David's massage was deep and effective (I'm a physical therapist and have a pet peeve about just being rubbed without it causing any actual change). I have been dealing with a cervical disc injury with symptoms down my arm as well as a forearm strain and he was able to work with both, increasing my comfort level while traveling that week significantly. It was also just deeply relaxing and wonderful. Monica quickly diagnosed my skin problem as over-drying (which is counter-intuitive when you're having a break out) due to a different skin care regimen I'd been on lately. She did extractions where I really wanted to see my skin look lighter and cleaner but didn't go crazy with it so my skin was left calm and smooth. The products she uses really helped re-balance my skin and restore that missing moisture.

That is why I trust David at Golden Hands with my massage needs. The massage table in their office is always warm and I leave feeling energized and relaxed (I know it doesn't make sense but you have to try it!) after each visit. I've also visited David when I'm experiencing headaches or other temporary illnesses. He uses pressure points in addition to massage to release tension, open airways, and calm my nerves. I've been to the Massage Envy in Port as well as Red Door Spas etc and never left with the same feeling. I highly recommend Gold Hands in Port!

At my appointment here the knee treatment was far more extensive with targeted gentle pressure which significantly improved wellness. I'm looking forward to continuing treatment which reduced pain already in one appointment, and avoiding further long term or even short term reliance on tylenol by using massage and only topical medicine when needed. The office atmosphere is very peaceful and Stephen has a great deal of knowledge about knee issues.

Since it had been a long time since I've had a massage, I made an appointment with Kathleen for an 80 minute session based on her glowing reviews. She has an easygoing personality and made me feel comfortable from the get-go. Kathleen explained the different massage techniques that she uses and after asking which areas of my body I wanted her to focus on, she went straight to work on my muscles, customizing along the way. Kathleen indicated where my trigger points were and told me that if they're not taken care of early on, they can take root and spread. That certainly explained why my body felt like it slowly turning into stone. By the end of the session, I had completely melted into the massage table and was able to move my neck and shoulders freely again. Needless to say, I booked another appointment right away! I recommend that you do the same!
