My wife's bruises 24 hrs after her massage...
otto h.

I hate to leave this review, because for years straight my wife and I had amazing experiences here. However, we just left the worst massage experience of our lives, and the worst hour of our month. We jumped in for 1 hr massages at 7:15 on Friday. My wife had a male masseuse, I had a female. Both of our experiences were shockingly identical - WAY too much pressure. Not like normal pressure that merely makes you hold your breath. More like their elbow on your vertebrae with all their weight rubbing back and forth until your bruised and have rug burn. It was pretty clear these two masseuses had some training - since our experiences were almost perfectly identical. Sadly, whatever training they got was very very bad. They literally pressed their bones into our spines, all the way up and all the way down. We both considered walking out multiple times but couldn't muster the courage to embarrass them by doing so. Upon our exit, we offered $10 tips from each of us - the amount Min's recommends when the experience is just "fair". Instead of taking the hint and the feedback, they complained, pointed to the tip guidance sign (which we knew very well) and complained that we under tipped, making the whole thing much more awkward. We've tipped 100% here before when we've had great experiences. I feel terrible leaving this review, but I hope the managers monitor this because they just lost two loyal customers and I imagine they'll lose every other customer these two masseuses touch as well if they don't fix this. Update: photo of my wifey bruised back added 24 hrs after massage.

Wonderful afternoon

They are amazing every time we go Even through Covid they have made the necessary changes to keep going. I appreciate their communication throughout the process to make sure the pressure is good and you feel comfortable.

The bruises I got after subjecting myself to a "massage".

Great prices! Only down side is the language barrier. Some times they understand and sometimes they don't.

After reading some of the reviews here, I set my expectations low for my birthday spa day. However,…read moreI was pleasantly surprised with an amazing experience! The spa is perhaps a bit small, but I was there on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded. I was able to enjoy both relaxation rooms (including the amenities like snacks and spa water), the whirlpool, and the fabulous steam room. I really enjoyed the steam room and was impressed with how quickly the space filled with steam when you pressed the wall button to go to "high." The bowl of iced down eucalyptus towels outside the door was a nice touch and felt delightful. I had three services: a full body scrub and 50-minute deep tissue massage with Melissa, followed by a 50-minute facial with Lauren. All were excellent. The treatment rooms were also nice, relaxing environments. Spa staff made every effort to ensure I had a great experience and felt like a queen. They were kind, professional, and generous. If I have one minor complaint, which can't be held against the spa, it's that some people (like me and my husband, who both know very little about spas) would benefit from guidance on a good schedule of services when booking. During my massage, I learned the best approach would be to enjoy the steam room and whirlpool after, then fully shower before my facial. I had no idea, and my services were scheduled too closely together to accommodate that. I still had a great time, but I would have used the spa amenities more with more time before my facial. I only wish I could have stayed longer! I'd come back without hesitation.

Had a wonderful first experience at the ritz carlton spa in denver. The space is small and the hot tub is small but overall was an enjoyable experience. My esthetician Lauren was very friendly and calming and my sisters esthetician (Belle?) was very friendly. She made her feel very pampered by acknowledging and celebrating her upcoming wedding which I was very thankful for. I only wish the steam room worked better and that we can pick our own music for the service (JW Marriott did this at a spa). Would return though based on great customer service.

I cannot thank you enough, Yelp, for organizing another Elite event with a spa, and this time,…read moreHeyday. Until this Elite experience was organized, I had no clue such a place existed. Hence, it's a nice way to get to know a spa like this; had I not signed up for it, Heyday would have been unknown to me for the rest of my life (might be an exaggeration but hey, when you are excited about something sometimes you want to amplify what you want to say, right?) I was simply overdue for a facial. Counting months from the last visit I had, my anticipation towards today's experience was HIGH. I felt like skipping to show up with a big grin on my face! They were expecting me because as soon as I stepped in, a young lady at the reception said, "You are Rika, right?" It was so nice to be expected! Since the first timer intake form was completed prior to visiting, the check-in took only a minute. I was a bit early for my appointment time. While I was waiting, I checked out some of the products that were displayed. I even tested a few of them on my skin; I was immediately impressed with it. Right at the appointment time (of 5:30pm), my esthetician, Aunjanee, came out from the back and greeted me. The young lady upfront explained to me about their cabins/stalls/room (however you describe it.) You'll be one-on-one with your esthetician in one cabins/stalls/rooms but it's an open-air system so you'll hear other people's talking/voices from other cabins/stalls/rooms. Some appear to dislike this system, this didn't bother me AT ALL (I've been to a facial place where it was a barber shop/hair salon style where they'll put you in one big room.) People can be chatty and loud but even if that happens, I think I'd still be able to handle the "noises". Aunjanee was so considerate of my old/sensitive skin. Once she cleansed my face using two different cleansers, she analyzed my skin thoroughly. She pointed out some problem areas and explained what would need to be done to tackle them. Her clear explanation was easily understood. And all the ingredients she used on my face had AMAZING scents. And the extraction part came. Since she wanted to clear the "congestions" especially on my nose, she squeezed it pretty hard (lol). This didn't bother me though as it wasn't painful. Oh, by the way, this place does not use steamers on people's faces; they only use hot towels (this was also explained to me upfront by the receptionist (I think); I wonder why that is. I didn't bother to ask. Was this a problem to me? Nope! I was OK with that 100%! 50 minutes of facial was just the right length. Because the whole experience was so relaxing (Aunjanee's soft voice had a hypnotic power) I was (at one point) half asleep! At the end, Aunjanee let me see the end result. My face was glowing like a bright moon in the dark sky! My parched middle-aged skin was supersonic hydrated. This was by far the BEST facial experience in a while. Thanks again, Yelp; You always organize great events like this to pamper/spoil us (I'm not complaining though!!) Thanks, Heyday; What a great salon! I will definitely spread the word!!

Like most of the current reviewers, I received the opportunity to visit Heyday for a facial as part…read moreof a Yelp Elite experience. I do think it's important to note that the value of the 50-minute facial was $135, and for me, I probably wouldn't normally treat myself to this service. So it was truly a gift! And much needed hour of relaxation in my postpartum days. Setting up the appointment was so convenient through Heyday's website and creating an account. I actually had to chance the time of my appointment and was able to do it all online without having to call, which helped save me a lot of time. My personalized facial was with Ananda, who began by asking me what I wanted to focus on. I had no idea so just said anti-aging...? She talked to me about the importance of wearing sunscreen and exfoliating (once a week). Since the facial was free, I added the guasha treatment (for $50) which was a massage using stone in a scraping motion across the face and neck. I actually have a guasha tool that I have no idea how to use, so the experience was helpful! I loved all the smells from the products and was really relaxed laying with a warm blanket on a rainy day. After the facial, I bought two Dr. Loretta products - sunscreen and exfoliating pads which Ananda had used during the facial and recommended for me. I left feeling rejuvenated and inspired to take better care of my skin.
