Dr. Hansen and his team are absolutely wonderful. I was comfortable right from the start and with the amount of work i needed that was hard but they made it alot easier and i had started to feel like I was going to see friends instead of dreading an appointment. Palouse View Dental - five stars This professional building is otherwise known as Doctor Hanson's office. Doctor Hanson is truly the best in his field. There is no one in the area that comes close to his skill in dental Care. I am honored to have had him take care of my teeth for many years. Dental Care is expensive no matter what, however doctor Hanson does his best to make your dollar stretch as far as it possibly can. Over the time I went to his office he has been able to do special procedures regarding removal of teeth, immediate identification of dental or oral problems, as well as explaining everything you need to work on to make your teeth healthier. He is particularly good at fixing chips and matching the Finish. His facilities are spotless and well-lit. Is waiting room has water and tea - a very important attribute if you happen to be a tea addict like me. He has an amazing staff that go out of their way to give you the best experience you can possibly receive at a dental care facility. Not the best place for cleaning and exam for kids. Nothing was explained to them before it was done. The itemized total for 2 kids (cleaning and exam only) was about $500. A bit steep, ouch, should have asked first. read more

It's always scary to move to a new place and have to choose all new providers. I'm so grateful to have had Palouse View recommended to me. I've had frustrating experiences at the dentist before, which is probably why I appreciate Dr. Hansen and his team so much. They are all wonderful! My husband and I as well as our children see Dr. Hansen and they've taking very good care of us. I see Susan to clean/check my teeth regularly and she has taught me so much about taking care of my teeth and gums. I'm surprised my previous providers never explained things like this before! I've had a hard time finding a good dentist in Moscow. The last guy I went to - who shall remain nameless - was basically a giant frat boy who came across as very unprofessional and did shoddy work. He put a crown on my wife that had to be repaired 3 times in the course of about a year. The third time I decided it was better to cut my losses and try to find a dentist who knew what they were doing. Enter Dr. Hansen. The new crown has been on for 7 months and no problems so far. It's made from a better material than the last crown, and is guaranteed for the life of Dr. Hansen's practice. My wife also says it feels better than the last one. In addition to doing good work, everyone is professional and courteous. The office has a nice atmosphere. It really just couldn't be any better. I'm happy to have found such a good dentist! I was worried about what I might find in my new location after leaving a major metropolis for the open spaces of Eastern Washington. My old dentist and his father were far and above the best in my old town....My friends mother worked in their offices...So it was with great anticipation that I looked around my new area of the Palouse for a new dentist. It had been a year since my last check up and I was a little concerned about what I might hear....every one in the office from the receptionist to the FANTASTIC Hygienist Terrin are great people. Terrin has a good technique and is through in her duties...while being more gentle than my last Hygienist. The equipment is modern and that gives me relief that I'm being well cared for with the best technology. The personal attention & care is second to none. This place is absolutely amazing. I've had so many bad issues with past dentists in various other places, as I have moved around a few times in my life, but the team at Palouse View Dental really go above and beyond every single time. If I ever have a concern or question they are sure to get me in right away to ease all my fears and troubles. Not only do they provide the normal services, but during those services they give you fun extras to help you relax such as a hand wax treatment that you'd normally receive at a spa. Dr. Hansen is my third dentist in less than 5 years. I think I've finally found a dentist I know will take care of my needs. He's extremely friendly and personable and does his best at making you as comfortable as possible. I especially liked the fact that he meets with you face to face in a conference room prior to your check-up in order to get to know you and your needs. He doesn't wait to ask the questions while your mouth is wide open and you can't respond. The staff also takes their time with you making sure your needs are met.
