This is the worst dentist experience I ever had. First off I called to make an appointment for a cleaning they told me it was 200.00 so I scheduled an appointment for me and my bf. We get to the dentist and it's a whole different story. They told me I needed all this extra stuff. They numbed my mouth with shots only for my mouth to still not be numb. My nose is numb but not my teeth. What sense does that make. So the hygienist was like oh I'm so sorry let me get him in here to give you another shot. I'm like really??!! He does another shot and still teeth no numb. All this to do a deep cleaning on my teeth. Also the "deep cleaning" does not include your teeth being cleaned or "polished" as they call it. They said I could not get my teeth polished until I came back another day to finish the right side of the deep cleaning because today I did the left side. Oh yeah and each side is 200.00 on top of the 140 that I paid for X-rays. So long story short my teeth still never got "polished" brushed whatever you want to call it. $340.00 later all I have is half of my teeth scraped and a numb face. They also promise free teeth whitening... well that's a lie as well because what they don't tell you is that you have to finish their recommended dental plan to even get the teeth whitening kit. The staff were horrible. Mint dentistry is a SCAM. Please save your money. read more

The process from start to finish has been so easy. I did our paperwork and uploaded insurance and ID cards online so when we arrived we had no paperwork. Immediately upon entry Johnathan made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. I had my cousins with me and he slowed them use of iPads and headphones so they wouldn't be bored while they waited for us to finish. Ebony, Chastity, and Dr. Chawla are fantastic and made the x-rays, exam and teeth whitening information so easy to understand. I used to dread going to the dentist but the staff here has completely changed my opinion and I look forward to future visits. read more

I am not an early bird so coming in to mint dentistry spring location with plenty of smiles and positivity from the front desk ladies, Bailey Lily, and Alex, made me feel super comforted. The customer service was phenomenal, as Chasitie helped answer any questions and ease any nerves before seeing doctor Murphy. Doctor Murphy made the best assessment for what I needed worked on, on my teeth. I did not have to worry about being talked into doing extra things; I was explained step by step each procedure by Kim and had the best experience with her. I absolutely would not recommend them. The radio advertisements are nice but when you call in its a different story. The receptionist with the calling service was really rude and then when I got transfered to the Spring location that receptionist was very unhelpful. The hours plainly state M-F but she tells me they're closed on Monday. When I said I guess I'll have to find another dentist she happily dismissed me. Never had this experience with scheduling a dental appointment and I'm rather disappointed. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This place is very unprofessional when it comes to appointments. I set an appointment over the phone a week before the date. I submitted all of my paperwork online two days prior to the appointment. My appointment was at 9:00am and I arrived at 8:50am to get a teeth clean and a simple check up. Alex the front desk associate was very rude and went back and forth with me telling me I was wrong that she left a voicemail and she particularly remembered my number and that my voicemail box was full. I checked my missed calls and didn't have 1 missed call. She kept saying well I called you personally so I know I'm right. But she is actually wrong because there is a difference in my voicemail box being full when my voicemail box hasn't even been set up yet. She told me I could stay but I have 4 patients ahead of me. There should be a more options as in no call/no show fees for future appointments, text confirmations, email confirmations instead of automatically canceling an appointment. Also there should have been an email sent that my appointment was cancelled before I drove 40 minutes to this location. This is poor quality and I will not be returning. read more

Normally, I don't write reviews, but after going to the Mint I had no choice. The staff are all friendly and the environment is nice. But, there my appointment was the longest I had ever been to a dentist office. I waited for over 30 minutes before being taken back for X-rays. the Dentist never directly spoke to me, instead she pulled up my X-rays on the screen and spoke to the assistant. Told her what to do and walked away. I had to inform her that I had a tooth which was also would need a root canal as well. But, nothing was said. All they did was do the bait and switch. We are going to do you a favor and lower your out of pocket cost to this amount for what you need done. Well I already knew the cost for my dental work if they would have done their job in the first place and verified my secondary insurance then the cost would have been 700.00 not 2890.00. So disappointed with the whole visit. I arrived at this visit at 2:00 pm and left at 6:00 pm. I had to find a new dentist and have everything done again. My cleaning was done very poorly. read more

Mint dentistry is a fraud!!!!! I have never had cavities in my life and I take excellent care of my teeth, so I was pretty shocked to find out I all of a sudden have 4! I got a second opinion from a family dentist and it turns out I don't have ANY cavities. They were very pushy about getting me to have all 4 fake cavities filled that same day. They seemed offended that I wanted to schedule for another time. I had an off feeling the whole time I was there and I'm so happy I went with my gut feeling. I was told that for every 5 Star review I leave, I will get a free whitening gel. So they are bringing people to help them get good reviews. He received one of the best dentist service that he kept raving about his experience! I finally booked my appt, and I couldn't be anymore satisfied with the service I received from Dr. Jimin & Dr. Chawla. They were quick yet kept informing me through every step to keep me comfortable. Their price is super affordable too! I was worried for a deep cleaning & 2 fillings, I was going to pay a couple hundred even after insurance, but I ended it paying ONLY $90! I wouldn't recommend mint dentistry. Only reason I gave it 2 stars because the front staff and hygienists were nice. It was a horrible experience for my mother especially since the doctor hit her mouth accidentally with his tool and made her bleed. Our first visit there, we spent all day at the office. We were there on time but had to wait around because there were issues with their system. Ok, I can understand system issues. Staff was very nice throughout it all. After cleanings, we needed fillings. Then before procedure can officially begin, one of their tools stops working and need to move the patient to another room. We think this will be a quick move, but had to wait around again for a room to clear up. My mom's mouth is already heavily numb by the shots given for the procedure but without advising her or anything, Dr. Ali comes and adds more shots even though her mouth is still heavily numb. At least let the patient know what the heck you're doing rather than just doing it and walking away. So just waiting around again. FINALLY dr. Ali comes and does her fillings. In the midst of those filings he somehow hits the bottom of her mouth right underneath her tongue with one of his tools. It was a hard enough hit That she felt the pain and tried to have him stop but he didn't and kept going disregarding the patients pain or request. He then tried to stop the bleeding somehow and once that was done, he got up and walked away. Said not one word of what he did or checked if the patient was ok. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous! After all that, we were finally able to go home after 5 hours. She had blood marks and felt pain for days after that. She had to come back for the remaining cleaning week after that and dr. Ali was supposed to apologize to the patient but he did not come at all to say anything to her and nor did anyone else at the facility. Thankfully my mom is ok but the way everything was handled was ridiculous. Dr. Ali needs some guidance on how to deal with patients especially if he's going to accidentally hit them in the mouth and it bleeds. Just saying. read more
