After moving to Highland Park during the middle of the pandemic, I hadn't really gotten around to many stores nearby. I walk by this store everyday in the pre-dawn hours walking my dog, and the store windows always look amazing. And hesitated to go in after reading some of the reviews. Today I had the opportunity to go in as I had the day off work. I was dressed poorly - yoga pants, sweatshirt, and the knit hat I usually run in. And yet the ladies working couldn't have been nicer! I experienced none of the attitude other reviewers mentioned. They were all kind, helpful, not overly pushy or sales-y, and even called around for a sweater in my size that they didn't have anymore. Now the prices are not cheap- but on a strip with Eileen Fischer, Nic & Zoe, etc., why would you expect it to be? They have a lot of different styles across the board - tops, accessories, shoes - and if you look you can find things in just about any price range. I like shopping local and will definitely be going back, especially when I see a cool top in their window display. read more

I bought a top online the other night and went to the Northfield Store today to pick it up. The top was a little snug so the sales people in Northfield checked the computer and told me a larger size was available in Highland Park. They called the store to let them know I was coming over. After I purchased the top in Highland Park, one of the sales women chastised me for not trying on the top before I bought it. She told me that the Northfield store should not have allowed me to get the larger size at the HP store and just this ONCE, they would make an exception for me. I must say that it is a novel experience for me to be reprimanded by a store AFTER I have spent money in that store. I was stunned at how arrogant and rude she was to a customer who had just spent money in her store, as if it is a privilege to shop there and that they are doing ME a favor. I have no complaints with the Northfield store but I will never again step foot into HP. read more

I love the clothes at this boutique and have spent a lot of money here. However, the employees working there could not have worst customer service skills. Not the friendliest staff. Great jewelry, great clothes. Upscale casual basics and trends. Low end is Michael Stars and LA Made. Yes jeans and shorts but heavily weighted to tops/sweaters/blouses/jackets. Great selection. A little (quite) pricey, but for the brands they sell, no surprise there. 60-150 for a 'date' tee or top- nice stuff, not clean your house tees. Beautiful stuff. They could just be a little less haughty and a little more welcoming. I bought once, browsed twice- I feel like I gave it a good shot. Not the most comfortable place to shop; feels a little judgey. Perhaps I should be more dressed up to buy clothes to get dressed up? I can spend my $$ elsewhere. read more

From the window, you would think this store would have some really funky and fun stuff, but when we went in it was really just black and white sweaters. Plus no one offered to help us despite the fact that there were at least three employees standing around and we were looking for something specific-- a fun sort of dress for a rehearsal dinner. It's nice walking into a place where someone greets you and asks if they can help you find anything. I noticed a previous review from 2008 that said the sales staff didn't acknowledge them, but maybe they read the review and improved their store because Bobbi (spelling?) was ready to help fill my dressing room with items I chose. My favorite reason for shopping at boutiques is to have someone help you find your style and sizes, especially when you're undressed in the dressing room and need a different size. I felt the outfits were simple, but unique, yet, by adding a few splashy pieces of jewelry (which they have there), you had an upscale outfit. The pricing was typical boutique pricing for brands such as Michael Stars, Sanctuary and Velvet. read more

So great to have this new boutique in Bucktown. What a great addition to Damen. They carry some great lines that I really like, in addition to being quite reasonable with their prices, especially given the competition in the neighborhood. I have had a couple of great experiences in the boutique on Damen. I find the staff to be really friendly and give you just enough attention to know they are available for help but not standing over you trying to oversell. I had a great experience with Stephanie. I could write a book about how disappointed I am with the store in Libertyville, the staff, the service and the quality of clothing they sell at outrageous pricing. My husband purchased a $180 sweater and a black pair of pants priced at $140 for my birthday. I wore the outfit once and noticed that the knitted sweater had a hole in the shoulder. My husband and I went back to the store and the owners daughter tried to make excuses and was rude about me asking to exchange it. She claimed that it would be a week until they could get another in my size from the Highland Park store. Really? One week? WTH? It's only a couple towns over. Why so long? I still had only worn the pants a few times in a couple months, but noticed the seam down the butt was pulled away from the fabric and when held up to light, you can see tiny holes vertically down the crack of the butt. I sent my husband back to the store and the sales woman told him that they were supposed to be like that and she would not allow a return. When he came home and told me that, I blew a gasket! I could not get back to that store until today, but I had the displeasure of meeting the saleswomen that told my husband that! She admitted it! She called the Manager over (the daughter of the owner, long Curley dark hair, no personality, no smile, no conversation, not friendly.) She agreed that the pants should not be like that and that she would have to create an RA and send them back to New York to the manufacturer. I said, "what?". I asked her if she could just exchange them for me and she said no because they looked like. Manufacturer defect. I asked if she had another pair and I would refund and repurchase. After looking in her computer she said that neither store had those paints in my size. Really? She just told me how popular the pants are and how thy always stock them. Today is Saturday. The young Manager (Megan I think her name was) said that she would send the pants out to New York on Tuesday. Although I was not happy that she couldn't just exchange the pants, I asked when I would get my pants back. She said about 4 weeks! 4 weeks I asked? She said yes about 4 weeks. What the hell? I will never shop there again and I don't think it was a good business decision to bring this store to our town here in Libertyville. I have no doubt the store will crash and close. Prices are out of control, Management and sales people are fake, rude and snotty. The quality of their clothing sucks. I dont know how they think they are bringing their tainted greedy business to Libertyville. They need to leave. I wouldn't recommend shopping here. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Stacy and my most recent experience at Enaz. In the midst of all of this COVID-19 madness, I ordered a beautiful Denise Designs bracelet on Enaz's website for Mother's Day. Stacy reached out to tell me that unfortunately the bracelet I had selected was no longer available. She offered various other options, but none of them really suited my mom's taste. Stacy was so kind and patient, and reassured me that her priority was to find my mother a bracelet she would love. After a few days of communicating back and forth about what I was looking for, Stacy even reached out to the designer to see if we could come up with a personalized piece for my mother. We ended up with the most beautiful bracelet that my mom ADORES, and I am so grateful to Enaz, Stacy, and local designer Denise for their genuine kindness and care for their customers. I really like the jewelry and clothing selection...but have to agree with some of the other reviewers about the "weird vibe" from the staff at this store. They're not rude....it's more like unwelcoming. I'm from out of town, and travel to HP a couple times each year, so it's not a one-time issue with one salesperson. I live in PA and here are several locally owned boutiques that carry some of the same clothing lines, so I'm used to shopping in this type of store...but I get an uncomfortable feeling from the staff at Enaz. It's a shame, because I like the things they carry, but their staff make me want to browse quickly and leave. read more

I purchased my wife a necklace from them in June, 6 weeks later it broke and they wanted to charge me to fix it. After a talking to a couple different people they agreed that they wouldn't charge us. When my wife came to pick up the necklace they asked us to pay for the repair. I had to them talk to one of the owners how agreed that if they told us that we would be charged then she would honor that. So we picked up the necklace and it was the wrong necklace. We still don't have the necklace and they do not return phone calls or give us any information on getting us our necklace back. Worst customer experience I have ever had! This is in regards to their pop-up on Damen in Chicago: Items are EXTREMELY marked up and customer service is horrible. Bought two rings that were half the price at Lori's on Armitage (go there). I called in to ask if they could do a price match or return, which they told me I could. Went there and then only offered store credit. Another store that probably won't last on Damen with these archaic policies. Women who work there are bored, rich and rude. Not helpful at all. read more

I went to the Enaz location in Northfield last week. Bobby and Donna were excellent sales people. They were so nice and helpful. I bought a sweater that was originally $180.00 less 30%. I wore the sweater that night and when I came home I took off my coat and realized that the sweater was pilling. I called the store and the owner told me that since I wore the sweater it can't be returned/exchanged. You are kidding!! You don't stand by your products? They didn't even suggest that i bring it in so they could look at it. I spent around $130.00 (originally $180.00) for a sweater that I will probably not wear again. ENAZ has the most overpriced, over-hyped clothes that I have ever seen. Their clothes are junk and they use high pressure sales tactics to make the sale. I love Enaz! It's my "go to" spot when I need a gift or a cute outfit. The sales girls and owners know my style, but aren't afraid to bring me things outside of my comfort zone. It's one of the few smaller boutiques around where I know I can always find something. Great jewelry and accessories. For the record......I'm a 50 year old North Shore resident who wears a 6/8, but my 16 year old, size 2 daughter can usually find a top or leggings that work for her too. read more

The only problem I have with this store is that there are too many things I like every time I shop there. I find the staff to be helpful and friendly. When I just want to look around, they are respectful of that and not pushy. There is merchandise at many price points and a lot of great, unique gift/accessory items. I love going to Enaz in hp.
