Had such a great time at monster Mini golf! They had special hours for school vacation week and opened at noon. When we arrived, there was already a line but we were able to get in for the first round of golf. Like others have said, it's pretty small in there but Lots of things to look at and the monsters were pretty cool looking but not in a super scary way. Each of the holes had different levels of difficulty but overall pretty easy. The arcade was very tiny, but had some fun games for the Littles. None of them were broken like other reviews have said. They games do not accept quarters you have to buy a card. The staff was very friendly and helpful and had tons of patience especially the person working the token redemption/prize area. By the time we left, the place was pretty packed so it's probably a good idea to get there right when they open. Playing one round of golf plus $10 in video games lasted about an hour and a half. Plenty of parking in the private lot. There is a small table out front. read more

Super fun place. Honestly fun for all ages. My husband and I went on a Friday when they opened and it was perfect timing. We practically had the place to ourselves. No need to feel rushed. Arcade and mini golf available. We only did mini golf this time around and we had some good laughs along the way. Love the black light monster theme. Came on Monday afternoon at 4:30 pm and it was nice and empty. It was great to get out of the heat and enjoy a chill afternoon with my 9-year old son. For $10 for him and $12 for me, it was an awesome and not expensive way to spend a fun hour enjoying each other's company. The decor was super colorful and unique and I appreciated being able to keep score on my phone through an app. The 2 ladies working the front desk were nice and chill. We checked in and were quoted 75 minutes until we could mini golf. A half hour later we inquired how much longer it would be because there was only one party on the course for twenty minutes and were told there was a birthday party ahead of us starting cake... well if there was no one on the course and the party was ten minutes out wouldn't it make sense to utilize the opening? We went to monster mini golf on Tuesday night, April 23,2024 around 630 7:00 PM. While we were there, there were some unruly teenagers trying to damage items and being very difficult. The three staff members that were present were incredibly professional and were able to address the problematic without causing issues and a satisfactory solution to the problem. I had a bachelorette party for a group of 16 here yesterday. I can't say enough about how helpful and nice the manager Jaime is. She made it easy for me and was never bothered with all the times I checked in with my questions. She even put together a playlist of the bride's favorite music, which got her dancing when she wasn't trying to make a shot. Monster Mini Golf on Route 1 in Norwood doesn't exactly proclaim its presence. If I hadn't been looking for it and if my GPS wasn't leading me there, I could have easily passed right by it with nary an inkling of its existence. But heading west, I took a U-turn at the Pier 1 and pulled into their private parking lot. Upon entering the building, you'll find yourself in a dark space surrounded by noisy machines - yes, there was a small arcade between me and the mini golf course I was looking for. The machines run not with tokens, but with quarters, which was appreciated. The mini golf was at the far end. White is the recommended clothing and accessory color if you would like to be seen and rather tough to lose. Balls and golf club both glow as well, and monsters and other fun things decorate the course both in 3D fashion and 2D on the walls. Quite entertaining when you're awaiting your turn. After we handled things at the register, they passed us our putters, but we had to grab our own balls, as well as our own score card and pencil if we wished to keep score. Not the most service oriented staff here - I had to ask for the items before I was directed to where they were kept on the counter. The holes were not straight forward, some knowledge of angles would help here, with the most challenging one - the one hole at the top of a hill - taking half of our group 9+ strokes. I definitely had more fun than I had expected going in. An 18 hole game was $9 per adult, but we got in for half price with help from a discounted voucher deal. Went here for a Birthday Party - The course is like all over the place & fun for younger kids but as an adult I was like UUGGHHH this is frustrating, the holes dont make sense and nothing was an easy shot... Its soo dark & they BLARED Country Music which made absolutely no sense. They gave us a private room in the back & it was actually quite spacious, all the kids working were 15 and were lacking common sense when it came to children, but that is expected as the average 15 year old doesnt have children... My bf and I went here around dinner time during the week and had a lot of fun. I'm sure it's even more fun for kids to go. Probably would make a great birthday party location. There is an arcade as well, we played all the games. Fruit Ninja was great. At the end of our game they gave me a free pass to come again because I had the lowest score. I wear glasses so for me it was a little hard to see the ball in certain spots. A wonderful place for kids. The immerse experience of black lights and (non-scary, but fun) monsters make it fun for kids of all ages. It's a great afternoon activity. I took my 6 yr old nephew here on a Saturday night for one of our "Auntie-Nephew" nights out. I was expecting mediocre mini golfing because of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised! Maybe it was because my nephew and I were the only ones golfing (but then again, who's mini golfing on a Saturday night right?), maybe it's the fact that I'm a kid inside or maybe it's the fact that I'm a beast at mini golf ;) Anyway, he LOVED it, the decor was a little spooky and he got scared twice BUT the next morning he called me and asked if we could go mini golfing again. The arcade is nothing special but it made him happy. He beat me in air hockey even without me letting him win :( All in all we had a great time and we got some awesome pictures. I recently bought a Groupon for this location, it was a really great price for 4 people and you get $20 for the arcade. I only went with one person so they gave us passes to go back. It was actually a ton of fun. The golf order is easy to follow. The lights and music are great also. It's perfect for the family or even a date night. The staff are also super nice and helpful. My friend had his birthday celebration at Monster Mini Golf a few months ago. I had never heard of this before, but as soon as we got the invitation email, I was stoked! I loooove mini golf and while I'm not a fan of haunted houses or monsters, for some reason this intrigued me. Basically, you walk in to a dark building and are immediately in a small arcade. If you walk through the arcade (where they have a pizza vending machine!), you end up at an 18-hole golf course that is all glow-in-the-dark and black-lit. The holes are all connected, which makes it difficult when there's a group of 20 kids immediately behind you (THAT was fun) and it's not as hard or fun as a real mini-golf course, but on a ridiculously hot day or in the winter, it's nice to play mini-golf indoors! And they have good music. I definitely recommend it as something fun and different to do in the area! It took us about 2 hours to get playing and finish (it took FOREVER for them to let us on the course), but it's pretty fun. read more

Made a visit here with a great deal on a Groupon. Went during school vacation so I expected it to be a little busy but it wasn't bad at all. Fam had fun playing games while we waited for our tee time. The golfing was fun and the music was great! I was most impressed with Mara, the girl at the counter. She was pleasant and friendly at every interaction. She helped us figure out a broken game and helped us calculate our gold scores (she read me the numbers while I used her calculator) all while assisting other customers with patience and kindness and true customer service. She was great with my kids as the picked out their prizes and helped them maximize their tickets. All in all, she made a good experience great. So kudos to Mara for her great customer service and friendly attitude during a pretty busy time and making us feel like VIP. read more

Went there today with my son. If you don't care about spending money on arcade games that barely work, it the place for you! I had no intentions on spending an extra $20 to play games that don't work and most don't give tickets to get a "prize". I know it's vacation week for kids, but having a five year old that can't sit still, and being told that it's a 40 minute wait, you have no choice to buy a arcade card. Don't do it!!! I put $20 on a card to wait to golf. Most games (if they work) don't give tickets. Trying to explain to a 5 year old that you don't have 300 tickets to get a matchbox car that I can buy for $1, is extremely hard! On a positive note, the staff was very friendly. They do a great job! Me and my wife decided to have our two son's birthday party here. They like mini golf so we thought it would be pretty cool. Although the staff were very nice and the theme is cool (glow in the dark golf) monsters everywhere and things like that. I would only recommend visiting this place and not having a party. The reason for this is the setup. You bring the food and the supplies. Which was fine. They do the food and cake first which was something different than everywhere else. However the fill up the time with benign games like having one kid leave the room then putting a lab coat on one of the kids in the room. Calling him a ghost then inviting the kid back in to guess which kid from the party had the coat on. Ok once maybe twice but this went on for 25 mins. Then finally they do a game to give out the prizes that come with the birthday package. Things like a superball or Dracula teeth. Pretty lame. After cake it's to the golf course. An illuminated glow in the dark disaster. The kids all lined up with zero idea of what to do. The like a train started smacking the balls aimlessly toward holes that's were not very clear. Not to mention that this is open to the public so there's people walking through your hole as you are playing. Lastly as part of the package kids were given cards to use at their mini arcade. This was fine but in my opinion should have been done prior to golf. Or golf first then arcade. Not to mention we were rushed out of the party room which apparently you only have for the first hour. The kids have been looking forward to come and play monster golf but how can we if no one calls or emails us back about our small group outing? Our 8 year old and 20 of his classmates had a GREAT birthday party here. Booking was super easy online. We chose the VIM package so that we would have the whole venue to ourselves in the morning before it opened to the public (figuring that keeping track of 21 young kids would be hard enough). The KIDS HAD A BLAST-- glow in the dark mini golf course (although easily navigable and we had 2 kids w/mild vision disabilities), games conducted by Jaime (who, BTW, was TOTALLY awesome, on-it, friendly and unflappable by any 2nd grade shenanigans), and arcade, pizza and juiceboxes (we were able to bring our own cupcakes, veggie platter, even a frosting eating activity-- some venues do not allow bringing any outside food which was a deal breaker). The venue clearly has a set playbook that works w/minimal or no need for parents to do any work :) They also call 2 days before to make sure we are all set in terms of ordering pizza and juiceboxes thru them. This place is pretty for from Lexington . It took us about 30 minutes to get there, but boy is it cool. Pulling in the building is a bit understated, but then you walk through the doors and you enter a glow world of monsters and mini golf. We had a really fun time playing our 18 hole round, and then hanging and playing some video games. Super fun! read more

A few tips for when you visit Monster Mini Golf: 1. When they say that there will be a 10 minute wait, it really means 45 minutes. 2. When you purchase a card to play the video games, expect that the card will get stuck in the machine and you will have to beg to get someone to open the machine and retrieve your card. No big deal to me but others were getting heated. 3. The card is pretty worthless because most of the video games are out of order. 4. When you try to claim your two cent prize for the tickets that you win in the machine, the counter staff will leave you multiple times while they help other frustrated customers so it will take 30 minutes to get a worthless prize. 5. Most of the customers fart a lot so the mini golf area will make you want to puke. 6. The staff really doesn't give a crap about their jobs, the business of the customer. Other than that, it's a great place. read more

Monster mini golf was not what I had imagined it to be, but for $7.50 a game, whatever. Much like Meh, I pictured people dressed in bad Halloween costumes wandering around and scaring little kids. No such thing, but I guess the big mechanical foam monster in the corner was sufficient enough. I mean, it DID scare the bejeebus out of Jenna at one point. RRROOOOAAAARRRR. I might not do this again (unless I have kids of my own one day), but I'm glad I tried it out at least once. I was the worst of my team (team YAY GAY) and promptly received a "get one free practice" card upon finishing up the 18 holes. I did, however, also win a few tickets for having the yellow golf ball and was able to stock up on some more temporary tattoos and a couple of plastic jumping frogs that I later lost at TC's. I hope you brought a lint brush. There are a variety of "monsters" littering the course but most of them are more comedic than scary. Except for the fat blob in the corner who randomly farts and growls - that thing could make you pee a little if you're not ready. Also, the tweenie DJ blasting the HOTTEST music is fairly scary as well. Please don't look at me...or breed. Make sure you stop by the delicious restaurant on your way out the door. Good for kids, not good for anyone older than 10 yrs. old. I thought it was a waste of money - I mean $12 is cheap for my son and I, but still we were done in literally 10-15 minutes upon entering and it wasn't quite worth the drive down. To be honest, I felt like telling everyone who walked in to turn back around. We were lead to believe that this would be a scary, monsters jumping out at you, freaky kind of place. In actuality, it was painted with tacky black light reactive paint, and the monsters were a watered down type of Spooky World spin-off. Yeah they had some cool props, but the advertisements, website, etc. made us all think we were getting something way more original. WRONG. I guess I was expecting a teenager sort of scary golf course where on each hole there would be some sort of animatronic Freddy or Jason type character trying to fuck up your game. Or maybe it could have been a preteen monster golf course with a "Goosebumps" or an "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" theme. But it's more along the lines of "Monsters Inc." monsters and foam graveyards sticking out at random parts. The whole place is blacklighted [blacklit?] so I could see all the lint on my black shirt. The place was teeming with tubby 8-year-olds and their sad sack parents waiting for little Junior to take 10 strokes on hole one. We started golfing on the purple course while Madonna's "Crazy For You" was blasting. It would have been more fitting if they pumped "Monster Mash" on a constant loop. Probably the only scary thing was at hole 15 or so which has a giant sleeping troll who's hooked up to a Crate amplifier and snores and farts every few minutes. Or it could have been the condoms we found in the pockets of hole 1 and hole 2. I managed to get a hole in one on the last hole where you have to shoot it up the tongue of some clown but no free game. WTF? In any case, I should have saved my $7.50 and bought a pizza or mini hot dogs that come out of a vending machine. The machine even has a diagram that shows that the food in the vending machine goes from the freezer area to the oven for you to enjoy. Hot vending machine pizza. Crazy! Just to note, the Monster Mini Golf website states in Nickelodeon slime green font that "it's not so scary that...meek adults would not want to come" so all you wussy types can still go. Whee! And for around $300,000 you can have your own Monster Mini Golf franchise. But anyway, it's still mini golf and I love mini golf, especially when I have a par of 61. Aces! read more
