I think I died and went to heaven. lol. This is the best food I had in long time. I've been waiting for this restaurant to open and I had it bookmarked for quite some time. The food was out of this world. The Mofongo Bites were just simply delicious. The chicken on the Mofongo bites were cooked to perfection. The Sweet Chili wings were so delicious and crispy and I haven't eaten any wings that tasted that good in long time. The Rasta Pasta was so delicious that I almost dropped a tear. It was very creamy and so flavorful. Last but not least, were the delicious Jerk Tacos. The chicken on the tacos were cooked perfectly and just had so many flavors. The restaurant was very clean and I just love the interior design. It gave me that fun atmosphere vibe. The customer service was amazing and are waitress was incredibly friendly, outgoing, and very helpful. I will DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN!!

Lobster Mac n Cheese .. The drink was amazing !

This is somewhere you come if you only care about the aesthetic of the location not the food or the service!

Terrible. Worse experience. Don't recommend. Over priced and the manager shouldn't be a manager.

Sadly it was just a miss for us. Started off good, ceasar salad was good, fried artichokes were…read moreexcellent, meatballs were not for me; didn't care for the seasoning, heavy sauce. I order dinner and they were out of the hanger steak. My boyfriend ordered and they were out of the paella. I ended up getting the chicken cutlet board. The chicken was very dry, it was like a fish fry batter, not what I think of when I hear "cutlet". Over cooked, salty. My boyfriend got the salmon. I tasted it at the end of the meal, I couldn't even believe he tried to eat it. It was very overcooked and so fishy. Also it said that his potatoes were Lyonnaise potatoes, Definitely not, they were thickly sliced, lacked seasoning, just a miss. Drink service was very slow, forgot a drink too. The waiter mentioned they're in between menus; i'm hoping my feedback can be helpful to the restaurant. Also it is my pet peeve when servers don't tell you upon seating you that they are out of an item. Being they were out of both of the entrées we wanted we may have chose to leave and come back another day and possibly have a more positive experience.

My daughter and I ordered the Hot Honey Wings for an appetizer, and my daughter had a Cheeseburger with French Fries, and I ordered the Meat Lovers Paella. I ordered the paella because I have always wanted to try it, but I don't eat seafood, so I'm glad they had a meat paella. If you're ordering the Pallea, it will take about thirty to thirty minutes, so I would order an appetizer. The wings came out, and they were good, and the sauce was good. My only problem is that many restaurants that make wings seem to miss the seasoning, and the wings were missing flavor. It was fried well, but it was missing flavor. I loved the Meat Lovers Paella, which was packed with flavor. The paella came out in a cast-iron pan, and the meats were cooked well. The steak was moist, full of flavor, and cooked well. The rice was full of flavor and delicious. The Paella had a rich flavor profile, with the prominent tastes of saffron and smoky paprika coming together to create a satisfying and aromatic experience. I would definitely be back for the Paella because the presentation was on point. The customer service was great as the waiter was friendly, outgoing, and very knowledgeable about the menu.

Loved the decor and the understated holiday decorations. Especially loved the " George lassos the moon" decoration from my very favorite Christmas movie:) Their drinks are on point. The fig cocktail was to die for. My wife had the Paloma which was outstanding. The owner served us and she was a delight. So gracious and welcoming. So appreciative that we were there. The food was outstanding. I had the NY deli plate. Very good, the pastrami could be sliced a bit thinner, but it tasted great! Fries were hit fresh and crispy!! My wife had the Sunday special, derby dunker. Just wow. So good!! The truffle fries just kicked the whole thing into the stratosphere!! Can't wait to come back and try more of their food as well as their cocktails

Great menu, I believe they rotate it weekly. Fantastic bar, with wide variety of bourbon choices, including a bourbon of the week. They will often have a musical guest on many nights. We were there with friends on Kentucky Derby day, and they had Mint Juleps and made sure to show the races, and the Derby was really exciting! Always a good time at the Q&A!

Bummer, as drove 20 minutes in terrible winter weather. I happened to notice the sign Retro next door. On a whim, I googled it. Great reviews. We decided to give them a try. Oh my goodness, the 4.9 out of 5 didn't lie. Out of 5, we give them a 7. Super cute, uber clean was our initial impression. Emily was behind the bar and quickly welcomed us in. We were their first customers as it had just opened. We told her about Taco Central being closed, no idea why and that this was our first time in. She was so friendly and explained pretty much everything about Retro, from it being family owned and run to what makes it special with recommendations and customer favorites. Her Dad is the owner, Gary and we quickly met him. He shared some history of the area, his background and really made us feel special, but what is special is the crazy delicious pizza we enjoyed. Probably the best pie we have had in the NE. Which is saying a lot. It's New Haven style pizza at its absolute finest. The dough, the crust, the San Marzano sauce (to die for), coupled with the cheese, and toppings. We built our own. Sausage (which he makes himself), black olives, mushrooms, hot oil, jalapeños omg!!!! The pie was so delicious. A tip, when your pizza comes out, let it sit a minute or two before grabbing a slice to let it jive together. They offer oregano, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese to add. It's not needed but was so appreciated. They have apx 3 TVs to catch a game as well as tables. The ambiance is casual, retro and fun. Great date night, family friendly and welcoming. There truly wasn't one thing missing. Plus, they offer great wine choices in six or nine ounce pours at reasonable prices. But unlike so many restaurants, they have lovely long stemmed wine glasses. Great selection of beer, including local craft beers on tap and full bar. Go with complete confidence. I don't know if they have parking behind the restaurant as we parked directly in front street side.
