I got a weekend rental of speakers, amp, sound board, mike and mike stand for a good price with a reasonable deposit. Although he took the time to explain how to connect it all, I wasn't paying attention so I had to rely on my teenage bass player to get it all going. Since she doesn't come with the deal, you're going to have to pay better attention, I recommend have a friend video record his explanation and get to the gig early enough to make mistakes and corrections on set up. It's a one man operation so I ended up having to pay an extra day to make pick up and drop off work, but it was still a good deal.

We highly recommend Sound Check Studios!

Additionally, learning piano through the Hands and Harmony provides kids with tools such as self-discipline, focus, and determination which directly impact performance in school and daily life. My six-year-old has been taking lessons since she was three and is able to play Ode to Joy from memory and read notes. The day this happened I almost cried. Exposure to music early on directly impacts how kids learn, grow, and ultimately succeed later on in life. Hands in Harmony has allowed us to tap into this opportunity. I come from a place where learning an instrument what part of my schools curriculum. When Ioved to Milwaukee and saw how underfunded music was, my heart sank. That is, until I learned of Hands and Harmony. I recommend this studio, their patient and enthusiastic teachers, to EVERYONE. Get your kids in music. Give them the gift of piano. You will not be disappointed in the contagious joy that comes from having a musician in the family and community.

I have only the highest praise for Redwood Acoustics…read more Tom genuinely sought to understand my needs when choosing a guitar. His expertise helped inform my decision by clarifying some of the more subtle aspects of the "best -fitting" instrument (e.g., differences in glue, properties of finish, interactions between woods and model size, idiosyncrasies of particular luthiers). Collaboration with Tom was invaluable given the size of the purchase and not being able to physically visit his shop. Many conversations with Tom demonstrated his ability to listen to (and help me better discern) my preferences. In fact, he came to know me well enough to recommend a Netflix program that has quickly become an all-time personal favorite! I wasn't expecting that during the guitar buying experience. Tom stands out from the other high-end instrument dealers I've dealt with in the past. His professionalism, warmth, and knowledge are impressive, and I'm delighted to know that I can give him a shout at any point to pick his brain on all matters acoustic.

He asked me to hang onto it for a few days to see if the excessive heat and humidity at the time of shipping had caused extreme warping of the top and possibly keeping it in controlled atmosphere would allow it to settle. Emailed him a few days later to say it had not improved and it was being returned. He laid down terms of return which I agreed to which included a re-stocking fee and me paying for shipping. I sent it back and as soon as he got it he refused to refund my money. I'm in litigation now with the credit card company. So far they are giving him $1009 of my money for nothing. If you aren't hands on in his shop I would be very careful in dealing with him. He lied about the condition of the guitar in the first place and about everything else after. Also so much for using a credit card for protection. The banks are evil in case you didn't already know.

He has ADHD but is very driven to learn and play music. She has not only been the PERFECT instructor for his learning style, she has catered her teaching to his interests, needs, and preferences. She often composes music for him in order to provide him with things he wants to play. While she uses theory books to teach basics, she is adamant about students being able to play things they want to and enjoy and goes out of her way to find this type of music. She was so wonderful with my son that my daughter now takes lessons with her as well. Her passion for music and inspiring kids to love it is incredible. Every year she helps my kids to learn holiday music, mixes it, records it, and creates beautiful gifts that we give to family and friends every year. I cannot say enough about her, her professionalism, and her quality as an instructor. Throughout COVID she ran virtual lessons for my kids and both looked forward to them every week and were able to continue their lessons. Someday, when my kids are no longer taking lessons, I plan to sign up to learn piano with her as well.

After 8 months of lessons, my son has started to take part in the church worship team as a backup guitarist - it's a small church, but still, that's what Kirk did, built up his confidence and love for guitaring!
