I was gifted guitar lessons as a Christmas present this past year. I've attempted to teach myself guitar many times throughout my life, but I never got very far. It takes a certain type of person to teach themselves an instrument. You need patience, discipline and to be able to hold yourself accountable - all traits I lack! I had basically given up on the idea of learning guitar. Enter Alex and Milwaukee Music Lessons! I've been taking lessons from Alex for over a month now and I've made more progress in that time than the dozens of times I've tried to teach myself. Alex is patient, explains things clearly (not just the how, but also the why), and makes it fun! I'm learning the songs I want to learn out of the gate.
