This company is rightfully named. It's not "Car Liquidators" for a reason. It's "Liquidation Car" because it's the car that DOES the liquidating-- of the buyer. I have a friend who bought a car from them that blue books at about half of what he spent. The car has had many issues right out of the gate. When my friend takes the car back, their shop charges him for work that doesn't address the issues. Because my friend had to take the car in to another shop and pay for the repairs, he fell behind on the payments but was in constant contact with Sharron at the dealership and was working with her in catching up on the payments. With no warning, the dealership decided to repossess the vehicle while my friend was at work. He called Sharron asking what had changed with their arrangement and she simply said 'well I have a manager too'. My friend called me and I paid what was due and a $495 tow fee just for them to leave the car with him. If Sharron had notified my friend that they were going to have to repo the vehicle and they no longer could accommodate him, he would have had an opportunity to come to me without a $495 tow charge. I understand that repossessing a vehicle may be necessary, but according to my friend, he made arrangements with them. I trust that this is so because I have heard him on the phone in the past with them giving them all he could, being respectful, as they continue to bend him over the barrel. In my opinion, this company's business model isn't selling cars at value. It's a predatory lending model. read more

I decided to go to this dealership because elsewhere their ratings seemed so good. But as others had pointed out, those ratings must be made by friends and family not legitimate customers. And after what I saw and experienced I am disgusted that companies like this are allowed to take advantage of people. I had my 8 year old daughter along as I test drove 2 vehicles. They had no issue trying to sell me vehicles that were going to bust down not long after I purchased them with my child as a passenger. The first vehicle was a jeep. Looked decent for its age. But upon driving it I could instantly tell it had transmission issues. Its was screaming to shift to 3rd but couldn't. It also was billowing smoke out from behind it and the brakes were nonexistent! So irresponsible to sell a vehicle in such condition in my opinion. I decided maybe it was just a fluke thing and to give one more vehicle a test drive. It looked nice, but was older than my current vehicle. Drove ok. But when I decided to pull into a parking lot to check headlights, and to check for leaks,ect I put on the parking brake. I could not get it to disengage. I had to drive it back to the lot that way. I thought if they could fix that I would still be interested in the car. I needed a all wheel drive for the winter. I let them know of the problem. They said they would have the mechanic look at it while we did paper work. So we went over terms. They wanted 10.000 for a vehicle that was worth no more than 2000.00 They called this vehicle that was a 2004 VW something part of their "Premium" inventory. Lol. I was doing this paperwork all the while running the numbers and the actual value of this car and what else could go wrong with it that I wasnt seeing when they came in to check in with me. I asked if they had the parking brake looked at. She hadn't. The look on her face was almost irritation. That was it. I was done. I took my paperwork, and in the time it took to get ourselves into our car and ready to go I saw them take this vehicle, and park it right back in the sales yard without it being looked at by the mechanic, just like they did the jeep. I worry about all the people who are without any vehicle unlike myself, who go there desperately looking for a car, or those who dont have any mechanical knowledge of vehicles, and ending up with 300.00 payments on over priced vehicles that are nothing but piles of junk. I made the mistake of trusting this company. I had previously bought a car with them when they were in downtown Bellingham on Iowa st. I paid off the car. no problems. Unfortunately, I went back to their new location on the Guide Merdian . I was desperate after my vehicle was stolen. They took full advantage of me. Long story short, after first selling me a lemon, they exchanged that vehicle and for another, overpriced with high payments and 20000$ down . They promised to lower my payment later. Instead , they sold my contract after a year. The new company, in Texas , made it extremely difficult to call and pay over the phone montly, raised my payment also. After a year of stress with them they repoed my vehicle after 10 days late with zero notice. They called once while I was asleep. I had been calling daily 5 days prior and they would not answer . I had paid off 6000$ / half the loan. It's a scam folks. They wanted 2700$ to get the car back as some hostage negotiation . All the hard work to help my credit score with 2 years payment on used vehicle . Ruined . Now I have a worse score and a repo record. Don't fall for it. read more

I haven't bought a car here this is just my experience as a shopper who's interested. To paint a picture, I've had my car for 7 years but 14 in total as age. I figured it's time for a new car, when I got there I couldn't find a good spot to park(or maybe I'm blind) but there also wasn't anyone to ask. I drove around the lot for 5 min. I ended up seeing someone who I thought worked there to ask for parking and he said,"there looks good to me!". I didn't find out he wasn't an employee until I went inside to ask him a question When I got inside I was trying to get my eggs in order and a picture of what to do. As I'm telling the woman at the front desk she just didn't seem happy. I mean nobody likes there job, but it felt like she didn't even want to sell me a car. I asked what were good options and instead of sending someone out to help me look she just pointed to a group of cars and said those ones. I wanted help just to ask questions on brands and durability. The trump flags along the fence were so overbearing I couldn't even focus on the cars. Like the ENTIRE fence was pure trump 2024. I don't care if someone has flags up for their preference cause I'm just there for a car, but as a business it's extremely unprofessional. Like one or two gets the point across. There were more flags than cars. She did give me a card for questions but what's the point if there's no one there to walk around to help? Isn't that the point? To encourage buyers? I was really skeptical about the company but seeing all the reviews it makes total sense and I'm so glade i didn't waste my money on a potential lemon. read more

They are upright the most dishonest people ever. It absolutely was not in our contract that they could move our account over to Mid Atlantic Financing without our permission, and when asked multiple times they said, "Governor Inslee just changed the law and said we had to move it over because we have too many customers". And when complaining to the BBB, they said, it was in your contract, which it was not, and therefore they are changing their story again. The car was supposedly safe, and checked by their lousy, fraud mechanics, but when we brought our car to AR mechanic just a few days after the purchase, he said it was sold to us illegally, with how unsafe it was, the brake pads were literally worn to the metal, and you know what their response was? "When you purchased the car you said it was fine and that only the AC was bad" which they also said was fine and not broken. I replied saying, how would we know the brake pads were worn to the metal when we purchased it? We are not mechanics!! And the false advertising of this place is absolutely ridiculous. They make sure to brag brag brag!!! About how they have in house financing, never giving any clue they would sell our account. Not only that, but after we told them we were going to refinance the car, they said, "have the credit union give us the cash, and we will get you the title of the car faster". Oh yeah?! And still owe mid Atlantic which actually physically now has our cars title? Don't think so! But don't worry, they'll get what's coming to them, they claim Jesus is their God, but I'm sure Jesus is furious with how these people throw his name around for their love of mammon. Are the deceitful business practices I've been subjected to (ie, adding hundreds of dollars to the price in the contract unbeknownst to me, selling my contract to MAF when it clearly states on the back of purchase order it may be done "upon written notice," stating the tax, license, and registration fees are all included when they're not, charging me TWICE; $150 for documentary fee which is to cover license and titling fees then another $154.25 for the VERY SAME THING, etc) a result of your dealership just struggling due to the pandemic or, a result of the owner needing the extra $$ to fund his trips to places like the US Capital on January 6th? YOU FAILED TO REPORT MY 1ST/MAY 31st payment to MAF which has now failed to appear on the credit report you're not supposed to be reporting to in the 1st place. You also lied to MAF about how much I owed (stated I owed more than I actually owed) at the time you sold/violated the contract/agreement! You literally sold my account without the written notice it clearly states must be provided to ME PRIOR TO DOING SO! I DID NOT HAVE BAD CREDIT WHEN I PURCHASED A CAR FROM YOU! My score was close to 600 (not the greatest but not the worst either.) I wanted to leave my credit alone and that is why I went to a dealership like yours! Now that the payments I have made haven't been deducted from my balance and the car is looking more and more like a flood vehicle, and I refuse to give you another cent until it's all rectified, MAF IS DESTROYING MY CREDIT!!! Why is your name is still on the car? I am reporting MAF as a fraudulent account. I never agreed to any of this (especially the extra $6.00 everytime I make a payment!) I want them removed from my credit report. Oh, and all those text messages you sent were something else I never agreed to (which happens to be against the law unless your customer signs something giving you permission to contact them via text message. Which I NEVER DID.) I could go on and on and on (ie these issues are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to my particularly, horrible experience with your dealership.) I was in a pinch to get my daughter temporary transportation and found this place! We were given some honest recommendations and walked out with a $1000 Daewoo. We took it for a check up the following day and it was assessed as a great running car with new tires, brakes and mechanically sound. Once her car is repaired it will be no problem getting our money back on this one. read more

The staff here are complete idiots. I bought my car here. I have one payment left and its paid off. Since the very first day I told them I would make my payment on the 21st of every month. They said thats fine. However every month I get harrassed on the 20th about my payment. I tell them everytime I set it up for the 21st. They always say they will put a note on my account. I kept getting texts and phone calls. I got one today and the lady says the same thing again. They really need to get office people that know what they are doing. read more

This place is awful, please do not purchase here to save yourself a headache. They sold me a car that was perfectly fine on the test drive and inspection but started leaking antifreeze under gas pedal that day, maybe 3 hours after purchase. they claimed it was a misunderstanding and that it should have been fixed but they didn't tell me any of this beforehand. When we brought it back to have it fixed by the auto shop they "partner" with, but really seems like it is the same owner/company, it came back to us with a huge crack in the front bumper. They fixed that as well but did a horrible job. Then, just over 2 months of having this vehicle the transmission needed replaced. Since it is as is there was nothing they would do to help. And when I took the vehicle for a trade in, my on time payments were not reported because of the in house financing so I couldn't get the best rate on my new vehicle. They are only out for themselves. Completely unethical, extremely disappointing. This place is out to take advantage of people. Please do not bring your service here. read more

I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I will never do business with them again or recommend anyone else i know do business with them! I purchased a SUV from them and it needs repairs. I was asked to make a down payment for the repairs by Sharon. In The amount of $350. I made the deposit and then when I called to see why the repair was not yet completed. Sharon said oh I'm sorry we have forgot to call you for over a week and half! We decided you had to pay for the whole repair upfront. I explained to her that I completed my part at her request. I had to argue to my $350 refunded. I finally was refunded but I feel like i was lied to during this entire transaction! BUYER BEWARE!!! Take your business elsewhere!!!! I know I wish I had! I now have a car that is in need of over $1000 in repairs and oh yeah I am still making car payment on. I wouldn't give them any stars if it was possible. We got in a really bad situation and needed another car quickly for our family. So we trusted these guys and it was the biggest mistake on our part. On our way home from the lot, our check engine light came on. Shortly after finding out the car needed a whole new motor, the clutch went out. We had been paying on a car that we didn't have the money to fix. It has been sitting in our drive way while we try to save up to fix it but the whole reason we bought this car is because we are in a tight financial spot. Long story short, we couldn't make the payment on time this month. They started texting us at 9 am on the day the payment was due saying if we didn't make our payment that day, they would repo the car and garnish our wages. We tried talking about the situation but they just kept saying the same thing. Texting and calling many times during the day to tell us the same thing. They finance in house. They could have made this right with us easily and kept us as a customer. But we aren't going to make a broken down car a priority on our list of bills when times are tough. And instead of making this right and showing good customer service, they harass us and leave us with nothing. They repossessed our car 12 days after our payment was due. read more
