By far the worst office. The manager Carson needs to rethink her position. I work in customer service world and this child twisted and fabricated everything! Gorgeous little office. From the second I walked in I was welcomed and offered assistance. I came in for a whitening treatment and although my visit itself was short, my experience was by far one of the best I've had in a whole lifetime of dental visits. They offer you beats headphones to use throughout your visit, the chairs they use are massage chairs, and they really do try to make your experience as close to a 5-star hotel experience as possible. I had my free teeth whitening experience with Mint Dentistry and I must say that I was impressed. This is no ordinary dentist office. The receptionists were happy to greet us and were able to get us paperwork to fill out as new patients. When I was fitted for my trays I was left to relax with the luxury of watching Netflix in a state of the art Massage chair! This experience has opened my eyes to what it should feels like to receive exceptional customer service and making a memorable customer experience. My only regret is that I hadn't visited sooner. I came in for a teeth whitening and had a great time. Mint Dentistry really does live up to the "dentist spa" vibe that they hop e to give off. I enjoyed everything about my visit, from the moment I walked in up until it was time to leave. The receptionist was very attentive and the additional women assuring were too. I would give no stars. Do not trust them. I don't know where this doctor went to school but, she needs to have her license reviewed. Horrible doctor who recommended I have perfectly healthy teeth pulled. One tooth only needed a filling and the other wisdom teeth have never bothered me, but she recommended to come out. I should have never agreed to this. After numbing, about 6 shots, and them sawing into my gums, they couldn't get the first tooth out. (I believe, it was because, it's healthy and didn't need or want to come out). Finally, she asked her colleague to take a look at my tooth and he quickly determined that the tooth did not need to come out and could simply be filled. I was horrified that I had gone through all of this and the tooth did not need to be pulled. I told the doctor to stop everything. I was so angry, that I sat in the chair and cried. I felt taken advantage of and played for a fool. There was no way I was going to let this lady or anyone else in that office do anything more in my mouth. She kept trying to explain that I needed a oral surgeon to remove the teeth since my bones were so strong. Isn't that why they took so many X-rays...?Don't you already know that my bones, teeth, and gums are strong from the x-rays. AND THE POINT WAS, THE TEETH DIDIN'T NEED TO COME OUT AT ALL. Plus, I had already told her that I no longer believed anything she was saying to me, I did not trust her, and I WOULD NEVER BE BACK, but she just kept talking and asking the hygienist to co-sign her recommendation. I was not convinced. THEY JUST WANTED THE MONEY. My insurance covered these procedures at 90% and, I believe they saw me not as a person who would be affected by this doctors BAD ADVICE. Instead, they saw dollar signs and just wanted to make a quick buck. The last time a doctor talked to me about my wisdom teeth, he said that if they don't bother me, I don't need to bother them. I should have heeded that advice in this situation. Plus, it's like a "bait and switch". I was lured in my all those fancy commercials. I went in for a cleaning and teeth whitening. But first, they had to talk to me about this treatment plan and convince me to have all these other things done before they would clean my teeth. I kept asking them "Are you going to clean my teeth? But they wanted to make sure I agreed to all the other stuff, so they could start on that first. Are they dentists or salespeople? The lines are blurry in this office so BUYER BEWARE! Now, I'm in pain, on pain meds and antibiotics and, have to let my gums heal. Prayerfully, there is no permanent damage to the tooth they kept trying to pull out of my head unnecessarily. I've had braces and have generally always kept up with my dental check-ups. I mention this to say that I am no stranger to the dentist, and in fact, have always enjoyed going. This visit has forever changed that. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE!!!! My advice: Stay away from this office, stay away from Mint Dentistry, and don't trust someone just because they are a DDS. Unfortunately, not all doctors are good doctors and some people (and companies) may have allterior motives. I will be avoiding all chain dental companies from now on. read more

The one star is mainly for the clean office and extra gimmicks this company offers, but it doesn't detract enough from the fact that the cleaning done on my teeth was lackluster (I went there twice and never felt my teeth were clean, so within a week of that most recent visit, I went back to my old dentist over an hour away, who was shocked to find that my teeth had been "cleaned" recently) or that Mint tries to push services that you don't need. Between my two visits, there were only six months. The first time I was there, they said that, other than some tartar buildup and two "watch" spots, my teeth looked good. Six months later, they said I needed six fillings, despite the fact that they were fine earlier and that I've never had a cavity or needed any dental work in nearly forty years. I was a little suspicious, which is why I went to my old dentist a week later, who didn't see any issues (other than the terrible cleaning) or need for work. Neither did the new local dentist I recently saw. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed by Mint's business practices. The glitz and glam was nice, but it wears off quickly. read more

Both my daughter and me had an appointment at 11a. It was 12p and they had just started on my daughter. It was 1 when they started on me. They said they were running behind but don't they know how many people to schedule for the day and if they were that behind they should have called me. On top of that they said that my daughter didn't need all the treatment they had told us during her exam and when we checked out we were told that her insurance was maxed out. This was the first treatment she had this year so we both still had the full insurance amount and not even with the work she had would it have maxed out her benefits. Today was my first visit to Mint Dentistry. I am very impressed! They make it easy and simple. I had a hiccup with doing new patient paperwork submission online which caused me to be 15 min late to my appointment but they were still very nice and understanding. The Hygienist Amanda was awesome very friendly and empathetic which are very great qualities. The dentist Dr. Lal was very very articulate and thorough. She enlighten me on a few preventative things I could do to prevent some things that come with age that I wasn't aware of at all. I can appreciate the entire practice for their practice of not attempting to take all of your money for non necessity things or non emergent things. She wanted to watch things to see if they progress. I was given many options and referrals for other options. Very very customer service forward business. Oh and the front desk staff were very professional as well and empathetic. A++ from me! Way to go for first impressions MINT!! You have gained 3 more patients! Slam dunked it! read more

Went to try out Mint this morning and had nothing but a positive experience. I hadn't been to the dentist in along time and I'm glad I chose to take me and my family to Mint, will be making this our dentistry in the future. The establishment was very modern and clean and the staff was very nice and friendly and made sure you felt like you were in good hands. Kathy was my amazing guide thru the process and I never had to ask for anything. They even got my nervous 3yr old to feel comfortable and said he had a good time while getting his cleaning. They have terrible scheduling issues. I have been rescheduled twice in one week and the receptionist didn't seem to care. The first time, I was scheduled at the wrong time. ( I don't even know how they did that.) The second time was because I was the only person scheduled in the afternoon so they decided to cancel my appointment, even though that was my only available time for another week. Doesn't even deserve one star. I went in after having more teeth sensitivity than normal, and they told me I needed fillings. They were able to do them the same day, so I went ahead and got them done. He was extremely rough, and had to redo one of the fillings multiple times. After I left, and the numbness started to wear off, I could tell that the fillings were not filed down. They told me to come back if I had any issues, so I went back the next week and explained that I could feel the rough edges around the fillings, and it was painful to bite down, and I could not eat on that side of my mouth. They filed them down more, but it still did not help. I went back a total of 3 times saying there were still issues, and he told me "he couldn't see anything, therefore nothing was wrong". I knew something was wrong, so I drove the 4 hours to see my family dentist. He took one look in my mouth and said the doctor that did my fillings should have never passed dental school. He has to spend 2 hours fixing the mistakes made by MINT dentistry. Definitely do not recommend. read more

I'm very disappointed in the level of customer service that I've received from Mint. My appointment was scheduled today and yesterday I was sent a text message to call the office to give information about my insurance. I called them and they told me that my insurance was not active. So I called my insurance provider and they let me know that my insurance was active and has been since Dec. 2017. I called the Denton location to let them know and to verify everything over again. Today Mint sent me a text message saying that " Are your teeth excited? Your going to have an incredible experience" and that my appointment was schedule for 10am." I get to the office, after driving from Fort Worth in the rain, and they tell me that my insurance has been maxed out for the year and I would have to pay out of pocket. I'm not sure why they didn't inform me of this bit of information before I drove all the way over here or yesterday after I called my insurance. My dental assistant, previously, was so awesome and by whom I trust and is the reason why I drive so far because of the quality of care that I receive. It's a shame that I will not be coming back. On top of all of this, the appointment reminders are badgering. After, I confirmed my appointment through text message, I received another one 4 days later stating that if I don't contact them immediately to re-schedule in the event that I can't make the appointment they will charge $50. Wait a minute? Ive already confirmed that I could keep the appointment before hand. Why are you guys sending me another message 4 days later threatening to charge me $50 if I don't show? I would have called and let you know if I couldn't make it. I will be taking my business elsewhere because of this level of customer service is unprofessional. You guys are growing so fast that you are forgetting the detail levels of customer service. You are focusing on luxury and bells and whistles and missing the important details!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
