I could not do that to this beautiful animal. We had been turned away from another facility when the Pet Lodge in Lyman recommended USDT&B. I called, they said "bring her on in". They welcomed her with open arms. Such a Godsend. We have only just begun her stay at this beautiful facility, and have already begun getting her report cards. I am so grateful and feel quite confident that we will be able to keep her in our home upon her "graduation "! Thank you, USDT&B! PS- I had taken her to the vet and she had received all shots before arriving at USDT&B.

I have been a loyal client since when they small. And when the aunt was still alive. Since her passing apparently it's gone to crap. If you are worried about a 16yo dog maybe being too much you should reconsider being a groomer and at least make sure to put a muzzle on every dog. I am very disappointed in the grooming service here. My poor baby is traumatized from the experience. They did me so wrong it's not even funny. The groomer was obviously aggressive with dog and not patience at all is why she couldn't finish. I've heard horror stories about this place but always defended them. Nope not anymore, Very poor service!!! THE END....period

Pup In A Tub provides excellent dog grooming services but also has self-wash tubs that provide a…read moreconvenient, cost-effective way to wash even very large dogs if you want to wash your own pup. The owners are kind, friendly, and caring. When I took my 10 year old chocolate Lab in for a nail trim, they opted to file his nails since the quick was close to the end of his nails and they didn't want to risk any discomfort. They took the extra time and effort it takes to file nails instead of using the quick & easy clippers, putting my dog's comfort first. I decided to wash my Lab myself while I was there. The large, elevated stainless steel tubs have walk-up steps that make it easy for older dogs to get in and out and they are a real back-saver! They have an adjustable sprayer and a dispenser with an assortment of shampoos and conditioners that really make washing your dog easy. The owners gave me some tips and a scrubber that did a great job of working the shampoo into that thick water-repellant Lab coat and my dog didn't mind it at all. The owners showed me how to wash my dogs face using a blueberry facial and my dog just loved the extra attention. When you're done rinsing, they have blowers so you can blow-off extra water to help dry your dog more quickly. They also provide aprons and towels. If you need a careful, attentive dog groomer or just want to give your dog a quick bath yourself, I highly recommend Pup In A Tub.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I can not stress this enough. The prices on the website are not even a guideline…read more I was told when I made the appointment that it would be $110 for my dog. After he was cut I was told that it was $140. When I asked why the price went up the answer was simply "because it's $140". When I showed the owner the price online ($110) she stated that "Those are old prices". I told her that's not how online prices work and you need to honor that price. Her response (unbelievably) was "The price is $140". After a back and forth I gave her $120 just to get my dog. After I left the other owner (a man) called and SCREAMED at me. During this he called me (and I quote) "A white piece of shit". And that if he had been there I would have been in trouble I never raised my voice or used profanity during the exchange and this was how I was treated. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Unleashed is the only bar of its kind in the area, and it does a good job with what it has! There is a small inside seating area with access to the bar as well as a larger outdoor area for pups to play. You order your beer/wine/spritzer (no liquor here) through a little window from outside. They usually have a rotating draft list of 10 or so beers and a few standard and domestic beers in cans. Unleashed has TVs outside and will usually be playing sports. They also have Trivia and Bingo nights during the week. But really, when there are dogs running around and playing, who needs any other entertainment? The owners and employees are great people with big hearts for man's best friend. They are attentive, making sure water bowls are refilled and often pick up the poop that owners may have missed. Most of the people who visit Unleashed are regulars and are very responsible about their dogs. You can also come if you don't have a dog! So everyone should go. You have no excuse. Unless you're not a dog person, and if that's the case, are you really a person at all?
