But my golden loved going but he would constantly be soaking wet when I picked him up and I finally asked him why is he wet if he's indoors and they said he plays in the dog bowls and I asked them if it was possible to redirect him from not getting wet and they told me if I wanted that then he can play by himself. I also ended up getting my dogs vaccines done by a friend who owns a boarding place in wellford and then they would not let me take my dog back because it wasn't a vet that gave it to him but I had the vaccine file and proof and though I understand their concern- how the owner handled it was so rude. Basically told me it wasn't her problem that I can't bring him anymore. Good thing he won't ever be back anyways. And to add in a grooming tip- my golden had matted ears from playing so much in the water they let him play in every day - that he was getting yeast infections. I asked them to groom his ears and they shaved his ears. SHAVED THEM. He's a golden. My heart was shattered to see them mess up his coat like that. Definitely do not recommend.

Yesterday morning I called to schedule grooming appointments for our dogs. My first call went to a message stating they were either experiencing a high call volume or were closed. I called back 3 more times over the next couple of minutes, but no one answered. I had 2 meeting coming up and would not be available if I left a message After waiting about 10 minutes, I called again and someone answered. I heard "Hello" and that the call was being recorded. I asked if there were any grooming appointments available next week. The manager immediately responded by asking if I was the person who had just called multiple times. I said yes, and before I had a chance to explain that I was simply trying to get through to schedule an appointment, he told me that calling repeatedly was rude and that I would not be receiving any services from them. He then hung up on me. I was surprised by the response and attempted to call back twice to clarify that I was not trying to be rude, but my calls were not answered. Later, my wife called and spoke with the same manager. He stated that he was with a customer and that I should have known that repeatedly calling was rude. I had assumed this was a business line with multiple lines, but we later learned it is actually a cell phone, and I assume he doesn't know that you can silence them. My wife asked to have the owner contact her to discuss the situation, but more than a day later we have still not received a response. Based on this experience and the way the situation was handled, we will not be returning and unfortunately cannot recommend this business to others.

He is high anxiety and a little aggressive but the owners said it wouldn't be a problem at all and they took him with open arms! After we dropped them off, they spent time bonding with him and playing his favorite game, fetch. They took him for daily walks and played with him. They also sent us pictures and updates. I couldn't be more than happy! When we came to pick up our dog, he was happy to see us but now that he's home, I think he wants to go back! Overall, the owners were wonderful and sweet and took all of our concerns with our dog seriously. They went above and beyond to not only make us feel comfortable but our dog as well! Wanted to love dog culture and have a place to take my girls so they could play and socialize. I dropped them off for a behavioral assessment the first time and my pit mix failed, as she has an aggressive play style. We have been working for months to teach her to play better with all dogs and have socialized her a lot more since then. I brought both of them back for another assessment, explained to them they need a little time to acclimate to the new area and new dogs. Within NINE MINUTES, they called me to come pick her up and said she failed again. There was absolutely no effort on their part to try to give her a chance and acclimate and no knowledge of how dogs interact. If they had given her at least 30 minutes even, I would have been ok with the outcome but 9 minutes isn't enough to tell anything about a dog or their behavior in a new environment. It seemed as though they had a problem with her being a pitbull and saw her as a threat. I also watched the live cam at their Greenville location and they are completely overcrowded with way too many dogs in each bay. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

We love Happy Pup! Our pups have stayed there twice -- once for 10 days and another time for 6…read moredays. Lisa, one of the owners, is great at communicating both before and during our pups' stay. She's also great at meeting my husband and I and asking if we need help the moment we arrive. The indoor/outdoor shelter where our pups stay protects them from the elements and provides each of them with their own individual space. They are also given a long walk daily and provided a large area to play together. Every day, they are fed and given their medicine as prescribed. Our pups receive lots of attention and are happy to stay. Next time we need dog boarding services, we will return to Happy Pup.

I have been a loyal client since when they small. And when the aunt was still alive. Since her passing apparently it's gone to crap. If you are worried about a 16yo dog maybe being too much you should reconsider being a groomer and at least make sure to put a muzzle on every dog. I am very disappointed in the grooming service here. My poor baby is traumatized from the experience. They did me so wrong it's not even funny. The groomer was obviously aggressive with dog and not patience at all is why she couldn't finish. I've heard horror stories about this place but always defended them. They posted photos daily - so I never felt out of touch as to what was going on. At the end of our 14 days, we had a one on one training that has prepared me to continue growing my dog's new skills. Additionally, Biscuit was an aggressive barker at the door and when strangers walked past our house. Tara and her team turned Biscuit's behavior around in that 2 week period. They worked with the two dogs together. Biscuit follows the place command and no longer barks at the door. We are still working on the two dogs together. Tara and Lila have been to our house twice to help. It was a big investment. Now even my husband agrees it was worth it!
