Worst urgent care ever. Very slow, nurse refused to do a flu test on me because she said I already had the symptoms, even though i asked for one bc I wanted to be sure. I was very cold and weak and they took ages to come and evaluate me. The doctor told me to do the test and the nurse came back to do it, again in an extremely rude attitude The test was supposed to take 15 min, the rude nurse of course made it longer and left me waiting. I visited their facility seeking medical attention and ended up wasting three precious hours of my day without ever receiving any treatment. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to bill me a whopping $288 for services that were never rendered! After three hours of waiting, I had enough and decided to leave without ever seeing a medical professional. It was evident that my health and well-being were not a priority for them. The fact that they thought it was acceptable to keep patients waiting for such an unreasonable amount of time is beyond comprehension. To make matters worse, a few weeks later, I received a bill from MD Now for $288, claiming I had received medical services during my visit. This was an outright lie, as I never received any form of treatment or consultation. It is nothing short of a scam to charge unsuspecting patients for services they never received. I urge everyone to think twice before considering MD Now for their medical needs. The sheer incompetence, disrespect for patients' time, and the willingness to charge for nonexistent services are utterly unacceptable. I will never set foot in their facility again, and I strongly advise others to avoid this clinic at all costs. I guess a velcro cast and verbal confirmation of no fracture over the phone a day later when pushed for a call back is OK for minimal Urgent care. But I will definitely pick another provider next time. I needed my wrist checked because of pain after two weeks The location has no Xray but that gave me a removable cast and told me that if I use their referral to their Pinecrest location (only 1-2 miles) to get the X-ray done same day. I would get feed back by the end of the day. I got that done around noon but got no feed back. I emailed in the evening via the MyHealth portal that was supposed to post results and also called in the next morning. Somebody called back later that second day indicating "no fracture, just stabilize". When I got an email from the app the next day that a message is waiting on the portal I checked the portal again. It was only tech support responding to my earlier inquiry about results stating that they don't give medical advice. No results were posted. No imaging data indicated. They basically collected a bunch of personal data and created a health file (all of that is now visible in their database that I see in the app) but they posted not a single word of response, the imaging, or anything related to the visit in their patient portal. Maybe if I had entered in one of their facilities that had x-ray on site, it would have been a better experience. But that does not explain the dismal portal experience and record keeping of the visit. read more

This place overcharges even if you have insurance. I have zero co-pay and they tried to charge me $70 claiming I have a surcharge; which I definitely don't. This was a nightmare. I had a laceration on my right index finger which I knew I had to get stitches. I have gone to the Jackson urgent care before to do basically the same procedure but instead I went to this one thinking it was the same. When I walked in I paid 150 out of pocket in order to be attended. When the doctor which her name is Dr. Camille Go M.D. ME 158048 NPI 1932723293 came to see me she sat down and asked me what happened. I told her my laceration is about an inch long maybe a little more and deep. I had cleaned it really well and made sure it was closed before I went to the urgent care so the bleeding had stopped. Automatically she said that I just needed about 2-3 stitches and some glue. I stayed quiet and said ok since she knows best which are my assumptions. When she was going to start the stitching she forgot to put anesthesia on my finger which she laughed a little (unprofessional) and went to another room to get what she needed. At this point I was in pain and I did not want to make a big deal about it so I said thank god you remembered. She injected me with a small needle about 10 times all over my laceration while doing this my cut upend up wide and I obviously started bleeding. She kept asking if I felt the needle and I said yes so she kept injected me. By this time I was getting frustrated. Finally a pet of my finger was a little numb so she started the procedure. I was bleeding so she did not do anything to stop the bleeding so I did not understand how she could see where she was doing the stitches. I honestly just wanted her to be done. I kept on bleeding and she put the needle of the stitch in a part of my finger that was not numb so i told her please that's hurting a lot and so she reversed and took it out. Meanwhile the other stitches that she did put which weren't accurate she asked me to help her old the thread on one end to assist her so she can make the knot. I was in miss believe but yet again I wanted it to all be over. Since she opened the wound by applying a bunch of anesthesia which was not strong at all the bleeding would not stop and I could see she was struggling. I could not take the pin any longer and the frustration so I asked her what the hell is going on. This is absurd. I ask her can you do the job correctly because I am in great pain and since we started it has been a red flag. I asked her if she knew what she was doing and she said that of course she was a doctor. Then she said if not you can go somewhere else and that's when i said I'm sorry but you started the procedure as a professional doctor you need to finish it. I just want this to be done correctly and go home. Again I'm still bleeding and helping her stitch me. Anyway she decided to stop and asked me to go somewhere else. She was not going to cover my wound and the bad stitching she made until i told her please patch me up because now I need to drive somewhere else ER to go through more pain etc. By this time I was in pain, bothered, in chock all the emotions. I asked the doctor to give me her full name and a report of all the injections she gave me. I went to the front desk to get the paper work and a refund since they did a horrible horrible job. I was now at this moment desperate because I had been there for almost 2 hours and I had to figure out where to go next. The doctor not once said sorry or came to me to recommend me personally where to go or anything. Basically I did not see her. They made me wait another 30 min because they did not want to give me a receipt stating I was getting a refund back of $149.00 dollars which they stated they will do so. I was now at that moment upset so I needed them to just give me what I needed and just go. Front desk and assistant came to me to tell me to calm down which I said I am now in pain and of course up set with this circus and at the same time I would apologize to them because i was frustrated. I kept waiting until the cops showed up. So now they not just stitched me up horrible and on top stopped working on my laceration but they called the cops. I explain to them exactly how I am exposing to this review and the cops could not believe me. They even said to me that they were sorry for what happened. If you have a child with an illness (congestion / fever) you don't always know when is the best time to seek professional care; struggling with the question whether to let the child's immune system fight it (the bacterial or viral infection) versus allowing western medical advancement in the form of a prescription relieve the illness; and / or perhaps if you are just seeking a sound medical opinion or advice. For us this question was answered when Mayla was irritable and fussy for three days straight with fevers spiking daily as high as 102-103. At 8 months old she is a magnet for all sorts of bugs, when she practically puts everything in her mouth, but now it was time to put an end to it. Mind you nights were not only a misery for her! We looked around for the closest Urgent Care and decided to go to MD Now in Pinecrest, which is one of the newest of 12 Miami Dade locations, where several physicians rotate through daily between the hours of 8a-8p. MD Now operates an additional 20 plus Urgent Cares in neighboring counties Palm Beach and Broward (see pictures with phone number and addresses). If you have insurance most likely all you need is to pay is a copay to come to MD Now. Nevertheless, it's going to be way less costly than an emergency visit at nearby South Miami Hospital! Samantha at the front desk was friendly and processed our insurance information and I was given a tablet to enter Mayla's information and to create an appointment. We arrived Sunday morning, the only patients in the office. There is complimentary water, a flat TV panel to watch news while you wait and the facility has a new and modern feel. Within 2 minutes of completing the appointment a nurse beckoned Nicole and Mayla from the reception to one of patient rooms to examine Mayla. The examination lasted 10 minutes and Mayla was given a prescription to the CVS which was 2 blocks north on the corner of SW 80th St and Dixie Hwy-also very convenient. The MD Now also hosts a billboard in the neighboring lot which posts the average wait time for customers needing urgent care. The time was 2 minutes which was very accurate. I give this place high marks for customer service and convenience. read more

MD Now should be called MD LATER . If you are to travel and need proof of Negative Covid, do not go here. They say it takes 48 to 72 hours (which is longer than many other places); however it takes a lot longer than 72 hour. So, if you looking for a place that can confirm results within 24-48 hours, i would go there instead here. I expected better since they actually charge a lot of $$$ to insurance companies for covid tests. read more

If i could give it zero stars i would. I came to this location feeling very ill (ultimately after going to South Miami hospital i learned i had the stomach flu) and the staff was terrible. The greeter didn't know how to work the iPad to register me. He gave me the iPad unlocked and told me to figure it out and fill it out. Obviously that didn't happen. Then i had to wait for some lady to return from break to be able to register me. After more than 20 minutes registering me, i was taken in to one room. Knowing i was dehydrated and feeling awful, they made me move rooms so that their beyond incompetent nurse assistant could start an IV. Except that when she tried to do it, she couldn't get my vein. I have NEVER ever had an issue with my veins, and later on at the hospital they started an IV extremely quick and had no problem finding my vein. This "nurse" poked and prodded me so many times i immediately started bruising. It was painful and overall an awful experience. After this lady couldn't get my vein to start an IV and i told her I've never had issues, she got offended and refused to treat me. SHE LITERALLY REFUSED TO START AN IV ON ME!!!! She knew i was dehydrated and at a bare minimum had a stomach bug as i had been throwing up all day. (All information which she knew) Naturally, i asked for the doctor to give me the IV since her incompetent nurse wouldn't help me. The doctor said she WASNT ALLOWED TO START AN IV ON ME. As in only the nurse was "by some rule" allowed to do it. Let me repeat that THE DOCTOR WOULD NOT START AN IV ON ME OR HELP ME! The nurse had the worst attitude and was offended at her inability to start an IV. The doctor was ok, but had no control over her staff and fell below the standard of care that one expects at medical facilities like this. She also never mentioned the possibility of me having the flu. If it was up to her she would have left me with a stomach bug and called it a day. This was by far the biggest and waste of time and i have never seen such incompetency at an urgent care or any medical facility. read more

If you care for your child, take him elsewhere. Took my two year old to be seen as he hasn't been able to sleep due to coughing and fever for a few days now. As parents we were shocked to see our son sidelined for the doctor to see an adult who apparently had priority over our son since he was bleeding a little bit. We were asked to go to another location. A waste of our time, and criminally negligent behavior, patients should not have such priority over another, especially a baby. If one's injuries are so grave, go to the emergency room. People at the front desk are a waste of vital organs, showed no empathy or desire to assist. read more

MD Now takes my insurance, so visits are inexpensive, but the website gives the false illusion that you can make an appointment. When I came in this morning with an appointment, the receptionist said the appointments are meaningless; the location doesn't honor them and never has. She said people have complained about this but the company has done nothing. I appreciate her honesty but am pretty furious about the false advertising. (The website indicated multiple appointments free this morning, but in fact we are looking at an hour wait, minimum.) read more

I went to this location bec I was scratching myself to death for weeks. Using random OTC medicines were not working so I went to this brand new pristine location. Check in was great and very efficient with a lovely coordinator. The nurse was very nice and the MD had me fixed up and out the door in 10 minutes with 3 RXs waiting for me at my local CVS. Completely paperless. Will be back! Skip the ER and go here! read more

I went in with abdominal pain and had blood work done. I was told if results came back abnormal and essentially with a diagnosis I would be called and and they would explain my results for a second copay payment of $75. I was called a couple days later and told my results were in and my results were abnormal. I was told by the the 2 doctors I saw in the second visit that it really shouldn't have been marked as abnormal and they had no answers to why I was having the pain and advised me to make an appointment with a gastro. I essentially paid $150.00 for absolutely no answers. read more
