She is a true doctor of Chinese medicine having gone to school for acupuncture for 5 years in China as opposed to the 1-2 year schools we have here. I have seen many acupuncturists in my 11 years journey with chronic illness and I have NEVER had such instant immediate relief. I walk out of treatment with Dr. Wen feeling radically different when typically I'll get moderate (if any) relief over a long period of time with my previous practitioners. She often sees small changes in my body before I do and looks at the body like an X-ray and will sit there explaining and showing it to you. Which is a relief because untrained or ignorant practitioners/ doctors will ignore symptoms if they don't understand or can't help you. Dr. Wen's bedside manner is by far the most notable aspect of her service- she sits with you for an hour constant moving and doing different jobs to aid your treatment from cupping to moxibustion all while having discussions that range from light hearted to thought provoking. This is the most affordable acupuncture I've ever had in my life with by far the most care and the most talent- honestly feels like a miracle. She is honest, modest, and compassionate. Everyone I recommend to her has in fact gotten better. I don't have enough nice things to say about Dr. Wen of Traditional Chinese Medicine of New York.

I came to Dr.  Shi with the worst-case scenario involving conditions that affected every organ in my body, including a serious back condition and macular degeneration. I suffered from organ failure and was hospitalized for three months in an ICU on dialysis twenty-four hours a day. Things were very serious. I was so sick I could barely take 10 steps before I had to rest and take 10 more and so on until I was able to reach the treatment room.  The Western doctors I saw and some I still see, treat and have treated my symptoms but without much progress. My body grew weaker, the fluid retained because of my two heart valve conditions made me gain one hundred pounds. I know Dr. Shi saw the challenge I presented, but that didn't deter him from treating me. He designed a brilliant treatment plan to address my whole body system. His acute awareness, insight, and years of experience culminated in his masterful application. He cautioned me that this would take some work, my system was quite damaged and compromised. I stayed with it as did he. The resulting improvement in my health is miraculous!  My heart, my liver, my kidneys, my digestive system, my migraines are greatly improved! I recently canceled the epidural shots for my back because it has improved so much that I have much less pain now and the scans of my spine are better. Dr.  Shi worked on the macular degeneration in my eyes. I am now in remission and no longer need the horrible shots I suffered with for years! My retinologist was amazed and now sees Dr.Shiherself and her family! My husband and my disabled son with cerebral palsy also see Dr. Shi. He has treated my son for adhesions and contractures of his right shoulder and arm. My son was getting Botox treatments, but since Dr. Shi has been treating him he hasn't needed a shot in almost two years!  I must mention here that my son receives massage therapy from Huan Mei before his acupuncture treatment. Everyone in my son's day-hab program has seen the difference in his posture and seating position. Huan Mei (May) is fabulous! Her skill, lovely demeanor and sweet personality are a winner! Dr. Shi's commitment to me and my family as his patients is unique to me as I have been treated by Western medicine where the protocol is to be removed personally from the patient. Dr. Shi has become like a trusted family member, someone we feel we can always turn to. I need to mention Jean Dash before I can finish my review. She runs the office so efficiently with patience and grace She is a pleasure to work with and is always there for us. Jean is quite knowledgeable and educated about the medical world, making her position as the liaison between patients and the practice successful.  Dr. Shi is my best doctor and the only one who has truly systemically helped me.

I'm actually surprised to find Dr Bei on Yelp and I am more than happy to post the first review…read more I found out about Dr Bei through word of mouth. My 22 year old daughter was post op (emergency surgery). After visiting the GI doctor for complications, I felt overwhelmed by the amount of testing she was prescribed. As a mother, all I can say is that it was one of the worse days of my life. Some time after treatment and following his specific instructions, I am happy to say that she's much better. Thank you Dr Bei (he discharges you once you're better) I too see Dr Bei, I am literally falling apart. I still see my medical doctor who is well aware of Dr Bei's treatment. With that said, I've been under his care for more than a year. I don't know if I'll be discharged anytime soon, bit at least I'm in good hands. No... "Do you like getting pricked with needles?" No... "Then why do you want to come back now that you feel fine?") dragged me to see him. One session of acupuncture and a week's course of herbs stopped my morning sickness in its tracks. I ended up seeing him throughout my pregnancy, and he helped some strange symptoms that western medicine doesn't really have any remedies for--nose bleeds, sudden fright, etc. Kept away the morning sickness even though it was always lurking, prevented swelling in my feet and hands, kept my mood stable (everyone was all, "You're the calmest pregnant lady we've ever seen.") He's very caring, even calling and keeping updates, giving tips on taking care of myself, when I went into labor. The BEST thing he did was when I caught the flu in my 6th month, coughing up green mucous, not sleeping because I couldn't stop coughing, and the doctors refused to prescribe me antibiotics (even though I was literally coughing up cottage cheese chunks of green whatever was in my lungs), I went to see him and he relieved the coughing almost immediately, and I fell asleep for the first time in 3 days on his table for that glorious one and a half hours (he let me stay on for 45 minutes more without charging me because he knew how much I needed the sleep). Everything else cleared up in a few days with the herbs he prescribed. I literally thought I was going to be coughing up the green chunks for the rest of my life and was never going to sleep again. Not only that, even though he doesn't make house calls, when my grandmother was dying and she asked to see him, he came to her house immediately and reassured her and calmed her down, even though we all knew nothing could be done for her. For that, my family is forever grateful.
