Really yummy breakfast!!!! I love this place. I had a good breakfast here and our waitress was working by herself but super good and I had a really good time.

Who serves the heel of the bread when you order French toast?!?

The staff is so sloooooooow around here, and the food is sub-par. Case in point, when you order brioche French toast, who serves the heel of the bread?

Mimi's Cafe features eclectic decor and a delicious, homestyle menu. I nearly always get the turkey dinner here, and it's incredibly delicious. The sandwiches and soups are excellent as well. Everything about the restaurant suggests a French experience, but the menu itself could definitely be more so. There used to be a cordon bleu; now there are crepes. But you won't find escargot or anything like that--you'll have to visit La Caille if you want a true French meal. The service here varies a lot based on who is serving. I've had borderline rude servers and incredibly kind ones. Sometimes the cafe has been closed on seemingly random days (although now that we're past the pandemic, that may no longer be the case).

Was sat immediately upon arrival on a Sunday afternoon. Waiter forgot to bring tea, muffin, and croissant. However they were friendly! After a reminder about our items, they brought them to us! Ordered an omelet (no cheese) that had tortilla strips inside and on top. It's not listed on the online menu, but that's good because do not get it! The tortillas inside didn't add any flavor and made the whole omelet a weird texture. I tried to eat what I could but it just wasn't good. Friend ordered cornbeef hash with a pumpkin spice muffin. Found a clump of flour in the muffin so the batter wasn't well mixed. Croissant was okay, felt warm on the outside but wasn't on the inside. Led me to believe it was microwaved.

Honestly the best way to go to get the most comprehensive experience. We loved the pasta with the Berkshire pork, we both agree it may have been the best thing we've ever eaten in our lives! Zach was our waiter, he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and a great guide, sharing his insight helped highlight great aspects of this experience. My husband gave the largest tip he'd ever given, and it was well deserved! This was NOT a cheap meal, but it was worth every penny and you definitely get what you paid for. The BEST fine dining experience we've ever had! If you're looking for fine dining and an amazing experience, we'd recommend this to anyone who is willing to pay! I took my wife here for her birthday as she'd been wanting to try it, and we both left just flabbergasted at the overpriced and underwhelming experience we just had. The first two courses were just laughable. A salad that was basically a piece of lettuce and some purée of some kind, and then a piece of bread with mushrooms on top (???). Then a fish dish that tasted like it was bought at Smiths from the frozen section and then a pasta which was ordinary as could be. I lost interest after this, but there was two deserts which looked and tasted exactly the same. The whole experience was snobbish and a precocious slant on the fancy ingredients. In fact, the presentations were all very plain and the flavors unimpressive. A total waste of money and time.

She personally replied to my initial inquiry and stayed helpful, responsive, and organized throughout the planning process. We needed a space where all 14 of us could sit together, and the board room ended up being the perfect fit. At first it seemed a bit tucked away, but once we saw it in person, we loved it. It even has an Amazon assistant for music, which we fully intended to use creatively, but we ended up leaving it on the same band all night because we were too busy talking and enjoying ourselves. We pre‑ordered appetizers, something I wasn't initially thrilled about, but it turned out to be the right call. It saved us from having to coordinate choices with 13 other people. Our group aren't huge eaters, so we sampled the beet carpaccio, which was light but delicious, and the bruschetta, which was also very good. Once drinks and appetizers wrapped up, Jeremy came by to take our entrée orders. There was a pork chop special and a grouper special that evening. I had the grouper, which was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and not a hint of fishiness. Several people ordered the pork chop, which looked fantastic, and the fried chicken was another popular choice. After dinner, Jeremy, who had been wonderfully attentive all night, surprised us by bringing out perfectly cut slices of the cake we brought, complete with lit candles and a cute sparkler for my SO's slice. It was such a thoughtful touch. All in all, it was a truly memorable evening. Huge thanks to Kimi and her team for making the celebration so special. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for private dining or larger group events.
