I drove all the way there to get there when they opened only to be told they don't take kids under 2. I politely asked if there was a way she could give feedback to the company to update their website as their website does not say that anywhere. She looks straight at me and just says, "no". So either this company doesn't care enough about its employees to actually take feedback (red flag) or its employees don't care enough about the community they're supposed to serve (also red flag). It's not that hard to update your website to let people know that you DON'T in fact do pediatric care for all kids.

The site confirmed my appointment for 2pm today and I was all prepared to see a doctor. I filled in all the details of my insurance beforehand so if there was a problem with my insurance, I thought I would be alerted before coming. However, when I arrived and checked in I was told that my insurance is not accepted there. I was flabbergasted because what is the point of having your insurance go through online if it will just be rejected when you show up in person? Why did nobody from the office call me beforehand to let me know my insurance wasn't accepted? Why did the website let me proceed if they don't take Horizon? It's truly disgusting to give someone an appointment, tell them to come in, and then deny them care when they show up. I took off work to see a doctor today. CityLife should be ashamed of this practice. I would like to speak with someone from the management side of the clinic about this issue. Based on the other reviews, I'm sure the care they offer inside is fine, but to have people show up and turn them away is truly a sick thing to do. The injection site seemed a bit unusual (please see the attached picture), and later became inflamed, red, and swollen. I am planning to travel to Africa soon, and the doctor mentioned he would prescribe medication for traveler's diarrhea. However, when I went to the pharmacy, they gave me a prescription for malaria (something we had not discussed) and did not receive the Z-Pak prescription for traveler's diarrhea from the doctor's office. Once you get the a very profesional and caring receptionist takes your name and your copay. 5 minutes later you are taken into a room and the person who takes you in proceeds to get the information about your visit. The dr. comes in 2 minutes later. Notice I say the DR. not THE PROVIDER. I needed X-rays the technician came in right away my expectations for the report time were set , 15 minutes. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Great profesional and caring service. Please do not go to CitiMD if you value your time and you want a profesional service. I went to AFC urgent care in lyndhurst.  What a waste of money! I wish I could get a refund for my $75 copay.  I clearly discussed my symptoms with the doctor.  I had a cough, fever, aches in my thighs, and I explained the crackling sounds when I lay down. I also told her that 10+ years ago I had bronchitis and another time I had a pneumonia.  Using the stethoscope she reassured me that my lungs were clear. (No xray) She said I had allergies and prescribed an allergy medication. After that visit I did not feel any better. In fact I felt worse. Two days later I went to my primary physician and he immediately heard the rattling sounds in my lungs and detected a pneumonia and sent me for Xrays. I got my results and my primary physician was right. He prescribed antibiotics, prednisone, and a cough medicine. Misdiagnosing a patient is unacceptable. I am not happy with AFC. I want a refund!
