I have been a patient of whitestone chiropractic for the last year now. since day one Dr Syat saw me first and I saw Dr Siegel on different days. I was in bad shape I had not been adjusted in nearly 5 years. let's just say my cracks were loud but the relief I got with the first one with Dr Syat I had tears all that suffering I had built up. Pregnant ladies! I've been seeing dr. Syat for about 2 years now. When I found out I was pregnant, I was definitely a little nervous about getting adjusted, so I spoke to Dr Syat and my OBGYN who both said it's perfectly healthy and very good for me and the baby! I'm due any day now and I've had a totally normal and healthy pregnancy. I was only getting adjusted once a week in the beginning of my pregnancy, but now that I'm nearing the end, I'm definitely benefiting more from an adjustment 2x a week- getting realigned made a huge difference in any lower back pain I had. As I got bigger, I worried about laying on my belly while getting adjusted- but no worries, their table has a feature to lower the middle of the table, so as I got bigger, I was totally comfortable laying down because nothing was touching my belly. I've had very minimal back pain/sciatic discomfort during my pregnancy. My baby is head down & in position- pelvis is totally aligned- she's ready to go! If you're hesitant, don't be! getting adjusted is a great tool for pregnant woman & more people should know about it! read more

Several years ago I was in excruciating pain and couldn't even stand up for more than a few minutes at a time. I first went to a pain management MD who gave me 2, x-ray guided, injections in my spine. The injections did help....but...when one of my wife's friends husbands got an infection from similar shots, I opted to change course and try non-invasive treatment. Going to see Dr. Julie Syat and Dr. Alan Siegel was one of the best decisions that I ever made. Two stars is for being seemingly very nice people with a professionally run office. But I will not be returning for a few reasons (sorry to the owner bc he was very nice but I am being honest and I think I am also giving a fair review). I was not happy with the adjustment to my lower back which was one quick jolt to an area where I have had chronic and serious issues. This motion actually exacerbated my lower back pain which has been otherwise in check lately. But I admit the adjustment may work for some people and Chiro is an imperfect science so I can deal with the pain for now and overlook this bc Chiro's are not one size fits all. But what I don't like is having my shoulders, wrists, and elbows adjusted when I wasn't there for that, wasn't warned, and didn't sign up for that. I actually have issues with hyperextended elbows and an anatomical abnormality in my right elbow that has plagued me with tendinitis issues that luckily have been in check lately. But he didn't ask any of that, nor permission to adjust anything but my back and neck which is what I clearly indicated I was there for. Those arm adjustments all happened so fast and without warning that I didn't have a chance to process and say stop. But as they were happening I was thinking, oh no, just leave that area alone, I'm not here for that. He repeatedly adjusted my wrist despite me saying that what he was doing was causing me pain, like maybe that was interesting to him from a medical perspective. The elbow adjustment felt like a quick and abrupt hyper extension snap which with my issues is like the worst thing someone can do to my elbows. And after adjusting my right arm in 3 places, sure enough the next day I developed tendinitis/pain running down my right forearm such that I couldn't grip certain things, on day two I have nerve sensitivity causing pain and a burning sensation on the skin running down my right forearm. So again, very nice people who mean well and may be good at what they do, but if u have injuries, better indicate upfront that you want to know everything that's about to happen before it happens. read more

My husband and I were having some back/neck pain and I had a friend recommend a chiropractor. I called the chiropractor that had been recommended and obtained their fees but was completely turned off by the receptionist. I had passed this chiro office multiple times and decided to give them a call. I called on Monday to find out if they had any availability and Danielle, the receptionist, was absolutely amazing! She was so polite and professional over the phone; she was definitely the reason we scheduled. Danielle emailed me the form we needed to fill out so we had them ready when he got in. She introduced herself with a big smile and we were seen right away. I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes. We saw Alan Siegel and he was just a friendly. He explained everything and his bedside manner could not have been better. This was my husband's first time at a chiropractor and he was very happy with Dr. Siegel. I got a groupon deal for my boyfriend because he's been complaining a lot about pain in his lower back and also because i was tired of having to try and crack his back or massage him so i thought it was time to take him to a pro. Long story short, after my boyfriend was done he felt the difference he paid so i can get adjusted too and it was Amazing! (Disclaimer: this is going to be a really long detailed review but certainly worth reading!!) After being involved in the most scariest accident of my life, unfortunately days later I started feeling crazy back and neck pains. I was told it was normal to feel body pain after an accident but after 2 weeks it got worse and knew it wasn't muscle ache or soreness anymore, I felt it more in my spine at this point. So I went to see a doctor to request an X-RAY and had a very negative experience there. First, he told me he won't do an x-ray because I don't have broken bones or fractures and no other doctor will give me an x-ray just because I asked for it. Then, according to that "doctor", he pretty much told me to drown my body in pills and muscle relaxers that he would prescribe to me and HOPEFULLY it will help and if not then he suggested I started physical therapy... which sounded absurd. Why would anyone just wait for something to become malicious THEN seek therapy? SO as the days kept passing pains got pretty unbearable to the point that I would wake up at night from the pain and discomfort. I googled Chiropractors in my area, and Dr. Siegle was the first one on that list with the best reviews and feedback. I decided to give him a shot and from the initial call Danielle, the office manager, sounded extremely welcoming and professional, I LOVED her enthusiasm and I already felt like I was going to get well taken care of. I come in for my appointment and I felt great positive vibes (I am a huge energy person). Dr. Siegle made sure I understood the anatomy and structure of my bones and explained exactly what he will do to fix the problem which is very rare for Doctors to do these days. I finally got the X-Ray I knew I needed and thankfully without hesitation, he granted me one and found a couple of problems with my spine because of the accident!! At the end of my visit I already felt 75% better (obviously its a slow healing process and takes time). And now, I actually look forward to my visits with him not only cause its a mini spa visit, (and seeing Danielle because she is so adorable and super friendly!) but because he know exactly what he practices and does his job very well and answers ALL questions you may have. I absolutely recommend coming to this office. They actually care about their patients and are very lenient with appointments to work around your schedule as much as possible. I have completed about 3 sessions now and I now feel 90% better and I should be back on my feet again thanks to Dr. Siegle!! My sister has major scoliosis and I am going to make sure she comes here as well. You wont be disappointed. :) P.S. not only do they fix you up but he is a super hero... I had a visit today and accidentally locked my self out of my car and DR. SUPERMAN... I mean Dr. Siegle went out of his way to help me get back into my car.
