DO NOT GO HERE IF YOUR PLAN IS TO GET WELL…read more I was in a minor fender bender. Went to see these doctors because they took NY State No Fault and the accident wasn't my fault. These people are ambulance chasers who have no interest in getting you well enough to get back to your life. I was harassed about not having a lawyer. They actually had a lawyer call me about my "case." The office manager took it upon herself to have a "sit down" with me to encourage (or force) me to get one. Me telling them I'm not interested in litigation, I'm interested in being able to squat without serious pain did nothing. They threatened to come after me for the bills if the insurance company didn't pay. Then scheduled me for tests I probably didn't need. They sent me to a specialist about my knees, who decided after seeing my MRI that I needed to have surgery on both knees. I went to a different doctor for a second opinion, and a third doctor that I'm actually seeing now, and neither thought surgery was necessary or would be of any benefit. In fact, both said that the injury to my right knee doesn't even require surgery. It heals on it's own. Oddly enough, 98% of the time I went in for treatment (my MRI claims I have all kinds of injuries to my neck and back as well as my knees), all I got was a heating pad and stim machine on my knees, and some really really bad acupuncture. I could feel the needles. A couple of times I got the stim machine/heating pad combo on my back. No exercise, no strengthening of the muscles around my injured knees. No attention to the other injuries I have. There was also the series of "pain shots" administered by Dr. Cohen that didn't work at all. If your goal is to help them get rich off billing insurance companies then by all means, this is the place for you. If your goal is to get better and get back to your life, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Never again.

I didn't get a call back in the next few hours, thought, no worries, I'll stop by - wanted to see the office anyway. I came in and spoke to the office manager/ receptionist - Amanda. She was nice. Said that although this was one of his office days the doctor was out of the office for a personal matter. Ok, made an appointment for the following Friday at 10AM. Took a day off to be there. Fast forward a week. I come in at 10AM. The doctor is not there yet - that he was delayed by the weather (it was sprinkling) no problem, I sit down to wait. About 10 minutes later Amanda tells me that she just texted with the doctor and because of the weather he was delayed - ok, I say ok I'll wait, how far out is he? In Syosset. I stuffer with that - you don't get 40 minutes delayed by drizzling rain. She apologized for the inconvenience. I told Amanda that I took a day off to see the doctor, and although I'm frustrated, to call me when he gets in and we can find a time today that I can still come in - since I took a day off specifically for this. At 1:25PM, over 3 hours later I get a call that the doctor got called out on an emergency and wouldn't be in today at all. And that she can reschedule at my convenience. My convenience? At my convenience I would have seen him TODAY, as scheduled. I struggle to believe that both stories I received in the same day were both true. Really disappointed - can't believe I burned a day off for this. As a side note: this office seems to focus on "no fault" insurance.

I made an appointment and he saw me the same day. His office is in a shared space with another medical center. He's a one man team but gets the work done. I didn't have to wait and he addressed my concerns right away. I visited him a few times and received a stretch/massage session that was very helpful for my back pain. Each session my back felt much better. I love that he gave me other preventative tips to consider such as wearing shoes with a heel for support and some easy every exercises to do daily for maintenance. He offers late evening and some weekend hours. He is definitely someone I will return when needed.

A year and a half has passed since I started my treatments with the Doctors Tsourounakis for Sciatica and lower back pain. The original pain is gone, my Sciatica is under control and I feel great. I do not have regular treatments anymore, just tune-ups if needed. My daughter who lives in New Jersey travels 1&1/2 hours on a regular basis to get treatments for neck/back issues. She says that they listen and liked the interactive healing process. I also had my ex-girlfriend receive positive treatments for neck and back issues. These doctors care, listen, and you get the feeling that they are more about healing than the money. This is rare, it restores my faith in the medical community.
