Right on South County Trail... nice little place. Gabriella was our waitress and she was delightful. My wife had the avocado toast and she raved about it! I had your standard breakfast fare... eggs, toast ,sausage. Well done! Coffee was good too. Small, 15 tables and a bar. read more

Went here again and it was a pleasant experience. They do have half and half upon request for coffee. Really quick service and friendly staff. I got over hard eggs with homefries and wheat toast- really good. My mom got the breakfast tacos which were good as well. I feel like the cheese should be melted though, it was just shredded cheese on top. We asked for a side of salsa which also made these even better! My dad got a ham and cheese omelette again which is his go-to. It's a very small space so it gets loud pretty easily. It's a great place with good food and service, but I'm really not a fan of the space/capacity. read more

First time at Mimis cafe and it was great! The omelette I had was delicious and the hash browns were not too greasy. Every one was very friendly. I love going out for breakfast!!!! Meg M and I finally came for breakfast after driving by for years saying "this place looks cute!" Well it is cute and the food is delicious. Abby was our server and she was lovely. She helped make some great recommendations and took care of us! I had a delicious cinnamon swirl latte with almond milk to start! We shared a cinnamon roll pancake (love a table pancake!) I had a breakfast sandwich that I was able to modify! We both loved our entrees, drinks, and the table pancake. I need to go back for more!!!! read more

The service was amazing. The restaurant was clean. Im not sure what I was expecting for avacado Benedict but it definitely wasnt what I got lol. I liked the sauce and you cant go wrong w a grilled English muffin but the slice of cheese un melted was a little off. The hash browns were delicious crispy out side and soft in the middle. My bf got a make your own omelet it was good but would have been a lot better with seasoning. I would come back but wouldnt make a special trip for it. read more

Mimi's is a fantastic little place! Delicious breakfast offerings. Eggs were perfect, French toast spectacular, and the children's waffle was huge. Service was on point. I highly recommend. read more

Friendly, welcoming cafe, great for brekkie, brunch, or lunch. There are several tables available inside as well as out; we sat at the counter and got a good view of the short-order cook going about his competent and efficient biz. Food was pretty good too: my wife had the avocado toast special while I had the deluxe special of 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, home fries, and sausages - with some bacon thrown in on the side - and enjoyed a pleasant meal. They do take-out as well. read more

Rating: 4.3 Visited this small breakfast place located in east greenwich plaza. Came here tagging along with my partner for the yelp event. The place was somewhat busy but luckily we found parking and was sat down right away. The place seems like standard breakfast place but offers alcoholic drinks as well. I ordered the Portuguese benedict with some home fries. Eggs and linguica were cooked to perfection and linguica came with good portion. Home fries were savory and crispy. Pairing of benedict with home fries and ketchup/hot sauce combo was very good. The service was pretty good and staffs were nice. We did have to ask for some utensils and condiments since there were none on the table that we needed but it was not troublesome to ask. Overall I did like Mimi's cafe as breakfast spot. It's a bit out of way from where I'm located but I would come back when I'm around the area and maybe try their other menu. I can't speak for the alcoholic menu since I do not drink but my partner seemed to like the place as well and enjoyed the mimosa that came with the yelp event. read more

Mimi's Cafe - A server giving Buster a snack - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - East Greenwich, Rhode Island

I've come here a couple times now, and the food is consistently good. On our last visit, I had the burger. It's nothing super over the top, but it is done right. This place isn't boring though. They've got mimosa flights and chicken and waffles and all kinds of trendy stuff if that's what you're into. They've also got some good, old-fashioned, shredded hashbrowns that were on point. Service was super friendly and attentive, and there's plenty of seating. The size of the building is deceiving. I look forward to coming back for breakfast. read more

The food was amazing, I don't remember the name of the special, I ordered but it was top notch egg, sausage cheese on a muffin with sausage white gravy. Oh w/ the crispiest home fries. Plus I got a side of bacon it's a must. (So crispy) the coffee was good but the mimosas no words. I loved them all so I can't even tell you my favorite. The service was so nice and attentive. I even got to meet one of the owners. I will be back soon, they have a lunch menu I need to try next. Check this place out easy to find, good vibe and plenty of parking. read more

Our new favorite breakfast spot! Great food and love that they have breakfast cocktails like a mimosa flight to help make this low key breakfast spot feel like an exciting brunch without the city parking or price tag! read more

An amazing spot for breakfast. While the decor is a bit... stark (black and white aesthetic), the service and food more than make up for it. This place gets busy really quick for good reason - big portions and delicious food! Everything is made fresh in an open kitchen so if you sit at the counter you can see the breakfast magic. The omelets are massive, think a small animal. The hashbrowns nice and crispy and the bacon insanely meaty. Also, my fruitcup was only berries! Would recommend. read more

Always happy to see a locally owned breakfast spot around. We finally got around to trying Mimi's and I'm not sure why we hadn't made it there earlier. We went on a Sunday morning fairly early and were able to grab a seat without a problem. Service was friendly and efficient. They had a gingerbread flavored iced coffee was that was pretty tasty. The corn beef hash and egg dish was cooked perfectly and everything you look for in the dish. We will be back! read more

Cooks were so busy and the food came out very delicious. Was able to get 2 seats right away, no waiting. Staff were great

This place is so good. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Restaurant is small and clean. Waitress was wonderful.

We were very surprised to find that our vegetables in our omelet weren't seasoned at all and had no taste. The vegetables were cooked nicely, however. In addition, my turkey sausage did not resemble breakfast sausage at all...again, no taste, sadly. Same for the eggs I had. Salt, pepper, and a hint of garlic powder would do wonders for your food. The "home fries" were just the cheap restaurant-chain type, if you will (deep-fried cubes with no discernable flavor, seasoning, chopped onions, etc.). Also, even for East Greenwich, the prices were obviously inflated on everything, including house wine...$13 a glass (of such cheap wine) is simply unforgivable! We substituted provolone for American cheese on our avocado toast (rather bland again, but decent) and got charged an up-charge??? First and last time visiting for us! read more

This is my first time ordering blueberry pancakes and hash browns, through Doordash, I enjoyed 3 of them including the hash browns, I'm glad it was real blueberry's and real potatoes, I will order again, Also let my friends and family know how great the food is, I'm a happy and full customer Thank You read more

Although we live close to Mimi's, my wife and I rarely travel in that direction so we never thought of stopping there. Thanks to YELP community manager Rachael, we took a chance on a stormy day and tried it. Very easy to locate, we entered the restaurant and were quickly taken by the clean and comforting setting. The place was busy but we were immediately seated by Abbie, our waitress. She was delightful, explained the menus to us and provided great guidance in our selection. We split the Deluxe Special and so glad we did because together we just about were able to clean our plates. The food was bountiful and tasty. Noel, the owner came to visit us to make sure we enjoyed the experience. He explained the menu rotation he was planning around the upcoming holidays. We had a delightful experience and now look forward to more frequent visits. read more

It wasn't very busy and I was alone so I sat at the bar. It looked very nice with the menus and eating utensils meticulously arranged and wrap in a white napkin. They had a nice breakfast and lunch menu but I ordered the Vegi Omelette with included homefries and wheat toast dry. I watched the chef perform my meal directly in front of me because the grill is opposite the bar seating. The omelette was very good! Good portion with an abundance of vegetables, i.e. broccoli, spinach, onion and tomato. The home fries were fair at best. Not much flavor or onions. They drop small cubed potatoes in the grease fryer, not on the grill, which makes them more of mini French fries. I don't like or eat French fries so you can understand why I didn't like them. I believe the waitress's name was Abby. She did a good job waiting on me and the rest of the patrons sitting at tables. read more

It was our first time there, and, overall, we enjoyed it. The breakfast food was good, and our waitress was phenomenal. The big negative, like nearly every restaurant, these days, is the acoustics. It was so noisy, that it was nearly impossible to hear what the person at my table was saying to me. But, I will return. read more

I rarely post negative reviews, but we chose Mimi's based on the 4.2 rating for our Sunday drive breakfast. The staff was inattentive, distracted, and was bothered. The food cold, bland, and the opposite of what was ordered- potatoes not hash browns, over easy not over hard, grilled not toasted English muffin, turkey sausage severely over cooked. My friend's avacodo toast was hard and the small thinly sliced sour dough bread was crispy. The $4 cup of coffee was undrinkable, especially with the only option - processed creamer. Every place has good and bad, a 4.2 rating for this place is not accurate. read more

We had brunch and tasted their flight of mimosas during Valentine's Day weekend, and were very positively impressed. The service was a bit slow at the beginning, but when we explained we had another engagement, the server was responsive and accommodating. My favorite mimosa in the flight sampled was the sunrise mimosa, with Prosecco, pineapple, grenadine, and cherry, reminiscent of a refreshing Tequila sunrise cocktail. Their breakfast/brunch entrees are large and quite delicious. I had their 3 egg and corned beef hash with hash browns and rye toast and I couldn't stop raving. And my fiancée had their French toast platter and she remarked it was the best French toast breakfast she's ever had. We both finished our large plates! The price point of their flight of 3 mimosas at $28 and the individual glass at $12 is a bit high for such an informal venue, but the creativity of their creations may be worth the splurge on occasion. read more

Nope, Nope Nope. I stopped at Mimi's this week for lunch, and sat the the bar. I noticed the cook had a beard, and was not wearing a beard net, the second cook also had a beard and was not wearing a beard net as well. I am servsaf trained and as a food handler, not wearing hair nets, or beard nets is a big no no. I also noticed their butter and kitchen staples were near the counter and could be contaminated easily. These poor food handling practices are a hard no for me. I asked to pay for my Tea, and stated why I would not eat here. I will not be back. read more
