    Confession: I've never had my car detailed before! But 130,000 miles (and thousands of Uber/Lyft…read morepassengers) later enough was enough. It. Was. Time. Especially after this last year where I've barely even vacuumed it. I looked for detailers in my area and used Yelp's Request-a-Quote feature. Jim from Whatcom Mobile Detailing answered within minutes, and while I eventually received three quotes his was the most reasonable for what I needed (interior detail only). He answered all of my burning detailing questions and we set an appointment. He even confirmed the appointment a few days beforehand, which I appreciated. What I really liked is that he came to me for the detailing! I didn't have to drive anywhere. He has a detailing trailer and showed up at the scheduled time with all of his own tools and equipment. The only thing he needed from me was the car key. A few hours later my car is barely recognizable. Gone are the crumbs, the dirt, the mud-caked floor mats. And even though my son's dog jumped all over the back seat a few weeks ago with muddy paws...you couldn't even tell. Everything is simply immaculate. In fact, I'm seriously afraid to even drive it now. It looks TOO clean! I'm afraid to mess it up!

    I've gone to Lynden lube for service for a while now and didn't have any issues until now. The wait…read morewas typical, and pricing is still fair however, the motor oil that was left on the hood of my car and my driver's side window were an unexpected and disappointing surprise. The guys behind the desk were helpful and gave me a full refund. Unfortunately a refund doesn't provide an answer or a solution as to how half of the hood of my car was covered in motor oil. Initially I thought that they just hit a little careless while washing the windows when I thought what I saw was window cleaner on the hood. Turns out they'd gotten oil on the hood and driver's side window. On the driver's side window it looked like someone had lazily tried to wipe the oil off, but instead ended up just smearing it around on the window. That mix of oil and water has gone down into the window seal and now when I roll my window up and down that oil and cleaner mix just smears all over the window. Lastly, every single button or switch in my car was adjusted and not put back. Sure, I get it you might need to reset a thing or two during the service, but those things should be set back to how they were found, and not left up to the customer to restore. Happy for the refund, but disappointed that we won't be bringing our vehicles there anymore, and suggest that our friends and family do not either..

    First, I've driven by this location numerous times a week, but didn't give it a thought, until…read moretoday. I needed to have my oil changed in my new to me CRV. Previously I've done my own oil changes, but I simply didn't want to do it this time. I searched around and the nearest location I could find that could fit me in was 20+ miles away and it wasn't clear that it would be done until later tonight. Then, I realized I should check with Lynden Lube. A quick call showed that I could drive up and they'd fit me in. I drove the 10 minutes to the location and entered a very nice welcome area. I was greeted and when I explained what I needed they took down my information and took my key. I sat down, booted up my computer, figuring I could get some internet work done. It seemed that I'd barely logged into their guest wifi (nice touch) and opened my browser, when they called my name. I went up to the counter and the service was completed! Synthetic blend oil change, new filter, checked and topped off all my fluids (ie, washer fluid, brake fluid, etc...not gas :-) They even vacuumed the inside of my car! :-) The total price was equal to the larger chain places, but done in a fraction of the time! I was in and out in under 30 minutes and my CRV was happy once again! I highly recommend Rob and Lynden Lube & Auto! Your mileage my vary, but I know their efficiency, care and service will pleasantly surprise you too!

    SHADY. I'm extremely disappointed with the poor work and damage, and dishonesty, and I DO NOT…read morerecommend this company. The owner said he was a man of his word and would refund for the service, and pay any damages, but is now avoiding me (after my patiemce for 2 months) I will have to pursue (good thing I've kept all his texts, and paperwork from mechanic). I am a busy single working mom, and was treating myself to a much needed detail. I was excited at first that the new owner RJ came to my job to pick up my car while I worked, and he even made a cheaper deal with me because he had to reschedule my original time due to him being sick. The day he did take my car, he dropped it off early, so I couldn't thoroughly look over (I had to come out from my work quickly), but together we discovered the water he got on my things in my trunk, and missed spots on the seats. He also said he sprayed under the hood- which I specifically said not too (I have in text). When I got off work, sitting in my car I noticed wax smeared on the windows, a dirty cup holder, missed spots, and a lot of moisture that took a long time to defrost out. That night, my car wouldn't accellerate thru an intersection, and I could barely get it home (only 2nd gear the whole way). I had to bring it to a mechanic the next morning. RJ said he would refund my detail bill (due to dissatisfaction, and for aditional worries & inconvenience I had to deal with), and pay the mechanic bill- in which it was discovered that water/moisture had gotten in/near the computer under the hood. Although my car ended up being fine and drivable on the 2nd day (apparently things dried up, and they had reset the 2 error codes), I was out ADDITIONAL money because of him. Unprofessional, terrible service, and dishonest.
