Food was abundant and delicious! Service was decent... 2 waitresses teamed up. Cute lil spot.

We stopped here randomly on our way to Palisades Colorado and we were not disappointed! This place is in a small town with a beautiful wooden interior and patio. They even sat us at a table with south hanging lake pictured which we just came hiking from! For drinks i got an espresso martini which was average. It came with the shaker with some left over martini that didn't fit in the glass which was generous. I got the salad and the fillet with mashed potatoes for dinner. Also pictured is the 10oz bistro steak. The salad was crispy and fresh only thing that i thought was weird was that they didn't have Italian dressing. Everything about the steak and sides for the entrees were excellent which we were not really expecting to get from a smaller town. The cheese/house demi glaze on the fillet was phenomenal. One thing to add is that the steaks tasted completely different with the sauces we definitely preferred the fillet sauce but the bistro steak was not bad. We were not expecting sweet mashed potatoes which we normally aren't a fan of but these were thick and tasty. We even ate the carrots and zucchini which we also normally aren't a fan of. The sauce and everything put together elevated the whole dish and sides. Overall i would recommend stopping by this place! They have a huge martini selection and all of the food exceeded our standards. The prices were also reasonable. We had no complaints and the patio area was really nice with the fire pit.

Wedge salad

Food was fantastic. The wedge was amazing and the miners mash potatoes were so good.

Exceptional dining experience in Silt Colorado! Service was quick and knowledgeable. The martinis were amazing and you really get two in the shaker! Ordered the Basalmic glazed salmon and the beef medallions. Big portions and very tasty. Recommend making reservations.

Food was outstanding. Our waitress (Summer) was also outstanding. No complaints at all and will be back if we are back through town.

10 oz Filet with Portabella mushroom sauce

Absolutely wonderful experience. Pleasant, attentive staff. Rustic atmosphere. Enjoyed reading the owner's story on the back of the menu. Huge, fascinating variety of martinis. Delicious food.

Lobster tail, calamari steak, rock shrimp, boar shanks, and steak sliders. Everything was amazing!!!!!

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Our waitress summer was very attentive! Love this place and will come back too next time we go to Glenwood! It's a need to go place when visiting!!!!

First time here on a Tuesday eve. We were seated in the rear dining area. The flies were terrible, made it hard to relax and enjoy our drinks. My husband enjoyed his wild boar shank dinner. I ordered the Kobe beef sliders, which tasted like dry cold hockey pucks. Very disappointed. The dogs loved them.

Truly one of the best dinning experiences I have ever had. The use of locally sourced meat from CCR and Law's Bourbon is such a great add. The atmosphere is trendy and cool, way above an average "mountain town" dining but still warm and friendly. our service was absolutely perfect. Food - the steak tartare is completely unmatched in presentation & preparation. I love traditional steak tartare but this was a really great take on it. The menu has a considerable presence of peas and beans incorporated into this dishes which is a unique touch from other high end restaurants. The dishes were amazingly plated, and the tastes were so tremendously brought together with quality. Do NOT miss the pistachio tiramisu. The absolute best dessert I have ever had. Words really can't do it justice! This is a spectacular dining experience for any city!

After a trip to Rifle Falls State Park I stopped at Shanghai Garden for an early dinner. The wait staff was awesome, very attentive and helpful. Very prompt with beverage refills. I enjoyed hot and sour soup, and it's among the best I've ever had anywhere. The cream cheese wontons were very good, too. But the icing on the cake, so to speak, was the orange beef. I'm a big fan of orange beef and have tried it at restaurants all over the world. Shanghai Garden's orange beef is the BEST I'VE EVER HAD. The beef was fried perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. This is a very hard dish to prepare correctly. Previously, the best I had ever had was in New York City at a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant off Broadway. And theirs was tangerine beef, but close enough for comparison. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend this great little gem in Rifle, Colorado.

For this restaurant, the find was almost like that. We (while enjoying our quick spa getaway in town coming from the greater Denver area) found this place after a disappointing experience with another similar restaurant nearby as it was closed for a private party that night. We were in a dire need of finding something alternative. As we were walking around town earlier that day, we did notice this place. After checking to make sure that it was truly open (not again, right?), we rushed there to fill our empty stomachs. The experience? It was quite good! Despite its unfortunate setting (downstairs in one of the buildings on the busy main street in town), what they can offer is worth the mention. Ambience?? Good! Fairly small restaurant but the layout is efficient where it can hold at least 50+ people when it's packed. The bar is the most ambient part of the restaurant where copper top was most fitting with chic looking lightings hanging from the ceilings. As long as the weather permits, seating in the patio is available. Three men collaborated to assist us for all of our needs during our fairly quick dinner. Time was barely 5pm. The night was still very young. Other diners eventually streamed in and it was at its 50% capacity by 5:50m. By the way, this experience was on a Thursday in mid-April of 2026. Here is what we got: -Justin Cabernet $15 per glass -Mediterra Super Tuscan $15 per glass (I had this one. Justin which my daughter had was better than mine in my opinion.) (The selection for wine by the glass is a bit small; they could easily add a few more to both the white and the red) -Starter bread (complimentary; later one of the men came to refill it by adding a few more slices. Excellent starter bread) -Mussels alla Crema (Cream based. They can make it with red sauce as well; $18) -Torretta de Malanzane (An eggplant burrata dish, $17) -Brassato (A gnocchi dish with braised short ribs, $30) All of the dishes were equal contenders where I simply couldn't pick one winning dish out of them. Each dish's meticulous presentation coupled with the overall seasonings, flavors and complex or perfected texture, their creative dishes are the core reason for their successful restaurant operations is what I gleaned while dining. We, unfortunately, skipped the dessert part as we saw an ice cream place several doors up the street from it earlier. We wanted to immerse ourselves in different dining experiences while our short stay in town so maybe next time we dine here again, we will indulge in their "decadent" dessert treats.

While we were there we saw multiple parties leave because of the wait time. It's definitely a popular spot! The food was good, the fettuccine Alfredo with salmon really blew me away. Everyone at the table really loved the red sauce as well. Unfortunately, I'm giving the lower rating because of the service. It took a while for us to get our food, which is fine because it's probably being made fresh. However, one of our entrées was incorrect. They apologized, but it took a long time for us to get our correct entree (chicken parm). By the time they brought out the correct one, everyone else at the table was done with their meal-- i didn't want them to wait and let their meals get cold. It definitely took away from the experience. On a smaller note, we ordered the cheese stick appetizer, which was supposed to come with seven pieces but they only gave us six. I am patient and understanding, mistakes happen! What was disappointing is that they didn't comp the entree or provide any other comp for the inconvenience. They could've comped the appetizer as it was cheaper than the entree, they could have given us a dessert, a drink, whatever. This is a bit of a pricier restaurant so I would expect the service to match and a small gesture would have gone a long way. I'm not going to say you shouldn't visit the spot because the food was good and i'm sure majority of the time it's great-- it's just not somewhere I necessarily want to go again.
