The frequently turning over of staff technicians means you will usually get a novice trainee who poorly documents changes or incorrectly applies methods. I cant tell you how many times technicians forgot to put on c-chains and I had to remind them. After switching orthodontists, my braces are now off after only one year thanks to a fresh approach. It was originally my dentist who let me know that I should get a second opinion, as she believed that Dr. Pickard was basically doing nothing and that what he was doing was totally ineffective. We observed more changes in one year at my new orthodontist then 5+ years at Pickard! He might be good for your kids but If you are an adult my advice is stay away.

Scheduling conflicts happen, but it doesn't excuse their lack of concern when dealing with early morning cancellations (that have frequently occurred). They claimed that it would be a COSMETIC FIX only, even though the Perio that they sent me too disagreed...cheap asses! I switched to Delta Dental in 2021, they set out to replace these old crowns after my very first visit...explaining that it is unhealthy to allow those old crowns to remain in my mouth, because bacteria can penetrate the old crowns (ironically, exactly what Willamette's Perio told them and they still denied my multiple requests for new crowns). I am a manager at WSU, so it's not like i have insufficient or crappy coverage. New doctor in 2020, she is a terrible doctor (and very rude). From 2017-2020 I saw a different technician every time at Willamette...none of them with experience (straight out of school) and learning on my mouth, OUCH. Willamette Pullman's front staff is nice, but manager, doctor and technicians all have attitude. Manager is a loud mouth with nothing nice to say. Don't choose them, you will regret it. The company is so cheap and they hire inferior and under experienced staff. Don't forget to read the "google" reviews for this place... another 2 out of 5. PS. I would down grade your score if i could based on your response. How do you justify your salary, telling me to call the same call center that has failed me for the past 3 years. I recently moved out…read moreof Pullman, and when I went to see a new dentist I found out what a terrible job this dental office did with my teeth. My sealants, done only a few months ago, are chipping off. Worse, they seem not to have cleaned my teeth before applying the sealants, and now I have cavities under the sealants. A filling done a not that long ago has cavities forming around the edges and will need repair and polishing. I'm facing a lot of work to fix this office's mistakes. It looks nice but they really messed up my teeth. They did give me a 1/3 refund on the bad sealants, but feel they are not at fault or negligent. They say they would wait and see with the cavities and that it might just be discoloration. The refund they gave me will only cover about 1/4 of the cost of the work my current dentist recommends to fix mistakes this office made. Proceed with caution if you go here, and if you've been here in the past have your dental work checked by another dentist.

I have had "difficult" teeth since childhood (am now in my 50s) and Dr. Chiang has been the first dentist to carefully track and treat my dental health over time and to fully address my individual needs. I have had procedures ranging from simple cleanings to a dental implant and have always been 100% satisfied. Dr. Chiang is amazing at keeping pain to a bare minimum (usually none at all) and he is always continuing his education on the newest advances. He treats patients with kindness and respect, explains and answers all questions - and see patients as people, and not just as "a set of teeth." I wish to acknowledge also Pullman Family Dentistry's Narissa and Lisa, two amazing women who are always kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable (and all the others have been super as well - I've never met a rude or incompetent staff member at PFD.) Finally, the people at Pullman Family Dentistry are all just lovely people with whom to interact. I do non-profit work in India and Dr. Chiang has always been a big supporter and has even made donations of dental supplies (e.g. toothbrushes, floss, etc.) to help the children who cannot afford such Western "luxuries." He did this without even being asked and without asking for any recognition in return - which is rare. (And, no, his generosity does not affect this positive review of his skill, but just goes to illustrate his general compassion for those in need.) I am so very glad and grateful to find such a wonderful dental practice here in Pullman, and am a fan for life of Pullman Family Dentistry.

Many years later I had my braces removed two days before I started High School. And almost four years after that - being now I see the results are amazing. him and his teams professional skills will stay with your teeth for life if you do it he says and wear your retainer. He did the best work on my teeth anyone has ever done before or probably ever will do. That being said I will never regret a single visit or a single minute at Pickard Orthodontics. I was a very irresponsible kid who did not do as I was told, but him and his team were patient and always figured out what to do to fix my teeth. OUr family really likes this office! From the front desk to the technicians to the doctors, the…read moreentire experience is seamless. You can tell they work as a team - even dressing similarly. They use technology correctly and efficiently to document care, communicate and make appointments. The kids love this place because they have free slushies. I really dont care about that, but I love that my son doesnt fight going to the appointments because he expects his slushie at the end. The office is modern, clean and they play music - sometimes loud. It's upbeat and fun. A great place to go if you ask me. Dr. Christopher is a very nice man and professional. He makes a point to connect with my sons at each visit, asking about their interests. Another fun thing is the customer appreciation parties. Whats not to like about an outdoor dinner and movie?
