It is difficult to find that option as I live in Greenville- I rather bathe them myself as that is what they are used to since puppies.. Antonio was super helpful showing me the ropes of their bath facilities and assisting me in changing out my dogs from the car between their baths. The shop has all the supplies you need and the tubs were definitely big enough to fit my dogs comfortably one at a time - one pit bull and one Italian mastiff. It was very clean and tidy too.. DO NOT COME HERE. MY DOG GOT BOARDATELLA BECAUSE PUP IN A TUB DOES NOT CHRCK VACCINATION RECORDS. We have been here twice. The first time - our dog was dropped off at 8am and returned and groomed by 1. When we dropped our pup off, we were told 12 at the latest. When it was around 12, we called and they stated it would be another 2 hours because "my dog was being difficult during the bath". I was concerned when they said that because 1) I had to call three times for someone to give me an update on my dog and 2) my dog LOVES baths. All in all, our dog looked fantastic but we were annoyed with the lack of communication. The second time we were here will be the last. Our dog was dropped off before 8am. We picked her up at 4pm!!!!!!!! It is unreal that is would take 8 hours for a dog to be groomed when every other place and time we have gotten our dog groomed took 4 hours max. Furthermore, the groomers clipped my dogs nails too short. She was bleeding one day later after her walk, and it got all over the carpet. They never informed us of this. They also cut parts of her body too short causing irritation for over a week in certain places. Also, the next day, our dog started having upper respiratory issues. She was reverse sneezing and coughing and we were concerned for a while. Pup in a Pup does not check vaccination records of the dogs they groom and my dog ended up getting Boardatella. I just left here feeling like my dog was not cared for and stuck here all day unnecessarily. We will not be returning. We gave this business a second shot and they blew it. I do not trust this business and will never recommend it. read more

Great place for do-it-yourself dog wash. Had everything we needed to give our very large fur baby a top notch bath!

They do not tell you that your dog will simply have to wait in the back until the groomer has time to groom them. This is not okay with my dog who has extreme anxiety, as he does not do well separate in a unfamiliar place for hours on end. If we had been told this, we would not have brought him but were not informed until we called 6 hours later. Upon arrival to pick my dog up, the owner told me I could not have my dog until I paid, which I begrudgingly did. She then tried to tell me that my dog does not have anxiety, which he does as he is medicated for it. The groomer was extremely nice and understanding about this, but the owner was extremely rude. Now I have a completely terrified dog at home with a poorly done, half completed haircut. None of my dogs will be returning to this place, and I recommend the same. Also, while I was there the owner claimed to have camera footage disputing what I said, as if to threaten me if I spoke out against her. After I posted this review on Facebook, the owner commented a slip with my personal information on it, so that I was essentially forced to delete my review. read more

Love this place! My 11yr old Labrador got the best haircut she's had in a while. We usually shave her (she's a very fluffy dog) to help her with the heat. She's usually uneven and people don't pay attention to her skin tags. The groomer was great and my lab is very even! Will be bringing her back! read more

I can not being to describe how much this place has changed the way my dog gets groomed. My English springer Spanish was kicked out of various other places to get his hair cut because he was aggressive. I just moved up here and was hesitant that they would even be able to cut his hair. I brought his dogs sedation meds and warned them to mussel him. The groomer said she will work at his pace and if she needs those items then she will use it as a last resort. When I came to pick him up nervous that he caused issues and wouldn't be groomed, he was in fact shaved completely (0 all over as per my request) and looked amazing. The front desk lady advised me that she had to show me something on her phone, it was a video of my prior aggressive dog getting groomed without any issues or mussel. THEY HAVE A CLIENT FOR LIFE! If you want a place that even the dog can tell their true nature then this is your place. read more

I called on 12/29 to try to schedule nail trim appointments for my dogs. I was informed via whomever answered the phone that I could come anytime between 8:30 AM and 5 PM the next day. The following day I drove for 25 minutes to Pup in a Tub and arrived at 4:39 PM. When I entered the store, I was informed that they were not offering anymore services that day. I told them I called the day before and was told I could come anytime between 8:30 and 5, to which the response was "Our owner is gone, and we're just waiting for one lady to come pick up her dog." I said I wish I had been told that when I called the day before and then drove almost half an hour. I am disappointed that I was misinformed and wasted nearly an hour in drive time/gas. read more

The owners are kind, friendly, and caring. When I took my 10 year old chocolate Lab in for a nail trim, they opted to file his nails since the quick was close to the end of his nails and they didn't want to risk any discomfort. They took the extra time and effort it takes to file nails instead of using the quick & easy clippers, putting my dog's comfort first. I decided to wash my Lab myself while I was there. The large, elevated stainless steel tubs have walk-up steps that make it easy for older dogs to get in and out and they are a real back-saver! They have an adjustable sprayer and a dispenser with an assortment of shampoos and conditioners that really make washing your dog easy. The owners gave me some tips and a scrubber that did a great job of working the shampoo into that thick water-repellant Lab coat and my dog didn't mind it at all. The owners showed me how to wash my dogs face using a blueberry facial and my dog just loved the extra attention. When you're done rinsing, they have blowers so you can blow-off extra water to help dry your dog more quickly. They also provide aprons and towels. If you need a careful, attentive dog groomer or just want to give your dog a quick bath yourself, I highly recommend Pup In A Tub. read more
