    DANGEROUS VEHICLE
    Jane J.

LONG - BUT WORTH THE READ PLEASE *CAUTION* Where do I begin. First off I would caution anyone to go to this dealership, as they do not sell quality reliable vehicles and even worse - sell dangerous ones without proper inspections. Their customer service is awful, and they treat you like dirt from the get go. First off, the main person you deal with goes by the name "Sergio" who does not technically work there according to him - but rather volunteers his time to be there so he said. So... initially we though that was sweet of him until we found out that no one else really pays attention to you or spends time with you there either. You're left alone for hours waiting and waiting on someone to help you and when you do get someone you still end up waiting forever. We were trying to talk about the price of the vehicle with Sergio until he became immediately flustered and angry and went to go get his so called manager involved which took even longer and we were ignored once again. We saw the co owner and manager yelling with Sergio from what looked to be a heated argument. Finally, we were able to speak with a manager or co-owner and bought one of their Audi Q7's because we needed a bigger vehicle for our family. I was told it went through inspection and had been shown the carfax so I believed in their so called "family service" that they offer customers (they say you're part of the family now) which is a complete lie. My brother in law and I drove off in the Audi to not only discover that it had severe water damage and it started raining and the interior of the vehicle became wet on each side of the front cabin, but even worse THE BRAKES FAILED. We were getting off the freeway, got a warning that came on a few times on the dash and all of a sudden we could barely stop the vehicle before swerving to the right to avoid all the vehicles in front of us, and almost hitting the guard rail. We were so in shock it took us a minute to process what happened and that we were okay - we tried to restart the vehicle, and move it away from the freeway to a safer location and the breaks never came back. We drove it down a hill and barely made a turn into a park & ride to call for a tow truck to come and help us which by the way was at 10pm or so at night. Completely ridiculous and DANGEROUS. How is a dealership allowed to sell vehicles with NO BRAKES? We could have been seriously injured or died, let alone also other people could have been as well. we had to call my fiancé's father who has a tow truck to help since no companies were available and I had to miss work since I work night shift. We contacted the dealership immediately through email and left a voicemail as they were closed at this time. We came back and we should have just dropped the vehicle off and left after what we experienced ... but for some reason I decided to give them another chance because they seemed to somewhat care about the situation being how serious it was. Even sitting with the owner, they showed up late, and were telling us that if lawyers had been involved with this situation it wouldn't matter because the owner's brother is a lawyer... which doesnt matter - I'm sorry but when you are completely in the wrong and endangered our lives and say THAT to us... we shouldve walked out right then and there but I needed a vehicle for our family and spent so many countless hours already dealing with this. I ended up getting a different Audi Q5. In our contract - it clearly stated that the owner was to install HID headlights in the vehicle per request that they honored. Well, they have been dodging me since I bought the vehicle after I gave them multiple on top of multiple chances to schedule an appointment and there is always an excuse. Moral of the story here if you've made it thus far is, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER if you care about your well being and family. There are plenty of other reputable dealerships that will not do this to you and now the law is involved as well as the BBB, Attorney General, and other various departments.

Shady business dealings. Rude, non-responsive, they will take advantage of you. They buy damaged/salvage/totaled cars from Canada, import them to the US where they don't have history records, and then pawn them off as clean title "accident free" cars. They didn't disclose damage and refused to give me back my money in its entirety. The owner Riad also threatened to tie up my money "for months". The salesperson Sergio doesn't "actually work there" probably to avoid legal liability. The owner also makes a point to tell everyone his brother is a lawyer, in order to intimidate and discourage from legal pursuit. Don't be a victim and find somewhere else to purchase a car. Canadian CARFAX showing 30k in damages they claimed to not know about and don't show up in US carfax.
    William B.

Not a great experience here trying to buy a Blue 2016 BMW X1 M Sport with VIN WBXHT3C3XG5E54275. TLDR: Canadian carfax snippet attached, it was in 4 accidents which totals ~30k in damage they claim they know nothing about. Brief timeline of events 1. Car was up for sale last week, it got taken down presumably because it sold. Miraculously it reappears today so I call them. 2. Guy picks up, I believe it's Sergio, he says "yeah, the shipping costs were $500 extra due to a documentation error so some guy in PA decided against it." I ask some questions and he says "you better hurry, some guy is driving up here from Oak Harbor now but you can secure it with a $1000 nonrefundable deposit". This part is important! I ask about if the car was in any accidents because it was from Canada and he "looks through his email" and says he can't find anything, but they buy from this place all the time so they trust them. I hang up to think it over. 3. I call back and ask if I can make the deposit with stipulations, like having the car checked by a mechanic first and he says yes. Then he says "I've had 6 calls about this car today. Yeah the guy from PA who wanted it his credit was denied or something and he's working on it." Odd, story changed... I hang up and call some mechanics. 4. The mechanic (Andrew?) at "flat black automotive" was great. He told me to look out for rust/corrosion on Canadian cars (salt on the roads more than us) and that he could check it out for me and said if there's any rust/corrosion to walk away entirely. 5. Mention the rust/corrosion and I'm told "we buy from areas that don't really get snow so it doesn't happen with our cars". Call back and ask to put these inspection stipulations in writing and then I'll put down the 1k. They say they don't like to make agreements like that (I can see why now...) and that the car will be brought for inspection tomorrow. But, if I really want the car, I should just put the 1k down because it could sell overnight via their online business. 6. I decide 75$ CAD was worth not having a fucked up car so I pay it and sure enough, attached below is the accident report for this vehicle. As another reviewer points out, it says "auction announced as accident repair". The Autohaus responded to that reviewer saying it "was purchased from a wholesaler that we have had several interactions with and have never had an unreliable nor disappointing purchase". Well, either they need to stop doing business with this wholesaler, they have multiple wholesalers doing this to them, or they're lying. In the end, this dealership is wholesale buying cars from Canada all the time and selling them for 15k+, they should get a subscription and carfax the cars if they want to prevent this, but they don't because they can't be held liable for what they don't know. Even if this car was a steal, the damage was all cosmetic, or whatever; at this point I don't want to give my business to shady people and I don't think you should either.

the car they sold me looked great but it was shit leaking oil no ac of course riad the owner the dick head he is tried to take every measure to not pay for the repairs we paid 275 dollars to have the cars ac recharge 170 previous to that as well , they didn't send out any registration or tag information until almost 55 days later ultimately after riad and the auto gays of Bellingham pretty much refused to fix the car went to several different auto repair centers gathered multiple quotes and it still wasn't what they wanted to pay , BUYERS BEWARE THEY WILL SELL YOU A FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT . have tons of documents of pictures and conversations and also reached out to the state attor general they couldn't do shit so I had to go the lawyer route we shall see how this plays out

    Vehicle at The Autohaus

The AutoHaus sells on eBay, under the user ryoussef. I bid on, and won a 1990 Corvette. I immediately paid the required $1000 deposit. I woke up the next day to find that immediately after the payment (around 2 am PST), they canceled the sale, and gave the reason as "item out of stock." Now, I had communicated with them via eBay messages the 2 days prior and they assured me the car was in great shape, and had no mechanical or electrical issue. Looking back at their history on eBay, they previously had "sold" the vehicle recently and also canceled the sale. Both times the winning bid was much less than their listed price for the vehicle on their website, which, by the way, still shows the vehicle in their inventory, for sale. Looking at their feedback on eBay, they have a history of not honoring sales, and not delivering items won. They've been on ebay for 18 years, so they know the rules and processes. They intentionally are fraudulently listing auctions as "no reserve," but then don't honor the winning bids if the price isn't to their satisfaction. This is breaking a legally binding contract. They are not trustworthy. I feel I have to warn future potential customers.

Honest nice guys, no bs or games, which was very refreshing.

Bruce Cox had good reviews so I brought my car in. I was told I had to replace my front passenger side axel, tie rods and front and rear differentials, transmission fluid service and a little more. I was called and notified of what was to be done, provided an estimate for the work and told my car was already on the lift and they could start now. Since bad weather was forecasted and I basically work out of my car I needed my car back asap and was worried about not fixing it and having to deal with driving in ice and snow. I approved them to do the work. I got my car back in two days and paid a fortune. my first concern was that the "diagnostic fee" wasnt applied to the overall work costs, It was in addition to. Not my normal experience but what could I do? they refused to discount the Dx fee. I paid and drove home. The following day of driving my car, the front end was vibrating so much and I had evidence of an oil leak on my driveway. So I took it back in. They told me nothing was wrong, showed me a video of the underside of my car and said there was no evidence of an oil leak. So I picked my car back up and within a few days the noise that brought me in the first place was back. In the meantime I contacted Subaru dealer had them assess what was going on and they reported the driver side axel was bad and needed replaced highlighting that the rear differentials were over filled and leaking, my transmission fluid still looked dirty despite the service I had done at Bruce Cox and the cost for fixing the driver side axel and tie rods at Subaru was 1/2 the cost!!!!! and the Dx fee was applied to the overall cost of the work done. I feel that I was financially taken advantage by Bruce Cox and despite the work they did having a "warranty" I don't trust taking back. Super unfortunate for my wallet and lost faith in them. Hard lesson learned.

My experience with Audi Bellingham was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I have ever had with a dealership. I reported serious concerns about my vehicle and instead of receiving professional help, I was sent back and forth and asked to repeatedly document issues myself. The process felt like a constant runaround rather than a genuine effort to resolve the problem. I interacted with Brittney, Travis, and Jack, and unfortunately the level of customer care was far below what anyone should expect from a brand that presents itself as "luxury." Communication was dismissive and unhelpful, and at no point did I feel that the dealership truly wanted to solve the issue. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability. Instead of taking responsibility and working toward a solution, the situation was repeatedly delayed and pushed aside. After this experience I completely lost confidence in Audi and decided to move on. I ultimately purchased a brand-new Mercedes GLE, where the buying experience and customer treatment were professional and respectful -- exactly what I expected from a premium brand. Audi promotes itself as a luxury manufacturer, but my experience with Audi Bellingham's service and customer support was anything but luxury. I hope Audi of America takes customer feedback like this seriously and works to improve how loyal customers are treated when they need help.

I popped the hood, and my friend felt around an said, "I can feel the bulb." The woman suggested he remove the battery for more room to work and the task was completed in about fifteen minutes. Two questions occur to me: 1) Was Honda aware that such a quick and easy fix was available and simply attempting to take advantage of my ignorance? I hope not. 2) If not, why did these certified professionals not know such a quick fix was available, if my amateur friend went right to the root of the solution? I went in to discuss this, and received a polite hearing. To be fair, the service manager called me soon after and explained that they did not often work on Acuras and that by golly once they realized they they had such a quick and easy fix they would have done it gratis.
