I arrived at 12:30 pm on Saturday and was told they had forgotten about my order, but that they would finish it that day and call me. I waited until 1:45 pm, called the shop and got no answer. Since they close at 2:00 pm, I rushed over and arrived at 2:06. The trousers still weren't ready, and I ended up waiting until 2:30 pm. After all of that, the three pairs weren't even hemmed to the same length. So I paid extra for rush service, didn't get them at the promised time, spent a good part of Saturday chasing the order, and still ended up with inconsistent alterations. Very frustrating experience and not what I expected after paying extra to have the work completed on time.

From the moment we arrived, she was unfriendly, dismissive, and surprisingly mean, even telling me that my bridal shower dress "wasn't pretty." Throughout the appointment she complained about having work to do, talked about how she "doesn't need to do this for work," and repeatedly mentioned being ready to quit. She also never responded to texts or calls, even when my mom reached out multiple times with important questions. Instead of creating a supportive environment, she spent most of the appointment venting about her kids and personal stress. What hurt the most was how she treated me personally. I was clearly nervous and overwhelmed, and she didn't care at all. Her tone and comments made me feel insecure and sad during what should have been one of the happiest moments of my life. I actually left the appointment feeling ugly, ended up not choosing the dress because of how she made me feel, and cried afterward. No bride should ever be made to feel that way. Overall, the experience was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and emotionally damaging. I truly hope other brides don't have to go through what I did.

Late last year, I purchased my dress from this shop and initially had a good experience…read more Unfortunately, everything changed once alterations began. When I purchased the dress, I specifically asked Kelly, the owner, if certain adjustments could be made, and she assured me they could. At my fittings, I raised concerns about the fit and alterations, but things continued to get worse. At one fitting, I was placed in the back in this little room where the seamstresses work on dresses because Kelly was overbooked, which was disappointing because I wasn't getting the full experience, but I was still willing to trust the process. At the next fitting, the dress was sliding down so bad. Kelly insisted the torso needed to be taken in, despite the dress already being very tight and me knowing I wouldn't be able to move if it were any tighter. There were also other quality concerns with the alterations. After that fitting, Kelly contacted my mom and decided to refund the alteration cost and have us go elsewhere because she didn't think she could make us happy. This was only one month before my wedding. I wasn't that upset because I just wasn't happy with the work and was considering going to someone else anyways. We took the dress to a seamstress with over 40 years of experience, who identified significant fit issues (way too big at the top and way too tight at the torso- which is exactly what I'd been telling Olha and Kelly all along) and it needed to be completely deconstructed and reconstructed to fit properly. Because this was so close to the wedding, my mom and I ultimately decided to purchase an off-the-rack dress that required minimal alterations. It was heartbreaking because I truly loved my original dress, but the alterations had left it in a condition that made it impractical to wear. I've since tried contacting Kelly about a refund for the dress itself, as the alterations left the gown needing extensive and significantly more expensive work than standard alterations. Unfortunately, I've received no resolution. As a bride, your wedding dress is incredibly important, and this experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. This was the worst part of my wedding planning process and this should've been one of the best parts. On a final note, Kelly also blocked me from the shop's Instagram after I voiced my concerns and emailed her about the situation. ‍ Overall, gorgeous dresses in this store but just in the wrong hands. Definitely do not recommend for alterations
