I have seen many acupuncturists in my 11 years journey with chronic illness and I have NEVER had such instant immediate relief. I walk out of treatment with Dr. Wen feeling radically different when typically I'll get moderate (if any) relief over a long period of time with my previous practitioners. She often sees small changes in my body before I do and looks at the body like an X-ray and will sit there explaining and showing it to you. Which is a relief because untrained or ignorant practitioners/ doctors will ignore symptoms if they don't understand or can't help you. Dr. Wen's bedside manner is by far the most notable aspect of her service- she sits with you for an hour constant moving and doing different jobs to aid your treatment from cupping to moxibustion all while having discussions that range from light hearted to thought provoking. This is the most affordable acupuncture I've ever had in my life with by far the most care and the most talent- honestly feels like a miracle. She is honest, modest, and compassionate. Previously an acupuncture skeptic, I am now convinced that traditional medicine works and is great especially when used alongside modern medicine. Dr. Tae is world class in acupuncture and herbal medicine and has a lot of patience and empathy for his patients. I first started going to Dr. Tae because of a torn Achilles - he treated me pre-surgery to help with my anxiety and reccomended herbs to reduce post surgery inflammation. I was doubtful at first, but when my orthopedic saw the operated ankle, he was in shock at how minimal the swelling and inflammation was. Post surgery, Dr. Tae performed acupuncture to help with inflammation, pain, scarring, healing/strengthening of the surgical area - all of this (alongside PT) pushed me on the recovery fast track and sped up the process to literally help me get back on my feet. The whole process is calming and gentle and the environment is relaxing. I find acupuncture to be a valuable complementary therapy alongside my regular health routine. I came to Dr.  Shi with the worst-case scenario involving conditions that affected every organ in my body, including a serious back condition and macular degeneration. I suffered from organ failure and was hospitalized for three months in an ICU on dialysis twenty-four hours a day. Things were very serious. I was so sick I could barely take 10 steps before I had to rest and take 10 more and so on until I was able to reach the treatment room.  The Western doctors I saw and some I still see, treat and have treated my symptoms but without much progress. My body grew weaker, the fluid retained because of my two heart valve conditions made me gain one hundred pounds. I know Dr. Shi saw the challenge I presented, but that didn't deter him from treating me. He designed a brilliant treatment plan to address my whole body system. His acute awareness, insight, and years of experience culminated in his masterful application. He cautioned me that this would take some work, my system was quite damaged and compromised. I stayed with it as did he. The resulting improvement in my health is miraculous!  My heart, my liver, my kidneys, my digestive system, my migraines are greatly improved! I recently canceled the epidural shots for my back because it has improved so much that I have much less pain now and the scans of my spine are better. Dr. Pak ticks off those boxes. Her office is pristine and the longest I've sat in the waiting room was my first visit because I had to fill out forms. I initially started seeing her for fatigue and overall balance. I am still seeing her because I have various chronic issues. She has given me relief for many of them and some unexpected potentially covid related things. If you have pain, anxiety, fatigue, long covid symptoms, etc., try acupuncture. The bonus is you get to relax in a dimly lit room with soothing music for about 25 minutes. I think we could all use some of that nowadays.
