Set lunch (pad thai + small bite sampler + egg coffee) + pomelo salad = TASTEEE
    Beata H.

Pleasantly surprised by the flavours! The two of us shared one lunch set menu and a pomelo salad. It comes with an entree of your choice (rice or noodle dish), and a small bites sampler. The spring roll was A-MAZING. Next time we would definitely go with a full order. The pad thai could use a little more fish sauce but I could just be accustomed to the taste in US. The highlight of the pad thai was the freshness of the shrimps they use. Now I know Ive been eating frozen shrimps all along =(. The Pomelo salad is a refreshing accompaniment to go along with the meal, with crispy shallot and a hint of fish sauce. Oh and the egg coffee ($15 upcharge from the set menu)!! It was brûlée on top. Im done. Bill came out to be just at $200. We were perfectly satisfied. So glad we found this solid place out of the many options in and around the plaza.

Of the three dishes I had here, my favorite was the grilled pork neck, followed by the tom yum with the green curry at the bottom (because it is on the sweeter side). Since there are so many food options just a stone's throw away from every other restaurant, I'd dine elsewhere before deciding to come back again. MY ORDER x1 Tom Yum Soup x1 Green Curry x1 Grilled Pork Neck TOM YUM SOUP: ($136HKD =$17.58USD) I have no qualms with this Tom Yum soup. While not the best Tom Yum soup I've had in terms of depth of flavor, it was still very tasty. I appreciate that it was full of ingredients like mushroom, fat headed shrimp, tomatoes etc. I also enjoyed the splash of coconut milk on top. GREEN CURRY: ($118HKD = $15.03USD) If you like sweet coconut curries, you'll enjoy this. Filled with Thai eggplant, basil, mushrooms and your choice of meat, this was definitely a bang for your buck. Curries are an amazing pairing with rice, if only the rice ($15HKD = $1.91USD per bowl)bowls were cheaper here. Since I'm not a fan of sweet curries, I probably won't order this again, but I will note that this curry was not as sickeningly coconut sweet as the curries you'd find in the U.S. GRILLED PORK NECK: ($118HKD = $15.03USD) The fatty neck was grilled in a sweet and savory barbecue sauce and would have been a bit too decadent if it weren't for the vinegary dipping sauce it was served with. Even though the lemony fish dipping sauce is sour enough to make you wince when consumed on its own, together they make this dish. This also comes with a couple shrimp chips...that taste like pork floss (unfortunately, I don't know what this is). ENVIRONMENT: Nice and modern looking, this restaurant was apparently remodeled with an upper and lower level. Expect to eat with light tin utensils atop of tin dishes. The air conditioning, while initially an excellent respite from the sweltering heat outside, was a bit too strong for my liking as the food cooled down too quickly, but it may have been set so high to accommodate government mandated indoor airflow. CONS: - pricey compared to other local restaurants - air conditioning was too strong TIPS: - while i thought the green curry was too sweet, it may just be that I find all coconut milk based curry too sweet

We live in LA where there's a plethora of Thai restaurants on every block, and LA is known for their large Thai community. While they may not be the most authentic food, it does familiarize us with the smells and spices of Northern and Southern Thai cuisine. Having said that, we felt this little joint was just a cut above ALL the Thai restaurants we've had. With a group of 6 people, we ordered somewhere around 10 dishes. It was overkill but soooo good and I still dream about the food to this day. I highly recommend getting anything with seafood in it. They're right next to the ocean and all their seafood tastes super fresh and so juicy. My favorite dishes of the night were the Penang seafood curry that comes in a delightful coconut shell, the Satay skewers, the spicy beef salad/larb, and the fried prawns with fried onions and sweet/sour sauce. It was amazing! The only dish that I would say to avoid is the pad Thai. We get that a lot in America so I just wanted to see how it's done abroad. Pad Thai was fairly bland compared to everything else we had here unfortunately. Seating indoors with AC or outdoor patio area. Cute place and hope to return again one day!

The one shrimp and oysters we got were the size of flip flops. Everything was very tasty and I am in love with the curry crab. After you eat the crab, order some hot roti and clean the plate.
