Very helpful and caring people. My therapist is so easy to talk to and the insights he gives has helped me a lot.

I like my therapist but Mindful Therapy Group has way too many automated text. I like reminders that my appointment is coming up but they text & email when your bill is due. An email is enough. They text randomly on a Sunday morning ask for a Google review. It's really annoying. I don't need to be constantly reminded I'm in therapy. Seriously notification fatigue. That's probably something that needs to be addressed in therapy. So they are just creating more business. You'll probably find a good or ok therapist here. But the automation is super annoying. read more

I have been seeing a n advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) for my mental health related medication prescribing needs. It's been a long time since I have felt heard, understood, and especially trusted by anyone in this position. She is smart, perceptive, an amazing listener and very apparently interested in helping me. I will stay with her and would recommend her to anyone that I care about. I'm only giving this place two stars for the ambiance, free tea, and their caring LMHC and ARNPs who have supported me the past years. If not for them, I would've rated them a 1 Star for their rude, unprofessional, and insincere front desk receptionists. I never look forward to coming here because I know I'll have to deal with the front desk. They are misinformed and not adequately trained regarding their clients' health insurance. On occasion, they have been insistent that I need an authorization code for my health insurance but I have access PPO which doesn't require it. On top of that, they only informed me of this 30 minutes before my appointment which I had to frantically call the insurance on my way there. I have also received voicemails from receptionists who called unprepared and left a voicemail saying only "uh...hi...uh I'm calling about ...uh ... hmm... haha... actually please give us a call back. Thank you." For an establishment dedicated to supporting mental health, I expect to be welcomed with kindness and attention but this is always lacking when it comes to Mindful Therapy's Fremont clinic. I can't speak for their other clinics as I have not gone to those but I have voiced my concerns with my providers. With the increased copay costs, I question often whether it's worth it to even go here anymore despite the service I am receiving from the contracted providers. read more

Got an appointment with a therapist and psychiatrist relatively quickly and my insurance was accepted. I've been billed incorrectly multiple times though, the therapist I saw was extremely condescending and didn't listen to me, and psychiatrist has now recommended a drug i have reminded 3 times that I'm allergic to. You can probably find better treatment options elsewhere. read more

I felt totally taken care of. I wonderful person who helped me match to the right provider when I first called in. He found the right fit and got all the details organized including the insurance part. Then a great experience with my new therapist over zoom which is not always easy. I have been seeing Lolita for about two months now and followed her from the Mountlake Terrace location. I love her new location! The waiting area is spacious and comfortable and decorated really well. They offer tea and water. I always come in early to catch my breath before my appointment and it's a lovely space to do that. The gal the runs the front desk is really nice as well and seems to have a great choice in music! A cute space is great and all, but the therapist is the main attraction right? Lolita is great at what she does. She's professional and honest without being to harsh. You can tell she really knows her stuff. I've seen two therapist prior to this and never felt like we were really getting to the core of the problem I was seeking help for. Working with Lolita is different. I describe it as scrapping burnt cheese off a pan! Therapy isn't always fun, but I'm incredibly grateful that I found a person I can be honest with about the process and I know the not so fun stuff is happening because we're getting to the root of the issue. A few twist and turns in life landed me with Lolita and I'm very excited to see where I am after working with her longer. I feel like working with her is expanding my mind and improving my life with healthier coping skills. If you are considering help, do it. You will never regret that hour a week you dedicate to a healthier mind. read more

I have no idea how their therapists are because I have tried three separate times to schedule (some with counseling, some with psychiatry) and each appointment has been cancelled- some without notice. I know to some extent provider schedule changes can't be anticipated, but three times in a row seems like more than a fluke. It's hard enough to reach out when you're struggling with mental health issues without having to call over and over again and get your hopes up for appointments that never happen. I hope they do better for other people. read more

It's staff like the receptionists at this facility that make seeking mental help seem like a burden. O reached out via their website this past weekend, and received a call Monday. I finAlly had a moment to return the call this afternoon and the young woman I spoke with on the phone was incredibly rude and needs some training in humility before they allow her to deal with people who are struggling. I was upfront about needing afternoon appointments, and that I understood if they were booked out a few weeks due to the holidays and such- to that I was told that evenings wouldn't work for their schedule and if I couldn't make an early afternoon appointment I should look else where. I enquired about their Telegraph option, and I enquired of that was also covered my by insurance. Please keep in mind, I'm aware of what my coverage and deductible is, and the woman told me that it wasn't her responsibility to know my insurance plan. If you are looking for counseling, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere read more

Avoid Mindful Therapy. I tried therapy for 1 month with 2 therapists. This was my first go at and I will never try therapy again. One of these two treated me as if I was their therapist. I can tell you they suffer from major depression, recently ended a relationship, moved and have a therapist themselves. Should I know this (and more) from a few sessions with this person? I thought I was the one who needed help. That being said, 5 months later, I'm still receiving bills for this horrible experience and it costs much more than their profile states. Issue I have with MTG is that when you get a call back it isn't the greatest experiance in the world. The callers on the other end don't seem to care, the callers on the other end just don't listen. All you are to them is 'an insurance number'. After explaining to the cold as ice caller that my insurance won't take effect until August first she seemed as cold as ice! After I said that I have a limited monthly income she says: 'Unless you want to private pay aka 'pay out of pocket'. Which I can't afford. Avoid this place. Wasn't feeling it. My former therapist provided their link when she sent me an email. You can't email them. These people don't care. Well back to the drawing board. Ugh why did I even bother. Then the way I was addressed, MTG: Yes I received a message from this number ( my cell #) Correct way to call back: 'Yes may I speak with ( name of person answering phone) Who is training MTG? read more

Having a mental illness is allot to deal with, for sure! And when you reach out for help it's a big thing. I reached out to Mindful therapy group to set up a counseling appointment with a councilor recommended by my physiatrist . I called, left a message, waited a week, called again and finally got someone on the phone . I asked if the councilor was accepting new patients. They told me they would look into it and get back to me. It has now been 6 weeks with no contact what so ever. It's a terrible place to be in when the people who are supposed to help you don't even want to help you. I will no longer be using this group for there services. And once again, am forced to muster up the courage to get help. I do not recommend their services. read more

I really enjoy Mindful Therapy Group! To start, their offices are very beautiful and welcoming. It's a great space, which I believe it a key thing when it comes to mental health services. As someone who gets very anxious when going to appointments, I really appreciate the welcoming energy of their front desk staff. It helps make you feel like this is a place you can confide in, if that makes sense. I also really enjoy my doctor, Naomi True. She is very kind and makes you feel comfortable within just a few minutes of meeting her. And from what I can tell, this is very common with the doctors at Mindful Therapy. From interactions I've seen in the offices, every one of their doctors really cares and puts in the effort to show it to their patients. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a mental health service. And I have to many of my friends. read more

My first appointment has been canceled twice by two different providers. The first time I received little notice and the second time I received no notice. I had to reach out to them to see what was going on. Mindful therapy group is unprofessional and on organized. I should have read the reviews prior to scheduling my appointment. Went there. Dr. lied and said she took my insurance. Had to fill-out about 50-pages of paperwork before Dr. would see-me. Went to 3 Dr. sessions and then got a voicemail on my phone that i had been "deleted" from their system because the Dr. wasn't getting paid from the insurance. Came to find-out that she had never called-in and networked herself-in with that insurance at that location, but she did at the Tukwila location. So it was all her fault that she wasn't getting paid because all she had to do was make 1-phone call and network-herself in at the Fremont location, like she had done with the exact same insurance at the Tukwila-location, and that she lied to me and told me she-took at the Fremont-location also. Instead of apologizing to me for blaming and "deleting" me at the drop-of-a-hat, when it was her-own fault that she wasn't getting-paid, (all she had to do was make 1-phone-call and network herself in at the Fremont location, like she was networked-in with that exact-same insurance at the Tukwila-location, and she told me that she accepted at the Fremont-location also.) She ceased-all communication with-me, had all her little secretary workers (who were "rude-as-hell")-basically hella-stuck-up, one in paticular, who said "well maybe she knows she's not networked-in"- in a hella sarkastik voice, trying to piss-me off, when i said all she had to do was make 1to call United Health Care-"Dual-Complete"-Medicare, (to get her precious money),(which is what she told me she accepted- at the Fremont location, and what my insurance is), but instead of making 1-phone call, and mabey saying, hey, sorry i blamed-you for me not getting-paid, it was my fault that i never networked myself-in at this(Fremont) location, to accept this insurance,(like i'm networked-in to accept this insurance at the Tukwila location),and i told you i took this-insurance when you were filling-out all the paperwork to go here. They basically said "FU" and "You're-deleted"-and blamed it all on me, and acted like assholes about-it, and left me "f'd"-up, trying to find another doctor somewhere-else, and hoping i would be able to still get my meds. This place is screwed-up, basicall ran by a bunch of money- hungry assholes, (at-least my Dr. was) who don't give a-shit as bout you as a person, patient, or human-being at-all. (Or mabey they had some personal-grudge against-me.) I don't know. Could not have been more pissed-off or discusted with my dealings with this Dr. ,or place in general. What happened to me-here is even worse and more messed-up then i'm writing it to be. It would take me about (100)-full pages to really go-over every-detail of the messed-up shit they pulled on-me. I would't go there if i were you. But then again, mabey they had some type of descrimination, or grudge, or judgement that they pretty-much were just pulling-on-me. Recently returned from a 3 month project in LA and I needed to find a psychiatrist for my monthly med management/therapy. Not having any luck with providers covered by my insurance I had found mindful therapy and decided to give them a call. Over the phone the "consultants" I guess you could call them, were very accommodating and professional. I was rather looking forward to the appointment. The self pay fees are high but what psych is cheap? I arrived on time but was having trouble locating the entrance! There wasn't any signage giving me any indication of where to go. After running around and coming up short I called the office. The first person I spoke to, I told her what my situation was and described the parking lot I was in and what I was seeing and simply asked "where do I go from here?" My jaw hit the floor when she said "I'm not familiar with the area." You mean you're not familiar with where you work? You're that oblivious to your surroundings you can't tell me how you get into the office you work at?? Do they lead you in blindfolded every morning?? I was transferred to the person sitting next to them and they were much more helpful. I was able to finally figure out where to go but by then it was 12:09 and my appt was at 12 and for that reason I was told that I wouldn't be able to be seen today. I said "I was here on time, I called you because I couldn't figure out how to find your office and more importantly, I'm out of my medication! There is nothing you guys are able to do??" said that "I could go to an emergency room" with the plastic smile all front desk people seem to have tucked in their back pocket when they deliver news that's detrimental to you but, they could really care less. An emergency room? Who has time to go wait at an emergency room all day for a days dose of medication? What planet are these people on? Anyways, now I'm screwed. For arriving 9 min late (on a technicality, not apathy)I'm not able to get my meds and there solution they offered was to drive to an emergency room. Wow, that's some solid logic there.
