Faith is something that may not be visible at first but you believe it when it works. I have faith in these two wonderful Chiropractors! A year and a half has passed since I started my treatments with the Doctors Tsourounakis for Sciatica and lower back pain. The original pain is gone, my Sciatica is under control and I feel great. I do not have regular treatments anymore, just tune-ups if needed. My daughter who lives in New Jersey travels 1&1/2 hours on a regular basis to get treatments for neck/back issues. She says that they listen and liked the interactive healing process. I also had my ex-girlfriend receive positive treatments for neck and back issues. These doctors care, listen, and you get the feeling that they are more about healing than the money. This is rare, it restores my faith in the medical community. I've been going to Dr. Manny for four years now. I came in with scoliosis in 3 places in my spine and lower back pain. Within half a year the pain was gone, but what shocked me were my x-rays a year later. My neck scoliosis was gone, my mid back and lower back scoliosis improved so much that even I, a person who has no idea how to read x-rays can tell the difference. The side view of my spine is almost perfect! I am shocked that so many structural changes can take place within a year! Dr. Manny truly has magic hands and his neck adjustments are addicting! This place is not worth a Groupon deal. I figured to go for an evaluation for my lower back due to workout injury. Anyway on the wrong and shady part on this place, when I wanted to schedule an appointment just to test the waters on another chiropractor because of previous shady experience and thought to give a try. When I called their office for the first time and a lady picked up the phone then requested for an appointment plus stated that I have a Groupon deal. This lady sounded frantic that all of the chiropractors are on vacation and couldn't find a replacement at the moment then wanted me to call Groupon for a refund. I said ok so I give it another week since the deal expires next month. The next two weeks past then tried again to see if I can get lucky become really savvy with it. I called again and not sure if it is the same lady but I requested for an appointment (without stated that I have a Groupon deal). "This is like shopping online to see if the deal will go with your favor". Anyway, when I got the date and time for the appointment then I stated the "Groupon Deal"....deal invalid and got the same story from the first call. Oh well I tried. I thought my previous surgery fixed precise areas that troubled me, years later my cervical spine was fused and compressed. I was in tremendous pain. While under Dr. Emanuel Tsourounakis and Dr Helena Tsourounakis care, it did not take me long to feel better. I've no doubt that my continue mobility and relief are all thanks to them. Everyone in the office is so nice and inviting. Whenever I feel discomfort or pain, they would add me in during their busy schedule. What really separates Dr Tsourounakis from the rest is his bedside manner, sense of humor, empathy, and ability to patiently listen. I came here based on many glowing referrals for my infant and I'm so glad I did! I first came here while pregnant to meet the Dr and introduce myself. Once i brought my infant in at 2wk old the Dr assessed him and noticed a few things that were likely making him uncomfortable. My son has been twice now and we'll be back weekly for another month of adjustments. The day we came home from our last visit he slept more easily without so much fussing. Dr Helena talks to my baby so sweetly, she's kind, flexible, honest, and she'll answer any question you have. I'll likely book an appt for myself soon too. Zero stars if that's even possible. Brought a Groupon for back in 8/3/19 and their scheduled an apt for 9/11. Which by the way is SO far away but I knew that it came with the territory of using a Groupon. On 9/10, they canceled my appt and apparently rescheduled for October without giving me confirmation--WTH!! The day my appt was set for, I get a phone call "Hi, where are you?? Went through Groupon and almost expected to be treated poorly because of that. But I'm glad I went. Yes, the office is a bit run down but it was clean and I don't think hygiene is an issue. The doctor was great, he was very pleasant, friendly, cordial and knowledgeable. He pinpointed a lot of issues that I've been having for years and some that I've developed recently. He didn't put any pressure to make appointments for further consultations which I appreciated. The massage was great, Benessa did a great job. I almost fell asleep on the table. I found it funny when the stereo started blasting ads in the middle of my massage. I guess they don't pay for Pandora. Yes, the video he shows is from the 1990s but it was helpful to have some sort of background before the consultation began so no complaints there. It literally took 5 minutes. And for all the reviewers complaining about "The doctor didn't fix my back pain", reread the Groupon because it says it's only good for a consultation and a massage, not actual Chiropractic work. I didn't have any chiropractic work done on me so I can't judge that but I'd be willing to give this office a fair chance when I'm in search of a chiropractor. read more

Got a Groupon for this office. First visit was a 60 minute massage followed by a quick 10 minute assessment by the chiropractor where he felt my spine for any abnormal curvatures. The massave was different from every other massage I've received from dedicated massage places. The pressure applied was very soft so I'm not sure if there was any real effect. The second visit was just the chiropractor rehashing the same convo we had the first time and then vaguely explaining his treatment process. Basically, the real treatment doesn't start until I start buying treatment plans. This quick 20 minute conversation could've been had over the phone instead of me traveling to come into the office. Never got my back and neck cracked. It's pretty hard to gauge a practice's effectiveness when they never actually do anything. After reaching the thorough and negative reviews from this office, my decision has been solidified will to not return. read more

Got a groupon deal. Place was old and seedy looking, I should have walked out from the beginning. Chiro makes you watch a 10 min VHS movie from the 80's about Chiropractic care. Dr. T was very knowledgeable. now on to the massage therapist.... AWKWARD! the room was smaller than my bathroom, the therapist is about 400lbs. Heavy breather, cant move around and would NOT SHUT UP. I want to relax and not talk about the Xfactor winner from 2011. every time he did something, it was a heavy breath and you like that??? VERY WEIRD and awkward. I only did the back massage cause I didn't want to take off my pants.. already I felt awkward with my breasts out.. under an awkward sheet that you know he can see my sideboob. I also used the groupon for the massage and chiropractic consultation and thought both were great. I've continued to see Dr. Tsourounakis, the chiropractor and I think he's excellent. He's pleasant, friendly, and most importantly, he's great with adjustments. After going to him for just a few weeks I'm feeling much better. I also thought Felix was a great massage therapist. He communicated with me very clearly and adjusted the pressure to what was comfortable for me. I would definitely go to him again. The office is a little rundown looking and the treatment rooms are a little small, but I don't know why that would matter. It's not a spa, it's a chiropractic office! The chiropractor is professional and good at what he does but the Groupon promotion does NOT cover adjustments. It is how they get business in the door. The massage..OMG..Literally was so weirded out and grossed out by the dude that did it that I won't even be going back to my follow up appointment. He was like 3,000 pounds..making inappropriate comments..wouldn't stop talking..and made me uncomfortable as all heck. If my top wasn't off I'd have just gotten up and said "Thanks, I'm done.." Curious who some of you ladies had your massage by and if it was the same guy I dealt with. This is a five star practice because of the warm, caring and wonderful doctors who make you feel at home and pay individualized attention to you. My back pain has totally improved and I feel so much better after two months of treatments. I have walked in with a headache and have had the headache go away after a session with no need for a pain killer. Easily accessible by train. You can park at Queens Mall parking and walk. Don't get turned off by the fact that the office building is old and can use a bit of TLC. The care and results you will receive will make you forget about that. I first met "Dr." T back in late 2012 after purchasing a GROUPON coupon that promised a massage and consultation. My first impression of "Dr." T was a pleasant one, he had a very(overly) friendly demeanor and chuckled more than the St.Nicholas (santa claus) I once visited at the mall during my early childhood years. However his positive personality wasn't enough to commit myself to his treatments. Mainly due to my financial status. At the time I was fresh out of high school with no income and my insurance wasn't accepted by this practice. After awhile, I forgot about my visit here until mid year of 2013 when "Dr." T's office called me about a dozen times as a "follow up procedure." I received the calls through out the end of 2013 and into mid 2014. Being the naive college freshman I was, I honestly thought "Dr." T and his wonderful staff cared about my well being. I finally caved in and my back problems growing by the day, I decided to scrap up the little funds I had from school and my part time job. In mid 2014, I went back to visit "Dr." T after scheduling an appointment for first time light adjustments. To my disappointment, I ended up getting the same first time consultation I got back in 2012 with the GROUPON coupon. His excuse for denying my treatment was that X-rays needed to be taken before he could give me any kind of adjustments. There was just one problem, the X-rays were expensive so I told "Dr." T I would try to save costs by getting an X-ray for free with the referral of my Doctor at a different facility. However, "Dr." T wanted me to compensate him for his time(mind you all he did was look at my file from my first visit in 2012 and made me re-watch a outdated video giving the basics of Chiropractic practice which I watched upon my first visit back in 2012). I didn't want to offend "Dr." T and respected his time by paying his consultation fee of $75 dollars which he originally gave me a discount price of $70 dollars behind closed doors but once we arrived at the front desk, he firmly stated I owed him $75 dollars in front of his staff and the little patients he had waiting. I didn't want to make a scene and sheepishly handed over my emergency credit card which I had for the sole purpose of emergency situations. Never did I think I'd have to use it to pay off a chiropractor. After arriving home, it finally hit me like a wall of bricks- I've been swindled. I've trusted "Dr." T and his fake smile and he took advantage of my trust. I quickly got over it, and told myself I'd speak up next time. & Since I had already invested $75 dollars, I decided to start treatment there. Thinking back, I understand why "Dr." T charged an extra $75 dollar for something I got out of a GROUPON deal, it was to get people to invest and unnecessary amount of $ from the start in order to have them come back out of feelings of regret so that the average patient would have thoughts along the lines of "well since I've already invested a certain amount of $ from the start, it's only right to follow through or start all over again at someplace else and end up paying the same fee." Little did I know other chiropractors didn't charge a double consultation fee like "Dr." T did. At this point, "Dr." T seemed more like a business man more than a chiropractor, I wish I would've taken a few business pointers from "Dr." T since I am a business major(insert sarcasm here) After a couple of gathering funds from part-time work, I finally managed to come up with the $300 which was the "cheapest" package "Dr." T had to offer. It was also around this time "Dr." T's daughter started working in the office. She claims she's a chiropractor like her father but all I've seen her do is sit at the front desk making small talk(especially to the male patients), serving as the eye candy of her father's office. Since I made the package purchase, each visit costed $30(10 visits). Prior to each visit, I spent 15-30 minutes despite being early to my appointment, it seemed "Dr." T treated patients based on seniority. There was even one instance when someone came in 10 minutes after me and that person was able to receive treatment ahead of me. "Dr." T even treated this patient differently, as he put on the biggest smile and his voice rose a octave higher as if he was trying to hit a high note on a jingle. I am not over exaggerating, "Dr." T treats his patients differently and my guess is that this particular patient must have purchased this most expensive package "Dr." T had to offer. At first I thought this V.I.P status patient is a friend of "Dr." T's but I've seen the special treatment(skip ahead of others) "Dr." T offers to others as well based on their package rates. I agree with the last post. I also got the Groupon for the massage and consultation. The office was very small and did not look updated. I frequently get massages and I have to say this was one of the worst massages I ever had. The massage therapist had his phone go off at least twice, he thought I was sleeping and stated "oh yes, shes asleep!". Seriously, who says that! To top it off, I didn't even get adjusted. Dr. Manny and his associate doctor/daughter Dr. Helena provide their patients with a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan tailored to their patients chiropractic needs. Since beginning my weekly treatments I've become much more aware of my posture and other habits contributing to my neck and back pain, and I attribute that to Dr. Manny's expertise. Dr. Manny also offers customized orthotics which have been a huge help to me since I'm on my feet all day. I've only been seeing Dr. Manny and Dr. Helena for a few months and notice a huge difference in my back and neck. If you bought the groupon for the "massage and spinal adjustment" just try and get your money back. It was the most awkward, uncomfortable, and creepy experience. The massage was was in a creepy little room and they guy who gave it had no experience plus it was dead quiet but a ticking clock. Then when I saw the doctor (who actually seems good) he made me watch a really old movie about the world if chiropractics and told me why I was having back pain and then didn't fix it. I was having back pains and couldn't sleep. At first, I thought it was my mattress and even after replacing it, I was experiencing intolerable sharp pains in my back. I was on Groupon looking for a massage deal and came across a massage and free evaluation from here and came in. I am so happy that I did! Both doctors are nice and caring! Based on my x-ray results, turns out my spine had shifted. I've dealt mostly with Dr. Helena and she did my treatments. I must say she is very smart! The best! Very affordable! I had many stubborn and debilitating back, neck and shoulder issues that had plagued me for more than ten years. Dr. Tsourounakis has corrected all of them over the course of six weeks. I had been to numerous orthopedists, physical therapists and chiropractors over the years with varying results, but never a cure.
