I'm not gonna lie this is probably some of the best chinese takeout I've ever had. They will say it's 15 minutes on the phone but it's usually way faster than that. Prices are amazing and the food is very flavorful and cooked well. Expect that plate to be HOT and you will need to wait a little bit for it to cool down. Love this place. read more

Better than average. Not too greasy. One complaint is they use a really small container for The dumpling sauce. Can't dunk the dumplings. Not a reflection on the quality of their cooking which is good. Just worth mentioning because it's unique to only this place. Here's the deal, sometimes you do not want to see where your Chinese food is being made because places like this exist. First off, it's in the hood. Don't believe me? Some dude walked in, gave the cook $3, and walked out with 4 Newports. Hood. The entrance/waiting area here had 2 bicycles, some folded cardboard boxes, and a straight up industrial sized trash can filled with trash/food sitting there. The pictures of the food were all faded, the floor had missing tiles, and oh yea, on a 30 degree night it was 30 degrees in this place and everyone was cooking with their jackets on. When my food was gonna take a little longer the girl up front actually suggested I go sit in my car to stay warm. Ok, now that you've read that and accepted you are still going here let's talk about the food. Most of the people I saw come here ordered fries, fried chicken, and tostones. The people working here spoke Chinese to each other, Spanish to most customers, and English to me. Super impressive! Also, super impressive that they cater to the area and sell the food the neighborhood wants. That said, I was here for Chinese. The dumplings were the perfect dough-to-meat ratio for me, thick wrapper but big. The dumpling sauce was terrible, and there is a picture of the small little cup it comes it. Almost had a vinegar taste to it- not good. The bbq ribs were not very good. Fried rice was bland, and mostly just overcooked yellow rice. Veg lo mein was almost awesome, but the flavor was also just a little bland (though the flavor that was there was good). Egg roll was great. Main courses were chicken and garlic and general tsaos. The chicken and garlic was great! Lots of sauce and really excellent flavor. Probably some of the best we've had in the area. General Tsao's had a perfect fry- nice and crunchy, and good heat... but the flavor was odd. Overall though, entrees were solid. Appetizers just didn't go over and this place is such a dive I won't go back, but for a local option (especially if you never have to step foot in here) it'll get the job done. read more

I love this spot for some quick Chinese food. The owner is pretty funny and talks to you in Spanish when you call, lol. I've had quite s few items from here but my favorites are the friend chicken wings, shrimp friend rice, and shrimp in garlic sauce. They're always open late and delivery comes quick, the only downfall is they only accept cash, which is inconvenient since most people pay with credit/debit cards. Placed two orders of chicken wings through Grubhub and only received one. Mix ups can happen and I love to give people the chance to correct the error. When I called Ming Hui back, at first they tried to tell me that I didn't order what was clearly on the app, actually raising their voice to do so. Then, they basically said Grubhub didn't tell them that there were two orders so I have to chase it up with them. Seeing as the Grubhub receipt said two orders of chicken I have a hard time believing they didn't get the order. It would be fine if they weren't so dismissive about it but they should learn to treat their customers better. I won't be back. read more

So if you're in this area and you're in the mood for Chinese food late night, this is your place! They're open until 2am most nights during the week. I assumed they didn't deliver past a certain time so my boyfriend and I stopped by to order. Walked in, took a few minutes to look at the menu (mostly just to look at prices because most Chinese takeout menus are the same) and ordered. Waited less than 15 mins for our lo mein, wonton soup, boneless spare ribs, & fried chicken wings to be ready. Wasn't as salty as I was afraid it was going to be. Definitely good for what it is. We'll have to see how late they deliver next time because as we were leaving, one of the workers was taking an order over the phone and asked if the person wanted delivery or for pick up. I'm going to be completely honest I did not like this Chinese food and typically they're usually all the same to me but this one was different and not in a good way. The broth in the won ton soup was the darkest I have ever seen it in my 30 years of Chinese food, the chicken in the chicken and broccoli was really large like kind of disturbingly large, the egg roll tasted like old grease. It came in a timely fashion but the taste was off. I just really DID NOT like this Chinese food!! read more
