Like many I found myself in need of an Honest Mechanic during the HOLIDAYS…read more After "research" i.e. viewing Youtube video's. I knew that it was not with-in my abilities to make the repair. The required specialized tools alone would have been an investment. After calling around I had a couple estimates that made my stomach turn. The tone of voice received from many service departments did not give me a sense of ease or willingness to work with me. Then it dawned on me to call a good friend to hear his recommendation. Thank you Gene ......shout out to WA Tractors ;-) Never stray far from "word of mouth". So I called over to Lynden Service Center and spoke with Jim: who was understanding, courteous and kind. They were able to get my truck in expeditiously..... "Darn Quick" I figured on receiving a call in the morning with the regular: we need to replace this, that & the other thing ........ NOT a CHANCE!!! What I got was, your truck is done and your total cost is this ((( Much Less ))) than anticipated. Thank you Lynden Service Center Peace JP

After my SUV was totaled, I spent SIX miserable months dealing with dealerships that apparently…read morethought I was blind, clueless, or both. Every lot swore their vehicles were "clean," yet I'd show up and immediately spot scratches, worn interiors, or straight-up missing features within minutes. Exhausting. At this point, I wasn't a "difficult customer" -- I was just done being lied to. Then Chad Chambers Auto Sales stepped in and made every other dealership look like amateur hour. Chad actually listened to me, they had the exact fully loaded Highlander I'd been hunting for, verified every detail I cared about, and made sure it arrived in the condition I expected -- not the condition someone hoped I wouldn't notice. His team even delivered it straight to my house for a solid price. After months of nonsense, Chad ended the chaos in one shot. Absolute legends.

Previously I've done my own oil changes, but I simply didn't want to do it this time. I searched around and the nearest location I could find that could fit me in was 20+ miles away and it wasn't clear that it would be done until later tonight. Then, I realized I should check with Lynden Lube. A quick call showed that I could drive up and they'd fit me in. I drove the 10 minutes to the location and entered a very nice welcome area. I was greeted and when I explained what I needed they took down my information and took my key. I sat down, booted up my computer, figuring I could get some internet work done. It seemed that I'd barely logged into their guest wifi (nice touch) and opened my browser, when they called my name. I went up to the counter and the service was completed! Synthetic blend oil change, new filter, checked and topped off all my fluids (ie, washer fluid, brake fluid, etc...not gas :-) They even vacuumed the inside of my car! :-) The total price was equal to the larger chain places, but done in a fraction of the time! I was in and out in under 30 minutes and my CRV was happy once again! I highly recommend Rob and Lynden Lube & Auto! Your mileage my vary, but I know their efficiency, care and service will pleasantly surprise you too!

Derek, the salesperson, was incredibly easy to work with--very personable, knowledgeable, and never pushy. Gauge, the manager, was just as great. Both of them made the whole process feel relaxed and comfortable, which is not something you always get at a dealership. What really stood out to me was how easy it was to work out the price over the phone ahead of time. There was no high-pressure sales tactic when I arrived--everything we discussed was honored, and they were very fair and reasonable on pricing. The car itself was exactly as described--clean, in great shape, and no surprises at all. That level of honesty goes a long way. Overall, this was one of the best car-buying experiences I've had. I would absolutely recommend Emerald Motors to anyone and will definitely work with them again in the future.
