used to long waits at doctor's offices so wasn't too bothered. What did bother me was the overall attitude of everyone working there from the front desk to the doctor I saw. I don't know if it's because they weren't happy to be working over the long weekend but I'm sure they're used to working funny hours... The front desk person couldn't really explain my insurance benefits to me or simply didn't want to, the nurse didn't want to bother taking my weight, and the doctor's prescription was basically to see if I feel better in a couple days and if not, go to my regular doctor (and I ended up at my normal doctor a couple days later for real treatment). It was really discouraging after taking a couple of hours out of my day to hopefully get some sort of answer, all to walk away with nothing but frustration. They called a couple of hours later for a diet recommendation to maybe ease the pain, which I can only imagine they Googled after I left. Overall, I was hopeful upon walking in as it seemed like a nice place in a good area; however, I won't be returning. read more

I had the misfortune of needing urgent care services a couple of times at the end of last year and this looked like a good bet. It's a nice looking office. There are a lot of people on staff, but somehow, even when there are only 2 or 3 people in the waiting room, it takes forever to be seen by a doctor. The receptionists always seem to think it'll be 10 or 15 minutes, but then you're there for 45 minutes. Worse than that, once you finally get inside and a nurse takes your vitals, you wait just as long for the doctor. The phone service in there is awful so you can't even entertain yourself on your phone, you just have to sit there waiting for the doctor to finish the friendly conversation he has going on next door. That's another thing, the walls are paper thin in the patient rooms, so if you care a lot about your privacy, try another urgent care. I saw a couple of different doctors there over my few visits. They were adequate; I wouldn't really complain or rave about the care. What really earns a one star review from me has to do with lab work. For most people with insurance, a visit to urgent care incurs a flat co-payment fee for whatever services are rendered. In fact, most urgent care centers have a flat fee "menu" of services for those that are uninsured. You are supposed to pay what you expect to pay. However, at Concentra, I had the misfortune of needing lab work the few times that I went. Unbeknownst to me, their lab analysis was not done in-house. It was sent out to be done by either Quest or LabCorp. Now, my insurance card clearly states that my participating lab is LabCorp. But twice after my visits, my labs were sent to Quest. To my anger and confusion, several weeks later, I received a bill from Quest. Thus began the saga that followed my urgent care visits. After I got the first bill, I called my insurance company and they washed their hands of the matter. So I called Concentra, about a dozen times... Every time I asked to speak to a manager, they would send me on to someone different and I would explain my situation and they would tell me they would take care of it, but in the end, my bill was still sitting there unpaid. Finally, after a few weeks, they called and took responsibility for the first bill. When I got a second bill for the same problem, I tried to get ahold of the manager again and once again, explained my situation. Thereafter, everytime I called, I was told she would get back to me when it was taken care of. After waiting a couple of weeks, I decided my wasted time was not worth the $40 Quest bill or the possibility that it would be sent to collections, so I paid it myself. But what is worth my time is sharing my experience so it doesn't happen to others who may incur larger charges because of the same sloppy work. There is no excuse for this. If your job is to send patient labs to the correct place, you can't just take a 50/50 chance and send it wherever you want. But that's the kind of inconsiderate, shoddy bullshit you can expect to get at Concentra. After you spend 3 hours of your afternoon waiting to see a doctor, that is. read more

Dr John Has surrounded himself with a great team of nice, caring and friendly staff. You can see the staff working and coordinating tasks together because you are not in a closed waiting room with a sliding window. The staff is right out there with you giving you updates and watching that everyone gets seen ASAP. That is even before going in and being seen by very down to earth professionals that have always been correct and explained their diagnosis very well. You won't find this type of affordable care anywhere else. They are a definite 10/10 read more

I have to give one star to be able to comment, but the last two necessary visits at this clinic have not been pleasant. First visit, last Friday for a titer blood sample and a vaccine after 35 minutes waiting I was told that because the 4th of July holiday (long weekend) the titer can NOT be run on a holiday....that i have to come back. Then today arrived at 8:55 am, did paper work and wait, wait at 9:37 asked the "front desk employee" how long will take she answer "you are next" and pointed at a folder, but my patient folder was not even done at that point, at 9:52 asked again and then she printed the consent for treatment and vaccine questionnaire and finally did the "folder" and went to another employee (medical assistant) in blue scrubs and told her my complaints and that second person in a very unprofessional, inappropriate aptitude open the folder and said. "Well, she had to wait i have another patient" and basically dropped, through it in a pocket.... With those two employees unethical aptitude I felt disrespected as a patient and a customer, no other choice that complain to them about the unnecessary wait and leave the clinic with no desire to go to this place ever and of course not recommending anyone to go there!!!!! read more

I came here on a Saturday about 15 minutes after they opened. There were about 2 people waiting to be seen when I arrived. I wrote my name down on the clipboard and waited 15-20 minutes for someone to call my name. The receptionist called my name and I provided her with the paper work my employer gave me for the drug test I came for. Between this time, the 2 people were called in to be seen and I was alone. People slowly trickled in after 30 minutes and I still did not get called. I waited an hour before asking why it is taking so long. She told me everyone had appointments and I had 2 people ahead of me. This confused me because at one point I was the only one in the lobby and no people with appointments were here. as I am writing this, I have waited a total of 2 hours and still have yet to be seen. There are about 10 people here all with appointments. So I guess I will have to wait until 3 pm to be seen when all appointments have been taken care of. Also, I would like to point out that this is a drug test and I have to wait to use the restroom, which is not an easily task. read more

Love this place! Just recently found this place after looking for a walk in clinic that took my insurance and I'm happy it was them! They have weekend hours! So I went on a Sunday around 12 and I was the only one in there, I got seen and taken care of within 30 minutes and the best part? Everyone there understood what I was saying because they all spoke perfect English which is nice for us Miami dwellers who don't speak Spanish (I know we're far and few between) the doctor was amazing! I called for a note and I had to call multiple times a day to try and get one, just for the doctor to say he wouldn't write me one. It is a note, not a prescription, not anything extreme. It is a bit disappointing that while you are in the waiting area the staff member ask you in a loud voice "what are you here for ma'm?" ....... I wasn't there for anything major but just to get a PPD read. They asked the same to another young woman like myself and she answered her concern by standing up from her chair, and going to the desk to answer the question quietly for privacy. that's why I am giving only 3 stars. As a health care professional, I know privacy is important and I don't think it is professional to ask a patient what is their concern by yelling from the desk to the sitting area. Other than that, they do offer good service. The nurses there are professional and polite. And the doctor there is handsome. read more

I walked in at 9am on a Tuesday morning, and was in the waiting room less than 20mins before being seen by the DOCTOR, not a nurse, THE DOCTOR. Extremely thorough, helpful, kind people. The place was clean as could be! The biggest plus was that they all spoke English. Since moving to Miami I have bounced around from Doctor to doctor trying to find one that communicates clearly, and I've had zero luck. More than 2 hours wait. When I went inside the doctors office, still had to wait more than 30mins. The doctor was nice, quick to the point. Before leaving I paid everything I don't like people sending me bills to my house. After a couples of weeks, surprise!!! A bill came to my house, charging me of tests, that the doctor didn't do. I called directly concerta, and they gave me another phone number because they don't work with billing ( and they charged you before leaving the place, funny) still had to paid for random tests. Despite being seen fairly quickly last night, I did feel like I was rushed out since they were closing and in that haste they screwed up. Upon leaving I was supposed to have two antibiotics called in to my Walgreens, but when I went to Walgreens to pick up they had no record of my antibiotics. Nothing was called in. They even checked the system at all locations and since Concentra was already closed I had no one to correct the mistake. Now my pink eye has moved to both my eyes and I'm still suffering from my sinus infection. Because they failed to properly call in my antibiotics I've been in pain for an additional 15 hours and had another night with no sleep. Also, my family now has a higher chance of contracting my pink eye since I am contagious until 24hrs after starting the antibiotics. (Which I still don't have) This is one step in the process that they should have not rushed and been a little more thorough. I suggest double checking with your pharmacy before leaving. read more

Very convenient and easy way to get my son's ear ache checked. The front office was very nice even as my son was crying, and they even changed the TV show to a kid show without us asking. The wait was a little long, but there were a couple other people waiting and it looked like only 2 doctors. But when we got in, everything was great. The doctor was patient and spent time with us and wrote my son's prescription quickly. (Usually they call it in to the pharmacy but their internet and phones were down.) I usually go to the CVS minute clinic for these kinds of quick fixes for my kids, but I would definitely come back here again. read more

I have been going going to this urgent care center for a couple of years since I first found it., when I can't get an appt to see my primary care physician, I've have taken my child and referred my husband as well. It is very clean. I have never had to wait long, and the doctors and medical staff are all very friendly and caring. Well I was happy to find out I was not dying thanks to Dr. Badell but you could not have told me that before I got there. I was at work and for a few days I had some serious tummy pains and finally at work I could not take it anymore. So I raised the notches of being a drama queen and ran out of work like all life of humans depended on it and made my way to this urgent care. Check in was quick but when you are in pain everything feels like its taking a million hours. I had to pay up front before even seeing the Dr., most of the time you pay on the way out. Either way if it would make the Dr. see me faster I would have given them all of my credit cards. Four hours later the Dr. Badell had ruled out the major things like pregnancy or aliens growing in my tummy. He was very nice and whistled as he walked I have no complaints except maybe the wait time and cost. But I hope whatever the bill is it has to be better than what I would have paid at an ER. read more

This clinic is poorly run. There weren't too many patients, yet my wait was an hour and a half! While clean and shiny, the service and care is poor. I have yet to receive any news about the radiologist's report concerning my fracture. AVOID this one and go to the many other available clinics in the area! read more
