I've gotten Siberian mink lashes here on and off for a while now, I've also done some brow appointments but it really depends on who you go to so I'd recommend reading reviews and booking with an experienced technician, as I have had a bad lash experience there (way too much glue and my eyes were literally red for days after), but I told them after to only book me with the person I know does a perfect job and they've been great about sticking to that since. Ambiance is great too, front desk is always helpful. I'd recommend finding a good person and then this is your place. read more

To start off, all of the employees that I talked to were super sweet. The lady that did my lashes was such a vibe and created a nice & relaxing environment. They're very easy to talk to there and they make the long duration pretty easy. It was my first time getting my lashes professionally done, so I was kinda nervous, but It's a very welcoming place and they make it super easy to figure out what exactly works for you. They provide you with a blanket if you're cold, and their seats are pretty comfortable. Not to mention that the interior of the shop is super cute and it's clean. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but my experience with Mink Lash Boutique has been so consistently disappointing that I feel it's necessary to share. Despite repeatedly asking for an experienced lash technician -- specifically because I've had multiple bad experiences elsewhere -- I was assigned someone who applied an excessive amount of glue to my lashes. Two months later, I still have clumps of extensions stuck on, and my natural lashes are in the worst condition they've ever been. They're sparse, damaged, and weak. The worst part? This appointment was supposed to fix a previous mistake from the same salon. Instead, I've been left with even more damage. When I raised the issue, the only resolution they offered was a free fill or an attempt to correct it -- but I simply don't have the time or trust to keep going back and forth, especially when I already tried that and it made things worse. It's clear they are no longer hiring properly trained lash techs. The only person I would recommend there is Emily -- if you must go to this salon, ask for her. Otherwise, I suggest staying away. I was tired of the fake lash look so I thought I'd try real Siberian Mink. One of the best decisions I've made. Everyone, even spa facial technicians think my lashes are real. But they look soooooo good. Other places gave me pain for a day or two after from the glue however, at Mink Lash Boutique I've never had that problem. Sometimes a little sting at the end of the session. When I was there on Monday however, I did not feel even a tiny bit of sting. When I want to glam them up I use any regular mascara. Removal is done carefully and slowly by using a non oil based makeup remover in a small spray bottle and a Beauty Blender sponge and lots of hot water. I reuse Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencil brushes to comb out my lashes. I wash them firsts of course. They have a cap so it keeps dirt and lint off of my lash brush. The staff is super friendly and professional. I see Sophie. She is sweet and does an amazing job. I enjoy my relaxing lash naps when I go. I highly recommend this place. read more

Mink is my top choice for lash extensions! This was where I went the first time I ever got extensions, and I'm so glad I did. My friend and I went together and had a great experience. They clearly explained how the extensions work, what to expect, and helped us choose the lengths and styles that suited us best. Everyone there was really friendly and helpful. Getting lashes takes a loooong time (unless you are going for maintenance), so I was really happy my technician was friendly and chatty, which made the time pass quickly. The beds were comfortable, and they gave us bolsters for under our knees, as well as blankets. I liked the ambiance and decor, as well as the lively energy in the salon. I came to Mink Lash Boutique to get my lash extensions removed. I had gotten them done at a different salon, and I absolutely hated them. They were too long and dramatic for someone who was getting lashes done for the first time. I wanted lash extensions that would enhance my natural lashes without looking fake. Sydney helped me to remove my lash extensions. She was really knowledgeable and gave me in-depth explanations on lash extensions that would suit my eyes. I had my lashes PULLED out of my eye from a tech gluing them together and was treated like I was overreacting. THE ONLY REASON I return is because most of the time the lash technicians do a great job and because I have been to many places that do not care about the bed and when you are laying there for sometimes over 2 hours it really matters! My lashes always stay on the best here and I experience the least amount of irritation and no stinky glue smell. I've come here twice in the last month - once to get a full set before my trip to Miami and the other to get a fill post-Miami trip. I love eyelash extensions. I really do. But I dislike the maintenance I've had to do in the past. Previously, my eyelashes have fallen out fairly quickly (within 2 weeks), when they should normally last 3+ weeks. I wasn't sure if it was how I was taking care of them or if my eyelashes just shed quicker than most. Either way, I stopped getting them for a while. But I knew that my upcoming trip to Miami it was going to be very hot and I didn't want to be caking on a ton of make up every day. My good friend had recently gotten her eyelashes done at Mink and she recommended them to me. So after doing a little bit of research and being satisfied with the reviews, I booked an appointment. My first appointment was $100 (not including tip) for a full faux mink lash set. I was welcomed by the receptionist and was told to have a seat. The studio is beautifully decorated, clean, and girly (pink and white decor everywhere). My technician, Ashley, made sure that I had used the bathroom beforehand since it was a 2-hour process. Ashley was awesome. I told her I wanted a full, voluminous look - and she delivered. I believe she was still in training because towards the end of my session, she had to have someone come in and check on her work. Luckily, she did a great job! I was also how well my lashes lasted throughout my trip. When I booked my fill appointment, my lashes were still pretty intact, which has never really happened to me before! My second trip was for a fill. It was $60 for a fill, not including tip. I LOVED my technician, Hannah. She did such a wonderful job on my lashes! It's been about a week and my lashes still look as good as new. I told her I wanted a natural, voluminous look and I was even more happy with her work than before! Okay the back story behind my set I got. I got this set from this lady in Surrey on a Sunday. This girl in surrey did me wrong! She tried to give me 3 d lashes then telling me she can't give me that cause I don't have enough lashes. Fast forward to Wednesday I came to Mink Lash Boutique I called in told them what happened. I told them I just need a fill. I came in I forgot the girl I saw but she was so sweet super nice. She was telling me how the other girl glued the lashes really badly on my lashes. And then she proceeded to fill them. I really like the way she applied the lashes I didn't feel it and when I brush my lashes I don't feel the where she glued the extensions on to the lashes!! Omg so good! I didn't think I would be able to get the volume and look I wanted with the singles she put on but damn! I'm so happy she is bae I'm for sure coming back. TIP!!! I usually use Yelp for everything, so it was no exception when I decided to get eyelash extensions. I am the kind of person that is willing to pay top dollar for good customer service and product...but this is NOT what I got when I came into Mink Lash Boutique. First of all, they have the WORSE customer service. The staff that works here are so rude and not friendly at all. I decided to give this place a few chances and thought that maybe this person was just having a bad day or something. I have gone here 4 times total, and after my 4th time, I will not be coming back. So first of all, lash extensions are expensive no matter what... it's something you just need to get over. I think most girls are willing to pay a little extra to get top quality. When I think of top quality, I think of the service and the experience...which means being nice and friendly to the customer. I have seen the following girls at Mink: Kathy, Tiffany and Mika. Mika was actually lovely and did an amazing job. She was quiet but friendly. Kathy, was good as well. AVOID TIFFANY, she will ALWAYS find a way to over charge you... and she is SOOO RUDE! I am not going back here... which sucks because I need to find a new lash place. But I am just tired of constantly being ripped off and unsatisfied with my lashes. All of the technicians at Mink are quick and professional. They have tons of time slots, and can usually fit you in, even in just a day or two notice. The lashes last well, longer than any other salon I've been to. I called in a panic needing a fill last night and the sweet ladies at Mink were kind enough to stay open and fit me in. I had my lashes done about 4 weeks ago and surprisingly they still looked pretty good to me but I knew it wasn't long before I looked like party leftovers. Allison was my tech and commented that my lashes looked very messy and that the previous place I went to didn't do a great job. I think this is a lash thing ( like Italians with meatballs; theirs are the best). I didn't engage in the lash trash talking but just asked her to try her best as I didn't want to have a removal and pay for a whole new set. I opted for half synthetic and half Siberian to obtain dark, full but natural looking lashes. Allison gave me so many options about shape and length. I found it a tad overwhelming to be completely honest. I would have preferred if she looked at my face and said this will look best but I suppose other people are fussier than I am. The location is fab, the decor is wonderful and the playlist was so on point!!!! At no point did I feel like I was being up-sold which is nice. I docked one star because the tech was very quiet. I tried to engage in conversation but she wasn't really chatting back. I took it as she was concentrating plus she seemed to have a bit of a cough so maybe she was just trying to be polite. The stylist took the time to ask me what look I preferred and took my eye shape into consideration, the result was fluttery and natural. I don't understand the past reviews that don't say anything about how unfriendly and passive aggressive the customer service is here (well, some do). My appointment is coming up in a couple weeks and I'm already dreading it. The main reason i keep coming back is because 1) love my personal lash technician and 2) Decent price for great quality lashes, that's about it. The owner and mainly the receptionists know NOTHING about providing decent customer service to their long-standing, loyal customers. They put zero effort in being nice, as if they're the only lash salon in town. I've gone here for a long time and the receptionists have been nothing but rude each and every time, giving snobby side-eyes and I've never seen a single smile. I get serious sorority vibes and passive-aggressiveness here, which doesn't make me look forward to my appointments, but rather dread them. At certain time they have been straight up rude to me and it's very disappointing to see nothing has been done about their attitude problems. The worst part is that they constantly try to UPSELL you. I've read online they have to do this because the owner pressures and intimidates them into doing so, but just some advice to management -- if you want to keep long-standing clients and recurrent visits from the same person (which btw is how you grow a business properly), STOP TRYING TO PRESSURE THEM into buying brand new full sets just because it's a little over 3 weeks! Even if it's 4 weeks or whatever, it's not like we are cheating your business by paying for a full fill WITHIN the allotted 1.5 hr time frame. Rather, you're simply losing customer satisfaction and LOYALTY, which I feel would be your priority rather than upselling customers to the point where they don't want to return anymore. My friend who goes here feels the exact same way. In summary: Let us buy which services we want and when we want, while providing a smile rather than a sneer. FYI. I had a great first experience at Mink. This was my second time getting lashes, and my tech Anna was so sweet and professional. She explained every step of the process, and checked in frequently to make sure I was feeling comfortable. I got a half set as I wanted something fairly natural looking, and they turned out exactly as Anna described in my consultation. It's true what they say, it's easy to almost fall asleep while you lay back and get your lashes done. This experience far exceeds my experience at Noir. I can't even feel the lashes, they are light and natural looking. Great, friendly customer service, and qualified technicians who seem to love what they do! I used to go here all the time. But they have a new receptionist who is absolutely atrocious. I tried to rebook with my usual lash tech and the damn receptionist played 21 questions guessing game with me when I was trying to rebook in. Finally I asked 'So she just never has another Monday ever?!' to which the receptionist icily replied 'No this is her last week.' After that, I decided that I shouldn't have to struggle to book in. I also have heard a few other girls experience difficulties booking or being constantly booked with different techs even though they request a specific one. PS I work next door- I immediately walked by to see who was so rude and it was some blonde chick just sitting at the computer. Not busy. Just didn't want to book me in I guess. I got my eyelashes done here 3 days ago for the first time and I got a chemical burn in both eyes, I have been to the doctor twice already because they don't get better. I normally do lash extensions for 3 months then give my lashes a break for a few months.So I knew that this would be my last full set, with 2 fills after and I kept hearing about Russian Volume techniques and saw pics on the Internet of how great they looked. So that's why I went there for my first full Russian Volume set and 2 fills before I gave my lashes a break. So as I wrote my first review, when I got my first full set of Russian Volume at Mink Lash ,my extensions looked amazing and were perfect as my review says. I went back 2 more times for fills( and they definitely didn't last as long, but fills don't seem to last as long as when u get ur full set) But they were still good. Then I took a lash break for a few months and kept my lashes healthy, strong lashes. So I went back with healthy but short lashes, excited cause my last experience I loved. Nancy did them again( full set-Russian volume), my gf got a classic set cause her lashes were destroyed by another place. So she was finished way before me, anyways I could feel Nancy rushing on my left eye(the last eye to be done), I guess cause my friend was ready, she felt the need to finish quickly. I didn't say anything because then I would think maybe it's my imagination "......so I kept quiet. I was right though cause when she said she was done, I was stunned and even said "already?" Cause the last eye took about 45 mins and the first one took about an hour and half. They looked amazing though, so I thought what the heck and we left. Less then 3 days later, they were falling out more and more and by the 5th day, I had lost 75% approximately on my left eye ( the rush job)and approximately 40% on my right eye. I called around the 5 th day and talked to the owner and told her what was happening and how unhappy I was, so she said to come in, in the next few days and Nancy wld do a fill earlier. I'm remember thinking how unfair that was, they should be fixing it, not charging me for a fill. But, I rolled with it. Anyways,I asked her if she could redo them instead of Nancy and she ignored my question and kept saying Nancy is free..... this day.....So I asked her again, "can I please just get u do them instead?"She pretty much said: oh don't worry,Nancy will fix them. After the 3rd time of her just sluffing me off to Nancy, I just said "forget it" And hung up. I was so upset and mad( btw, I asked Nancy where she learned how to do Russian Volume, and who taught her and she said "myself, it's really easy". ( Not true, I read about it all over the Internet how different it is and that u definitely need training.) That was also a huge red flag with me on top the rush job. And now all my extensions were falling within days)?! Long story short, I let them just fall out naturally and cried when I saw how bad my left eye looked compared to my right, I had lost most of my lashes. And this is from one full set and 2 fills and after not having lash extensions for at least 5 months and they were healthy when Nancy did them. I've been wanting to leave another review since Feb2015 because I had given them 5 stars from my first great experience in November 2014.But after my horrible experience sometime in February 2015 I wanted to let people know what happened. I would probably never would of left a negative review ever, if I hadn't given them 5 stars. I don't like to do give bad reviews. Went here for a full, faux mink set. I have been getting lash extensions for 8 years now and my lash technician has retired. You can call me difficult because I'm so used to a particular service; it's hard to replace some one and a service you have lost. After searching for months for a new lash place, I've decided that this is the one I'm going to keep coming back to! I'm disappointed with my most recent lash service, as the application took long, and the lashes turned out to be too long, looking spidery and lacking the volume that I want. I showed the lash technician a picture and I know she tried her best! All of this comes with experience though (on both our ends), so if you're getting a cat eye, it's best to have a 3-point mm range (ie. I went with 11mm to 14mm, but should have gone with 13mm). I am also surprised that it took all of two hours for a full! The girl I was with ended up putting a single extension on my lower lash line and that was painful. My eye wouldn't fully open and we had to wriggle that little guy lose! As well, that same eye was also red when I woke up. Glue definitely got in there. However, it is A-OK because the redness disappeared in less than half an hour. This says a lot about the type of glue that they use (I've had redness last two days from a different salon). On a different note, I've had three lashes fall out already and all I've been doing is reading at a coffee shop. Mink Lash Boutique is a beautiful, hidden gem. I strongly recommend this location above Noir (glue doesn't sit well for my personal preference), and Lash Venue (prices are not fair). They even provide you with a leg pillow. Everything is clean (lash brushes) and from what I have seen, sanitized (tweezers). The women that work there are so friendly and do their best to inform you of both the product and the service. Most importantly, the lashes they use at this location are of extremely high quality. The faux mink is not plasticky, and light on its own merit. The Siberian is feathery and delicate. Other tips: - if you're going there to nap, bring ear plugs or play music - take a break after one eye is done! You'll be there for two hours in total, sit up and stretch it out - bring a sweater or wear some sleeves - I was freezing in my tank top - full Siberian mink feels feathery, looks more natural and loses its curl in heat. I think most clients get the extensions for the volume and to avoid wearing mascara, so I recommend doing faux - try a senior lash technician, if you're used to getting your lashes done at other places read more

I mean, out of all the places I've gotten my lashes done, they're the best deal. For the same price, I get double amount of lashes compared to other places around dt. However, I don't think I'll be back (at least anytime soon) because the technicians were kind of bad. My friend and I came together, and we both experienced discomfort all throughout our sessions. I had my eyes poked, and the technician accidentally put lashes (that curve upwards) on my bottom lashes. It was painful for her to pull it off, so she had to ask another girl to take it off instead. For my friend she got her eyes poked that she had tears coming out her eyes, and her eyes were subtly puffy by the end of it all. For the price and the amount of lashes, mink was definitely great; otherwise, it's really disappointing. Service was okay, a little wait (which I didn't mind) for the appointment. Frugal as I can be sometimes, but I don't think I'll be back. I'd prefer to pay a bit more in order to get better work done. read more

I had a horrible experience with eyelash extensions 3 years ago at a Vancouver salon - the woman applied cheap synthetic lashes and within a week the lashes were clumping together and pricking my eyelids! Then about three weeks later my lashes were falling out and I had bald patches on my eyelids. I was told that this happens when the extension is applied clumsily and not to each individual lash. I was apprehensive about getting extensions again but I am so happy with my eyelash extensions from Mink lash boutique. I got the mink ones and they are so natural and light. I am a bit confused as the receptionist said she would grab or talk to the manager to only advise to give me a lash removal. After my nap punctuated with bursts of snoring, I woke up with a new set. But the real test would be how my eyes stood up to the tape. The redness disappeared within five minutes. Huge success.
