His store was very clean, and displays were well presented. Went in here to get my engagement ring resized. Didn't end up doing it, turns out I just have a weird finger and it's always going to be a little loose. But....the fact that he could have totally charged me to "fix" it and wasted my money, and he didn't, is pretty amazing to me. My engagement ring was a size 7 and had to be resized to fit my size 4 finger! I was nervous about the job, as Mimo explained to me that the ring may appear a little "distorted" afterwards, due to the huge difference between sizes. I have a Victorinox Air Boss timepiece which is very special to me. I'm in construction and beat this watch up bad. After 10 years the number face plate moved. I took it 3 times to different jewelers to have repaired. 2 weeks later it would move again. Being frustrated I put it in a drawer for 3 years. One day I came across it and learned it gained in value by 100%. I then set out to find a jeweler. Mimo's was close to me so I stopped in. I just love a guy that pulls no punches when he told me what the cost was to repair. It was allot more than I expected to pay. But I trusted Mimo when he told me what the magnitude was to repair it correctly. I didn't have enough money to have it done. So they took my deposit and understood it could be 5 or 6 weeks before I could afford the whole cost. NO PROBLEM. I'm a retired senior on a fixed income. Mimo understood my financial situation. The result is my watch is like the day I purchased it. I also needed a new leather watch band. I was going to order a cheap version of the original. Because the original was $125 + on Amazon. Mimo ordered a original for me at his cost. :-) . It seems the older I get the harder it is to find a business that can meet my expectations. Mimo far exceeded that ! I was searching for someone who could change the band on a Raymond Weil watch and after looking at all the positive reviews on Mimo, i called his shop his wife answered was very nice and polite. She told me he wasnt there at the moment but reasurred me that he could fix my watch. So i took it in for him to see it. He gave me details on the type of watch and that he would have to order the band. I initially we in for a leather band but after talking to him i chose the stainless steel link (so glad i did). He not only changed my band he told me he check all of its mechanisms. He was very thorough and honest. Upon picking up my watch i zoned in on a pair of diamond earrigs that i fell in love with.
