This is the best camp I have ever been at. The counselors are very nice and polite. And on my first…read moreday of camp, I was very shy and nervous. But then my counselor was polite and I got less shy with him. The activities there are very fun like you get to go in the lake, they have a basketball court soccer field, football field and a baseball area. And a lot more. I started going here in 2019 and kept going and now it is 2022 and close to summer of 2023. And I am 100% going there for my fifth year. If you have never gone here you should definitely come here.

And we return every year…read more There's so much for the kids to do at Nobles, the kids love all the choices, and they come home completely exhausted (which is a good thing). The staff is awesome, Nobles hires many teachers and professionals from local school systems. The camp offers swimming instruction, and free swimming every day and it's a very big camp. However, if there is a issue (we've had 3 in the last 4 years) DO NOT expect and communication at all! They ignore emails.. if u call secretary says she will have counselor whatever dept you have an issue with call you back.... no call! If you call and ask for the director... she is always unavailable. So if your child has any social issues or needs a little more help and you as a parent need a good line of communication this is not the camp for you! Your child gets lost in the 800 or so other children that go there.

Bringing hale down a few notches. Since the pandemic started, Hale has had to make up for funding…read moreby charging people a $10 day parking pass or a seasonal pass which was fine. Since then, they have operated at almost normal capacity and now rent out the main beach, run camps etc. I think they can let go of the parking fee or at least reduce it. They claim it's to pay for things like roads and services etc. well I haven't seen one road repaired in the years I've been going. Because of the parking fee I definitely go less. I went yesterday with my two young sons and a party rented the main beach. We were told we couldn't fish off the dock but then gave us a little time before the party started which was within minutes of us being there. The kids decided to play in the sand and shortly after was told they couldn't because of the "party". Another woman was way off to the end of the beach with a baby less than a year old, and she was told she couldn't be there. None of us were interfering with the party and it just felt wrong for a Saturday to reserve a whole beach area to a party. Especially when the party wasn't using the whole beach. They should coordinate that a little better to allow for the public to use a certain area during times like that. They had about 7-10 life guards there sitting under a canopy. Maybe that's part of the problem as far as funds go. They need to reevaluate. Took me a while to get ready for a short day of fishing with my boys. Loading up the car, cooler, walking to the area and basically leaving after 10 mins was a wasted day. I could of gone somewhere else and enjoyed the sun. Was frustrating. The place could also use some upkeep to the trails and landscaping to allow for more areas to fish from. I've complained about hornets nest near trails where I was attacked one time and nothing was done. Keeping clear paths allows for a clear view rather than heavy cover where you can't see snakes (which I've also encountered), and avoiding ticks. Just a few things to point out since my first days of experiencing Hale.

Had such a great time at monster Mini golf! They had special hours for school vacation week and…read moreopened at noon. When we arrived, there was already a line but we were able to get in for the first round of golf. Like others have said, it's pretty small in there but Lots of things to look at and the monsters were pretty cool looking but not in a super scary way. Each of the holes had different levels of difficulty but overall pretty easy. The arcade was very tiny, but had some fun games for the Littles. None of them were broken like other reviews have said. They games do not accept quarters you have to buy a card. The staff was very friendly and helpful and had tons of patience especially the person working the token redemption/prize area. By the time we left, the place was pretty packed so it's probably a good idea to get there right when they open. Playing one round of golf plus $10 in video games lasted about an hour and a half. Plenty of parking in the private lot. There is a small table out front.
