I was debating between 1 and 2 stars for this place. The wait staff were nice so i bumped it to 2 stars, but the food is 1 star. The fries were dark husks, looks like someone forgot them in the deep frier. My fish n chips were all batter and oil. My friend's burger was way overcooked. One of my friend told me the Milton's have the best chicken wings so I ask my co workers to try it out and we did after work. I didn't like the wings maybe because I expected to much since my friend told me about it. Just my opinion... Maybe i will try one more time someday if my taste bad stays the same. read more

Not a place that your typical American or tourist would visit! This is a place for locals. As soon as you walk in, you can tell it's a place where locals go. They have a bar/lounge on your left as you walk in. The restaurant seating is further into the restaurant. I believe they have outdoor seating as well. In short? This place has good value for money, great food, decent service. You'll get your money's worth. Tonight, I went with a co-worker and we ordered: - 1 lb. wings (medium) - Chicken Stir Fry - Burger - Onion Rings All of this was for a very reasonable price (not quoting just in case prices may change). However, we got lucky! Their special tonight (Monday) was 1 lb. wings for 1/2 price. Regularly, they are $10.99 for 1 lb. Their WINGS are worth it! This was our favorite. They are jumbo wings (i.e. not the miniature wings with little meat). They are fairly large (not a dinosaur, so please don't read this and expect HUMONGOUS! unrealistic sized wings)... Their batter is medium (not too thin, not tooo thick). They must fry the wings, 2 or 3 times. They came out EXTRA EXTRA Crispy and good. Although we ordered the medium wings, they were not very spicy at all. Not sure what their sauce was, but it was pretty awesome. Looked like ketchip and frank's sauce because it was slightly sweet. Either way, it was rockin'! Similar to the wings, the ONION RINGS had a thick batter but were EXTRA EXTRA crispy as well. Because they were so crispy, it was tasty. The breading doesn't fall apart when you bite into it. It stays as one piece. Anyway, these were a hit with us, as well. I ordered the chicken stir-fry, which was good. But there was WAY Too much rice for me. I just stuck with eating the chicken and some of the veggies. As I mentioned in the picture, the sauce was great, so no problem there. Now, I didn't try the burger, but my co-worker absolutely LOVED the bread that the burger came on. She mentioned that she may have liked the bread even more than the burger ..but she noted that the burger was good, as well. Our server was very honest with us. She mentioned that she preferred the onion rings over the fries and explained why. We sat in the bar, so can't really expect service to be top notch as it's a very laid back area and people are more interested in the game than the service. So, service was okay. When we had her attention, she was pretty upfront. One thing, though. I wish she had mentioned that we would be charged the full price for onion rings even though we were substituting the onion rings for the fries (with the burger). That's the only thing I was disappointed about, but I'll get over it! All in all, was really delicious. We plan on going back again!!! read more

We were staying at the Radisson and this place is across the street. I ordered wings which were raw in the middle and then Chicken Souvlaki which had the texture of the sole of a shoe. Evidently they have issues with the preparation of chicken. read more

Terrible. Ordered wings 1 hour ago. Brought the wings after last call. Took 20 minutes to see the manager to tell her we didn't want the wings. Manager did finally come over. Disappointing. Hopefully they can do better next time...if we come back which we probably won't. read more

It took a while to be seated even though the restuarant appeared to be almost empty. We got a table, and the server eventually came to take drink orders. Terrible in every way! The bathroom was disgusting. We waited almost 25 minutes before a nasty server with a terrible attitude showed up. Despite some not to flattering reviews lately I decided to try this bar out. Wednesday is wing night so it was perfect timing for me. The wings were a bit on the expensive side to begin with but with half price on Wednesday the price was much more manageable (about $15 for 12 large wings). The wings were perfectly cooked and were very saucy which is the way I like them. I did not ask for them this way so if you don't like them too saucy maybe you should order them as such. Three times I have had food there here. First time the order was not correct at all. Second time I ordered take out. The lady said it would be 30 minutes and I said an hour would be best. When I showed up for my order she looked at me and said she forgot to put the order in. I had to sit at the bar and wait 20 minutes. Third time I went with a friend for a quick bite and the service was awful. She forgot how I wanted my wings. I asked for a side of hot sauce and she forgot that. She had no manners. The restaurant itself is a poorly lit confusing mishmash of banquet hall, old school diner, and one of those dreadful places where old people get their liver and onions! You're probably wondering why I gave this place 5 stars? Let me begin by saying I consider this place to be more of a bar than a restaurant. Its a 5 star hole in the wall bar that has your average bar food, with great service. I would not recommend bringing someone on a first date year if you are trying to impress them. I have been here over ten times and it has never been crowded. They play classic rock music, food and drink prices are good. Portion size for food are american style, meaning you get a lot. Easy to carry on conversations with your friends around the table whilst keeping an eye on the game wo having to turn your head. Watched the 2016 champions league final with friends enjoyed various pints and very large tasty wings. Waitresses were fantastic. Respectful, prompt, and at our service for three straight hours. Does this place have the best food? No. Does this place have the best beer selection? No. Is this place one of my favourite restaurants in the K/W area? Yes. But why?... It is a family restaurant with a pub section in the back and horrible decor (recently renovated, however...still uninteresting decor though...but definitely an improvement). The service is on-time. The food is good. The portion sizes are more than fair. The prices are more than fair...and one of the best features. They are definitely not following suit with all of the other "Family Restaurants" charging an arm and a leg for traditional meals. Some meals they do right and some they definitely do not. Their ribs and fries with gravy are amazing. Their wings are meaty and tasty with a variety of sauces to choose from. Went on a Sunday - had wings as an appetizer, and one fish & chips and one burger with Caesar salad. The wings were pretty good (heavily breaded - I asked for not breaded, but they came breaded anyway - and then there was an explanation that they didn't have any non-breaded ones. Probably the worst restaurant that my spouse and I have ever eaten at. This place belongs on an episode of "Restaurant Impossible." I had the souvlaki - the pita was literally stale, and the rice dry and undercooked. My spouse had the mushroom Fettuccine Alfredo - I tasted it after she had no more than three bites. Today there wasn't many people there I ordered my wings extra crispy. As I was eating I found a bloody wing. Milton's is an AMAZING hidden gem. Best wings anywhere (it's true, not just saying that), and excellent specials every day of the week. Wing night Mondays and Wednesdays keep me coming back. The service was unfriendly, cold, and slow even though my wife and I were seated at the bar. When we did manage to place our order we were told that we would have to pay for it first! I asked why and they said that it was because they didn't know us. I told them to give me the bill and to cancel the order. The bill came, we were still charged for the food. I have been going here for so many years. I went here with my mom as a child. She and her boyfriend know the owner. I came here 2 years in a row for my birthday. The second year was crap. The so called "manager" is so young and she didn't know what to do. My family complained their food order was wrong. My niece got spicy hot wings instead of honey garlic, took over an hour to correct her order and by then she was just shy and awkward that everybody had been eating and she's the only one missing out. I'm not saying you can't be young and be a a manager I'm saying if you can't be a manager you can't be a manager. Today I went back with my boyfriend and my best friend, took 40 minutes to get AN APPETIZER of French onion soup and then our food came and my friend got a hard, burnt burger. Our waitress was slow, there was 3 tables in her section and probably 5 or 6 in the whole restaurant. I was so angry I was shaking. I couldn't enjoy my wings, I complained for my friend about her burger and asked for a new one to be remade and the waitress huffed as she walked away without even trying to hide it. I asked to speak to the manager and all she did was DISCOUNT my friends burger. Not even remove it from her bill. And what about me? Just because my order wasn't completely messed up means I have to pay 15.99 for a lb of wings when I could barely eat it on comfort. I want my money back for everything I ordered and I will be calling to complain.
