I have been going here since I was a kid and I've never been disappointed. This is Ultimate comfort food by far. They also some of the best french onion soup I've ever had. So of course what else you going to get before your meal but the best French onion soup. It was awesome. Whenever I even think of french onion soup immediately I think of Mimi's. Then I had a thought. Hey it's September let's have Thanksgiving for dinner. So I had turkey and gravy with awesome cornbread stuffing and cranberry orange and steamed broccoli and a little bread. Who says you have to wait until November. By the way the meal was beyond awesome. If you haven't been to a place that has really good pastries really great food and really down home country feeling this is the place you need to go to. I know there's a lot of competition for comfort food in the valley but Mimi's is definitely in my top 10 read more

Wanted to celebrate Mother's Day on Saturday night. Beat the Sunday crowd! Only 1 busboy, 5 waitresses, only seating at 10 tables! 20 minutes waiting to be seated! It wasn't the Waitresses fault! Food was ok. My waitress was at first, mean but changed when my party of 5 were very respectful and polite. I can see how customers take out their frustration out on the waitresses! Manager didn't make themselves know or apologize to customers! The food coming out was slow and had cold fries. They need to hire a ton of people! Put a bad taste in my mouth! Went there for lunch on Labor Day. We weren't sure what to expect since it was a holiday. Dining room was about half full. We had a short wait only because we wanted a booth. The hostess was pleasant and seated us within five minutes. It took a bit of time before our server came by for our drink order. She seemed harried and rigid in her demeanor. She brought our drinks, and we ordered. We ordered the Mushroom Brie Burger and the Mediteranean Salad with Roasted Chicken. The food took thirty minutes. During that time she brought a muffin that went with one of the entrees and dressing. A food runner brought our food. She seemed really rushed. She asked if I wanted pepper on my salad. Put some on until I told her when and off she went. Problem was that my salad was wrong. Our server came by and realized as soon as she saw the salad that it wasn't the right one. She took it and with apologies said she would have it fixed. She came back shortly with the right one. The food was good. The burger cooked correctly. The salad was delicious with pieces of artichoke, blue cheese and kalamata olives! Tender slices of chicken on top! The muffin was pumpkin with a crumble crust! Our server checked back to see how everything tasted. She seemed more relaxed at this point, even chatting with us. The manager came by and also apologized about the salad. He also told us he would take the salad off. We told him that wasn't necessary, but he insisted. It started out a bit rough, but ended on a good note. This restaurant was extremely dirty every inch there was dust there or paint chips anything you could think of that needed to be repaired needed to be repaired. The wait was exceptionally long over an hour to be seated, and there were only a handful of patrons. upon being seated, we were greeted to a table with a dirty bench seat. Randomly came here with our friends for breakfast. Little did we know it would take over an hour to be served. We placed our drink order in and that took like 20 minutes to arrive. After we placed our food order and that took over an hour. Our group got tired of waiting so we got up, paid for our drinks and left. I spoke with the manager and told him it had been over an hour and no food. I understand that places can be short staffed and things can take longer than normal but over an hour to serve breakfast unacceptable. The restaurant was not even full at the time we got there. If your restaurant has a wait please have your hostess or the server say that upfront so that people can decide if they want to leave or stay. It was unfortunate because I had not been to Mimis Cafe in over 10 years and with this experience I am not sure we will ever come back. read more

We hadn't tried Mimi's in years and decided to try the one at Arrowhead. The food was okay, not exceptional. The service was okay, but a little slow considering they weren't busy. The worst was the bathrooms. Both of them! We were assaulted by the worst sewage smell ever encountered. No, it wasn't the residual of someone having defecated, but the strong smell of sewage which was strongest in the area by the hand washing sinks. Nasty! read more

First of all, when entering this location, we were not greeted for at least 10 minutes, as well as others -not with us -behind us. After we were finally seated, we ordered the Breakfast Quiche Lorraine & Hickory-Smoked Bacon & Eggs. Second - We waited for a bit before a server that wasn't our waitress came by with two plates of the wrong order (Eggs benedict & whatever else). Then our waitress, Pamela brought my husband his muffin. Third - We then waited a bit longer and when our food did come, my husband commented "Not again" are we visiting this location. Fourth - I started eating my Quiche Lorraine and realized that it had not been fully cooked and the crust was 99% doughy. When the waitress finally came to ask if everything was ok, I informed her (while showing) that the bottom & edges were not cooked all the way. She commented, "Oh wow it wasn't microwaved long enough". Would you like another one? But by this time, I had already eaten most of the top of the quiche after waiting so long to get seated & waiting for our food & told her, no thanks. My husband and I have been going to Mimi's forever, but I have to say this is my favorite location!! The service is exceptional and the friendly staff makes sure you are happy with your food and their service!! The manager on our last visit, Elvira came over to see if we were happy with our meal and Myra, our waitress made sure we had refills and plenty of their excellent muffins and breads!! I like the salads and I always ask if they will leave out the onions and I so enjoy the quinoa​ they add as well. Wow. You really do get scammed with how much the food cost and how little food you get. Pictures on menu look normal then they bring out your food and it's tiny. First walking in, it's very pretty. And the hostess were so nice and friendly. Then that about all the good stuff. Our waitress was not friendly and seemed like she didn't want to be there. Never got her name either. The food took so long to come out and again when it did, it was so little of serving. The French toast thing I got was good but not hot at all and slightly cold in some areas. Mimi's it's been a long time! Came on a weekday and it wasn't really busy. The host was VERY friendly and let us pick our seat, he also thanked us as we left. We went between breakfast and lunch but opted for the breakfast. My mom had the oatmeal and she enjoyed it (hard to mess up oatmeal and fruit) our server was very nice so A+ for the service. I had the spinach and egg crepes covered in a mornay cheese sauce. The egg was perfect, spinach and onion severely under cooked and tough. In my experience sweet crepes are made with wheat flour and sweetened and savory crepes like I had are made with buckwheat and are unsweetened, this was the opposite a savory crepe that was INCREDIBLY SWEET, I basically ate the insides and one piece of tough spinach, all in all I maybe dug out 2 eggs a small amount of Swiss, 4 tiny tomatoes and left my crepe shell. I've only been 2 this restaurant twice. order the same thing both times the ribeye. First time was done perfect. second time I got the new york strip steak instead. I did not bring it to their attention, because they would either argue with me (this has happened before) or make a new steak and throw this one out.I know my steaks and what I got was not a ribeye. Also the music playing was some very bad covers of popular songs (minor annoyance). Horrible service, my wife & I walked in today (Thursday afternoon), there was no one to seat us. After waiting 5 minutes, I walked up to a waitress who was behind the counter to advise her. Without even looking at me she said "someone would be right with you" and kept doing what she was doing. She did not advise anyone else. I waited another few minutes and asked a 2nd waitress who said the exact same thing. I watched them both, neither of them went to tell anyone at all.
