Go Order from here for beautiful custom event cookies! I had tried to order here a few times having seen how gorgeous Mimi's custom cookies were and finally was able to align the stars and got a dozen for $78. (In August 21, 2021 I didn't provide sufficient notice for a 9/5/21 party and on 9/20/23 I was trying to get an order for the following Saturday but someone called out sick so they were unable to fulfill the order). I guess the third time is a charm, because on 9/22/23 i ordered and paid so I was finally was able to pick up a dozen up the morning of 10/28/23 and they came out cute! (They open at 10am Saturdays). I had asked for champagne bottles and didn't specify a color and normally wouldn't have picked pink but they worked out great. See the pics attached. The storefront is actually super cute and they have many beautiful cookies for purchase inside...I was going to get more but they were mostly $7+ each and I didn't want to break the bank as they are only good for 2 weeks so if I had extra I was afraid they would get wasted and there wasn't any in the store that would really fit my tailgate theme. The place is located in the grey concrete building (located on the corner of Harrison) and connected in the same building as the chicken wings place. Got a parking spot right in front by the apartments and was able to run inside quickly. They have a cute little casual outdoor patio set right in front which would be great for a cookie/coffee/tea date! The reason for taking off a star is because of the price as it was a little higher then I was expecting and I was expecting some sparkly bubbles around the champs like I saw these the first time...which had more of a white/gold/silver color scheme. I can only imagine the costs to have a storefront and employees so totally understandable about the pricing. I don't eat sweets but tried the cookie and it was ok but don't go by me, there are not many cookies I actually like to eat. Hope you find this review helpful! read more

i ordered custom cookies for my son's baptism as party favors. the cookies came out beautiful and were very tasty. i got a lot of comments as to how nice they looked. they came out exactly as i had requested. note that the cookies are pretty big and run about $6 each. definitely would recommend to anyone looking to order for an event. read more

Wow. If I could give this place less than one star, I would. I walk in to find that instead of the 12 cookies I ordered, there were 24 cookies made. A very nice associate explained the mistake and offered either the 12 or 24 cookie option. When I asked if the owner would work with me on pricing to take the 24 cookies, she refused. Additionally, it should be noted that these were miniature cookies, only about 2.5" and I was charged $4.00 PER cookie. This was the biggest RIP OFF I've ever experienced!! The owner was RUDE, unaccommodating and unapologetic to boot! Not only will she never earn my business again, but I will let everyone know not to support her small business! Great service and wonderful cookies! Ordered a batch of cookies for my boyfriend's med school graduation rather last minute but they were very accommodating and helped me create a set of cookies for my budget! I placed my order over the phone and picked up a few days later. It was seamless! I've kept in mind for other events. We ordered 2 different designs and everyone complimented us on how beautiful cookies were with her boho-themed bridal shower at a Mediterranean restaurant. After hearing such wonderful things about Mimi's Cookies, I am so disappointed to say that I had the most awful experience. I reached out a month in advance to order 18 very simple cookies, 6 each of 3 different designs, 2 of which were personalized. Communication from the start was horrible, waiting days on end for email responses which were curt and did not answer many of my questions. After no communication for 2 weeks, I called the day before the event to ask about pick up where it seemed like Michele had 0 clue what I was talking about and quickly said "They will be ready in the morning". Imagine my surprise when I went to pick up and the 2 personalized designs were generic cookies that I was made to spend $5 a piece on. Nearly 100$ spent on 18 plain, boring cookies!!!! When asked what happened, the responses were, "Well no one is here to fix them" , "That is not what I have written in my notes" and "What you asked for was not possible to do". How is it possible that the owner of the store is incapable of decorating the cookies herself? And what type of business person does not reach out to the customer when something is not able to be done (after assuring me multiple times that they could do it) and instead does what is most convenient for them? I would have gladly asked for a different design if given the opportunity rather than being surprised upon pick up just before the event started. After many complaints, I got a measly 20$ back. Next time I will gladly support another business that actually cares about its customers. read more

I would give Mimi's Cookies LESS than 1 star if it were an option! I gave very specific instructions for cookies I ordered for my daughter's baby shower, telling Mimi IN WRITING that the theme was "Oh Baby." However, she didn't pay enough attention to my email and followed a picture I sent her as a sample instead, which said "Oh Boy." On Tuesday at 9am (prior to the shower which was scheduled for the following Saturday) I noticed that she had invoiced me for "Oh Boy" cookies, and naturally she requires payment up front. When I called to inquire regarding the theme, I was told that they had "probably" already started personalizing them, but she would check and get back to me. At 5:30 that same day, I had to follow up again to ask and she informed me that they were nearly done. When I forwarded my original email, I was RUDELY informed that the invoice stated the "Oh Boy" theme and that this was what the sample picture included. Then on top of everything, she sent me a picture of the cookies she had made; out of the picture/options I had shown her, there were 3 different samples - an adorable striped onesie, a rattle and a rectangle with a scalloped edge. So for $6 a cookie, she selected the easiest one to make - the rectangle with the scalloped edge!!! And let me tell you, they were AWFUL; who makes cookies 5 days before an event? They tasted like cardboard! When I picked them up, she just handed me the box and said, "Oh I'm sure no one will even notice." Not one word of apology for the mix up or an offer to compensate me for anything. I just took the box and walked away... the most horrible customer service I have ever encountered!!! Thank GOD for Lotito's Deli & Bakery in Ramsey; for $3 a cookie, Estella made the most adorable and delicious cookies that looked like a baby onesie with this wonderful icing and piping... they saved the day! My advice: don't EVER use Mimi's Cookies unless you want to deal with someone who clearly doesn't care about her customers! read more

I ordered 10 cookies, 2 dozen strawberries and a "smash size cake" for an engagement party I was having for a family member. I believe the strawberries and cake were through a third party vendor but I paid and picked everything up from MiMi's cookies. Cookies-absolutely beautiful! Exactly what I was looking for and she was creative with the design. Infused Strawberries-very small, small amount of liquor, and not at all the color I asked for. I asked for pink, gold and cream colors with engagement decorations but instead I received cream with gold. Cake-I asked for a yellow cake with chocolate icing then a thick layer of flowers all around the cake. On the outside the cake looked to be what I asked for but the inside was not at all what i asked for. It was white cake with white icing. Unfortunately I will not be doing business with MiMi's cookies again unless I'm only ordering cookies. read more

I had a horrible experience with Mimi's Cookies. I changed my order with a full week's notice and I was still charged a portion of the cost because the cookies were "already made" but not decorated. (This is questionable to begin with because why are cookies being baked 7 days in advance?!) But I agreed to the fee since I was changing my order. Then when I went go pick up my order, I was expecting the to receive both the decorated cookies and the undecorated cookies since I did in fact pay for them. Much to my surprise, I was told that they keep the undecorated cookies to resell - I do not get to take them home. So I paid for them and then they turn around and make money on them!! How disgusting. This is a complete turn off - I feel like I was robbed. Not to mention that the cookies were baked a full week before pickup. So they're obviously not fresh. I ordered 4 dozen cookies from Mimi's for my son's rehearsal dinner. I was very clear with what I wanted, when I wanted them (in 4 days)through a phone call and follow up texts. Firstly when I called to see what time they would be ready the following day, the owner said in "two days", I said "no tomorrow", the owner then said "oh yes tomorrow, pick them up at noon". The following day, I called at 11 to make sure the would be ready and again the owner says " tomorrow" and I said " no today" the owner then says "ok pick up at 3:00". When I went to pick them up, they were not what I asked for and the owner went on to berate me in front of a store full of people for about 10 minutes before finally giving me the order, for which I paid almost $150 while still being berated. The next day the owner decided it would be prudent to text me a long dissertation on why I was wrong and berates me again. The cookie were delicious but the service was horrible. If you want to leave a business, after paying a good deal of money for a product, feeling like you just got scolded by your mother then go here otherwise find another cookie maker. Wasn't worth the mood downer on what should have been a very happy day. read more
